Just bought the album, both vinyl and CD. Can't get enough of it. Music is one thing, but this is something else! Powerful but tender at the same time, full of magic and transcendence. Thank you so much for this new experience, guys!
These guys are, well, I'd give them a 10. That trumpet player ATTACKS that horn, and after the drummer the entire band looks at each other for cues and triggers - then they're off! Watch their eyes ; they make sure they're together on transitions. A quick hand slice and they're into a bitchin refrain. This may be a one session recording, I can't tell how much (normal) overdub was going on. But absolutely friggin amazing musicians. BTW, would someone let his girlfriend in the studio before she ruins the take? Lol
Was kinda looking for the upright bass player with the same name on Amazon Unlimited, but got this guy instead. 🤔🤔🤔🤔 c'est la vie Never heard of him before, but definitely will check out his music though in my Amazon Echo dot 3rd Gen music library..😁😁😁😁
Mixed reaction from me, a good vibe but quite generic and forgettable musically (melodically, harmonically, rhythmically and dynamically), not much personality and a lot of monotony. That drumming for example might just have easily been a synth loop. The style over substance with the requisite high sheen video of the slick, heavily produced Snarky Puppy approach is cheapening the rich possibilities of sincere, unique, advanced, creative and adventurous musical expression IMO. 6 out of 10.
Juste fantastique et transportant.
Heard This Song At A Speaker Demo & Nearly Fainted Lidtenin To The Bass ...🤯😇😲🤘Too Good
Legendary 🎶🧙♂️🔮🪄🎵
יה אללה תנו לנו כנפיים... עוד קצת:)
Great cover of a great song. Feeling some early 70's Miles electric vibe here. Love it!

Envious, man. Would love to have this on vinyl.
Look forAngela Avetysyan. She is a great trumpet player with an excellent band, too !
Avi conjures that wonderful genie that early Weather Report stirred when it sang the body electric.
Very nice, a big surprise at the end of the album with Teardrop from Massive Attack - a beautiful edition of this mythical song.
Avishai Cohen the GREAT!!!! Beautiful sound!!!!
Absolute beauty!
I've heard them yesterday, performing @Jazzkaar in Estonia. They are phenomenal 👏👏👏
My man Avishai never disappoints. Always inching ahead. Beautiful.
Beards, glorious beards. The sound expression you share is truly transcendental. Probably the most gentle trumpet I've heard recently.
Really like this album. It's very spiritual with a powerful message. ✌️🎵🎶🎺 🥁 🎸
That intro drum break! 🙆♂️🔥
No words, incredible
Voei alto e longe, obrigado Avi & cia!
Absolute emotional... no more words needed... just listen.
Finally! After a week of searching, I found this. Heard it over a week ago and the DJ never mentioned artist or song title.
Good Music socks 🤩

Is this impromptu?

Jon Dingwall thanks Jon
Not enough hipster accessories!
beard ≠ hipster whatever you think *that* is, nothing at all cool I'd guess
Close your eyes and use your ears
hang on a sec... I thought avishai cohen is a double bassist?
Come rock out in yishuv adam

ooops! wrong Avishai Cohen.
All of the hipster silliness and bro antics really distract from the fabulous music.
stop making bad copies of Miles Davis
