Is the dock necessary for a Nintendo Switch? Is it possible to go USB-C straight from Switch to my Android tablet's USB-C? I would need a USB-C cable that is male on both ends.
you could probably buy a smaller USB-C dock/dongle compatible with the Switch to replace the dock. Connect the dongle to the Switch and then connect the power supply and HDMI adapter to the dongle.
It's quite hard to judge.. but in Inversus, it was very playable.. and when I'd tried it with other apps it wasn't & the lag was very noticeable. I'll see whether I can slow down the video & calculate the lag, but you might be able to get some idea by watching this video closely.

This is a super cool app. The only drawback though, is that there is a lot of static noise coming from the audio.
