NO gripes from me... this is an item that helps the casual player, which is their money grab, achieve success while not pushing them above the hardcore player base. As a day one player that will do higher numbers with a two bar setup, this doesn't bother me none and only helps the pve community. The casual player either isn't going to care about bar swapping, or not fully understand bar swapping/light attack mechanics, so if this helps them burn things faster, especially in 4 man content...I'm all for it. You never understand how bad dps can be until you main tank in a daily random. Plus there's a comment above about a person that is happy for this item because they're disabled, which honestly makes me happy for them. I can only see this being an issue in pvp where WW builds are gonna be crazy, but I'm long past done complaining about the balancing of pvp.
Because you dont get additional damage for casting crystal weapon twice in a row, it is actually worth it to keep up the tormentor ability during the first half of the parse
I tested this but whether I kept the bird up in the first half or not it was basically the same DPS.

That build looks like a dream come true. I'm so annoyed by that extensive management of all those dots, aoe's and stuff und my second bar. I guess, a build like that wouldn't be that possible for a nightblade?
It is possible on a nightblade. I will do a One Bar Build for any of the Mag/Stam Setups for each class.

If I understand correctly, even though crystal weapon buffs your next 2 light attacks (within 6 secs), you still suggest, when the dots are up and we are in the "spammable phase", to proceed more or less the same as in most spammable abilities, i.e., Light->Spammable, Light->Spammable etc Have you tried performing another Light attack after crystal weapons and then do your next (light attack weaved) crystal weapons? If there was no global cooldown this would definitely be better, but now I don't know. Have you tried it? You could even insert a low cost dual wield ability (light attack weaved) to exploit both the light attack and the skill global cooldown. Not sure if either of these would work better. It just feels as better use of resources, but I may be wrong.
Crystal weapon first hit 6k dmg and second hit 900 dmg
yeah the buff lasts two attacks, but the second hit's bonus is a LOT weaker than the first hit. its less damage for the ressource spent to reset after one hit, but its also more dps
The hardest part of any of these builds is being able to LA weave efficiently and consistently.

Yes totally. Honestly any set is fine as a replacement that gives good extra damage.
I heard there was a nerf to the ring, is this build still good? will dps decrease alot?

Liking how this plays. Here's something that crossed my mind though: Cloudrest has a boss mech that makes your active bar shoot lighting at your group, so you have to switch. This doesn't let you switch, so how would you deal with that?
It gets cancelled like it does on WWs.
Does it? It doesn’t apply to werewolves as they don’t have a second bar. With this ring you do have a second bar, you just can’t swap to it. So the overload from Relequen will kill you and your teammates. I believe The Tank Club has a video showing this.
Why do you spam Crystal weapon as the spammable if it affects the next 2 light attacks, aren't you wasting resources?
why do you write in your guide that ring should have Healthy, but in your vod the ring has bloodthirsty?
Why sacrifice the skamp rather than the bird thing for your healing skill?
You can sacrifice either to be honest. Bird is a bit better for single target and you don't have to activate the skill. If you want more of a mix between Single Target and AoE then go for the scamp. You could also replace Bound Armaments with Critical Surge to keep both pets, pretty much anything is possible as long as you keep the spammable haha.
Is this build still up to date?
I don't think so, since the oakensoul ring no longer has a major but only a Minor buffs. But maybe I'm wrong. It will probably work, but it won't do as much dmg

I give it one to two patches.
They will only nerf it, if they nerf the DPS potential of 2 bar builds as well. Otherwise, there is no real reason to nerf it.
This mythic is gonna be a total game changer especially for casuals. I can 2 bar fine but I'll definitely be using this for more lazy builds. I hate mythic leads though they are WoW level of mindless rng grind. At least unlike WoW we only have to grind it once then we can reconstruct as many times as we want. Gonna be a nightmare to grind on launch though.

Meh, this isn't "completely busted." 108k isn't that good compared to the 125k+ of standard 2 bar dps builds. This item just helps simpler builds be more viable in pve.
that makes it completely busted, you dont need to micro 2 full bars with a lot of dots, 100k+ is ideal for most trials so this build should be trial ready and itll be easier to focus on mechanics.
@@jacobjarmuskiewicz6253 I disagree. I personally don't think that the mere act of performing your rotation should be the thing gatekeeping people out of veteran content. The average player struggles to even hit 60k dps while the vet dlc dungeon/trial runners pull over 100% more than that and that's simply from the dps builds of this game being way too needlessly complicated and requiring carpal tunnel syndrome to be achieved. An average player should be able to easily hit a respectable dps number capable of completing veteran content and the thing that should be gatekeeping players is the actual difficulty of the content, not the needlessly complicated difficulty of perfectly efficient light attack spamming and animation cancelling that the game doesn't even attempt to teach you how to do properly and shouldn't even be part of the game to begin with since it's basically just glitching/exploiting animations.

@@Bumbum_Inspector I do 75-80k on my stamsorc dps and I never felt the need for more dps, no matter the content. The build is made to get up to about 100k, but my crappy weaving and timing will probably never be good enough to reach that sort of numbers.
@@newworldforward1842 So you've fully cleared all veteran trials with that build? I find that hard to believe as all guilds that I've been in require a minimum of 90k-100k for any veteran trial except the craglorn ones which are significantly easier.
When all of you popular eso gamers talk about how broken or busted an item or set is, is why stuff gets nerfed into the ground.
Funny thing is, everyone talked about how OP this set is and it actually got buffed.
