I love this pattern I'm going to make a scarf.Love all your videos. You are a great teacher thank you.
I was confused also. But that is easy to do. This pattern will take some thinking on your part. Watch the video a few times and you should get it. Thank you for showing this pattern. With some practice I "WILL" get it. I can not read pattern instructions, so I very much appreciate your videos.
I LOVE THIS SCARF!! Your patterns are always creative and cool. I'm so going to do this for school this year. 😃
Just wanted to say thank you so much for all the tutorials that you make for us to learn off of You certainly have a talent and you are a great teacher thanks can't wait till I get to crochet more of your patterns
The overall pattern is pretty easy once you've done a few rows; it's the first couple that take some concentration. Great video.
That's a great scarf. I wanna make one. The colour is awesome and I can't wait to get, have to wait for the stores here to get it in. Amazing job
This looks awesome. Now I have to wait for stores around here to start carrying this line.
Bernat mosaic yarn can be found in some local craft stores or you could go online to the Bernat website and purchase it there ....cathy@ the crochet crowd helpdesk ;)
Thank you so much for posting this video. I had trouble with the written directions, but the video was a great help. It was easy to see the pattern after a few rows. I love the way my scarf came out. :)
Wow that is pretty yarn!
The hook Mikey is using in this video is a tulip hook made by Caron.... they can be purchased at Caron . com ...Cathy@ The Crochet Crowd:)
I love this! Thanks for sharing!!!!!!!!!!
Muito lindo seu trabalho parabéns vou fazer obrigada
You’re welcome.
Very cool!👍🏼👌🏻
Thank you! Cheers!
I'm totally doing this Mikey :)
Karl
The written pattern is different from what you do in the video. Row 3 says to bpdc in 1st post, then fpc in next 2 sts. You do 2 bpdc's at the beginning of the row. Help?
. . . Brilliant!
Not sure what your asking ?? cathy@ TCC helpdesk :)
great looking stitch will try
I'm going to use this pattern to make a blanket for my friend. :D
can you use this pattern to do a throw or a blanket instead of a scarf ?
I love this pattern ❤ Just confirming that it has an odd number multiple for the chain or is it even number +3 for the chain?
That's nice ...thanks.
it really helped me.
Thank you so much! You are amazing and fantastic! =D
I'm making this with Bernat Pop-Lipstick On Your Collar, for one of my nieces for Christmas. :)
Thanks I missed that part. I think I was distracted by all the pretty colors! LOL
Thanks Mikey. I just have another idea to use for this, not a scarf either.
This may be a stupid question but where do I buy this specific yarn? Thanks.
I believe he's saying to end each row (regardless of what repeat your on) in a half double crochet.
Do you know how much yarn was used to make this?
What type of hook are you using...brand and where i can purchase please.
is rhb unforgettable yarn same as mosaic yarn i love this pettern and got unfrogettable
Can you use a 5.5 needle instead of a 6?
Hi, just curious about the written pattern. Row 3 says bpdc in 1st stitch, but that doesn't work out right. The video shows row 3 starting with bpdc in the 1st 2 stitches, so the pattern needs to be corrected, doesn't it? Thank you!
In response to marydc32, If you look t it again, Mikey does do TWO back posts right at the beginning of the second row. Look again and you will see that one backpost is in the frontpost of the previous row and the next backpost is in the backpost of the previous row, this caused the "angle " to shift one stitch over. Does this make sense to you?
He mentioned at the beginning that you will need 2 skeins of yarn...at least two skeins of the particular yarn he's using at the length and width he's making. All these factors will change the amount of yarn you will need to purchase or spin.
the yarn for this woven scarf pattern isnt on anywhere i can buy it i heard it was discontinued
This is an absolutely beautiful scarf. Where can I find the pattern?
He's giving it to us on the video... however, if this a Bernat yarn, I think at their website...? I'll check it out! Now, I am curious!
I was wondering if one wanted to make this pattern into a blanket what would the multiple be?
Hi Mikey, I know this is an older video so I hope you reply back soon. I was wondering if you wanted to make a wider scarf, do you just chain an odd number ? Thanks in advance
Yes, it would be an odd number , because the motif is in pairs and you need a 3 chain turning chain. 😊
The free pattern is not available!!
Hi judi, here is the written pattern - Cathy@The Crochet Crowd ;) www.thecrochetcrowd.com/en/scarves-infinity-wraps-and-winter-wear/892-woven-scarf.html
Keep in mind, the whole pattern is staggered. So there will be times when 1 back post or 1 front post double crochet will be appropriate.
Yeah I don't think it matters because I'm using one of those and I think it's mostly the size of the yarn
I am totally confused by your diagram...I think the written instructions work for me but the diagram is crazy because there is no key....
Hey I really like this but I’m sorry to say this you knit very good I really love it but please can’t you knit a little bit slowly you go to fast knitting....I truly can’t not get to knit like you do anyway thank you bye:)
Frustrating....no matter how much i try since I was around 8 (now 39) I suck at it bad....sigh...not meant to do this...oh well....
