This is beautiful and your instructions make it seem easy for a novice like me.thx you so much ,looking forward to making a super scarf using this pattern.
Mikey - love your pattern! Never knew you wrote patterns. Multi-talented. Love the videos, love the light heartedness when a laugh escapes, cracks me up. Best wishes and take care, thank you for the great scarf video.
The first tutorial of yours I've been able to follow no problem. It turned out perfect and shows off thick to thin yarn beautifully. Thank you! This yarn is discontinued unfortunately, but there's other brands in this type available. Thank you Mikey! I'd like to hear you laugh more 🙂
Thank you for sharing this beautiful pattern. As soon as I finish my project I'm going to make this pretty scarf. Do you happen to know the washing instructions for the yarn?
I am having an issue with this and I’m wondering if anyone can help out. One side of my work is every so slightly longer than the other, and I can’t help but feel it is due to the dc ending one row, and a SC ending the other. I am sure I am wrong, but it is bugging me.
Hi Darshi. Yes, you can use a fine yarn. Just use the hook size for your chosen yarn. It will say on the label what is best suitable. You will therefore need a longer foundation chain. Just keep to a muliple of 3 till you get the width you need and then add 1 chain at the end.
Hi all. Am fairly new to crocheting and still learning my way around. Could this be turned into a blanket? I am not a scarf person in anyway but would love to try this pattern out in a blanket version
Hi Mindy. Yes, absolutely. I am using this stitch to make a throw. Just make your foundation chain in a multiple of 3, for the length you require and then add 1 chain at the end. Any yarn can be used too. Just use the required size hook for that yarn. it will say what size on the label. Happy crocheting!
+Mindy Stoermann Thankyou. If you need any help from me, just ask! I love crocheting too. Can't stop once ive started! Lol. Ive just finished crocheting the snowman, Olaf, that ive designed myself. Thrilled with it! Have fun! x
I've been crocheting for 4 years. I have been following you since then. I enjoy your teaching very much. I have a question. Are you the same "Michael" whose name is on the craft store called "Michael's"? I know this is a silly question, but I've always wondered.

can this pattern suit a man?
+Fatima Shamsudin
I don't see why not. You might leave off the fringe and just make it longer.

Thank you so much.
