    Generally coolant passages in intakes are designed to keep the intake warm both helping atomize fuel and preventing the intake from icing up.

    Bro thx so much for this video I love your vids the banshee especially I cracked my case while driving my four wheeler. It’s the same four wheeler or raptor 700 R and this helped me so much to get the engine out man. Thanks so much for posting this video man.

    Use a scotch brite pad and clean up the swing arm bolt, remember to grease it up before you put it back in. Now when the swing arm is free if I was you I would press some new fresh grease in the swing arm bearings as well:)

    For the piston I would go and get a vertex piston I had all wesico in all my bikes and then I put a vertex in my 250 and you could definitely feel a little more power sky te vertex and they’re a great piston from everyone I know that used them agrees

    You should get some impact sockets before you have to pick a chrome one out of yourself

    What tools did you use to get the swing arm bolt loose

  • @upshiftclutchups665
    @upshiftclutchups665 6 років тому +1

    If you bought the crank from Rocky mountain atv it would have come with every bearing and seal and gasket for the bottom and top end

    You should have took the top end off first then pulled the motor it would have been easier so when you put it back it put the bottom end it the frame then put the top end together on the frame it’ll be a lot easier

    • @MichaelSabo
      @MichaelSabo  6 років тому

      I may do this. I like doing the motor outside of the frame though. Thanks for the tip!

    It's a really bad idea to pound on the end of a threaded rod with something that's steel. Get a brass rod for those kinds of jobs. It's way to easy to mushroom the end of the rod and ruin the threads.

    Thought for sure the swing arm bolt was gonna screw you. Took me like 5 hours to get mine out on the banshee. Do yourself a favor coat that thing in never seez when you put it back in
