I did a one bar frost build w frost bite, ice heart, 2 piece trainee and charged perfected ice staff just now. I noticed that when you apply chill you do a direct damage hit. If it crits its about 4k and doesn't have a cool down. So I can get it to consistently hit for 3-4 times every 2 seconds. Looks pretty nutty on screen when you'redoing it aoe. Just for fun. Went perfected maelstrom to see if I applies to the unstable wall explosion which it does. I tried masters frost staff and that worked good to. I end up with about 3-4 abilities that proc chilled almost every w seconds. I'm kind of getting turned off of the lightning heavy attack even tho it wrecks. The sheilds are nice and ice staff heavy hits for around 50k still. While doing lots of dots and chilled procs for again around 4-5k crits.

Would love to see a warden TANK build that focuses hard on winter’s embrace and other ice abilities (comet, and staff). Every ice warden I find is a damage build that has less than 5 ice abilities…
@@midnightsoulband9320 Xynode hasn’t specified really if this build is for group or solo content or for both. For soloing it is very important to have a source of major breach and minor if possible.
Took me almost two weeks to gather the sergeant gear (random drops suck) but god was it worth it. Can finally solo world bosses (less then 2million health) and dungeons solo. Now before others jump to try this build, there’s a few downsides to this build. 1. The skill lines need to be in the 40s to get those passives mentioned. 2. Need at best 300 CP to get skills and passive boosts from champion tree and close to numbers of resources and dps shown(Not exact but close) 3. Having divines on majority of gear or whatever trait was stated will require 50 transmute crystals and having researched the trait you wish to change to because again random drop with random trait. Again I love this build but it does come with a few downsides to get the setup shown on video. However this applies to every build out there. Thanks though for an affective PVE build.
Keep in mind if you get enough pieces of a set you can then just reconstruct it with whatever trait you desire and if you get enough of the pieces it will drop the transmute cost below 50 down to only 25 if you get a full set in your collections. Never transmute directly for sets in your collections. Just collect enough pieces till its cheaper to reconstruct.
I never liked the 2 bar mechanic, so this is perfect for me, but I don't want to spend money on DLC to get the mythic ring. Will high isle be added to free DLCs in eso plus once next dlc comes out?
Yes once Necrom releases High Isle will become free for ESO+ but there is a bundle to pre-order Necrom and get the collectors editions of all previous chapters if thats something you'd be interested in and would unlock it permantly
Running it with a few purple and yellow gear and it hits like a truck . Run dread cell vet yesterday to try it out and only died twice and that was after only running it in craglorn as test run for a minute . I'm going to get it all and yellow gear then I'll be going nuts lol 🤣
In the past I was finding Vet Maelstrom Arena with a Magblade quite a challenge. I played very little for a year and recently started again. Would this be a build appropriate for Vet Arenas? Or better to use the 2 bar warden build? Or a different class with 1 bar. Thanks for advice.
I run through vMaelstrom easily with my one bar oakensoul sorc. Mages Wrath (execute), Wall, Matriarch, Hurricane and Hardened Ward. Get the Bastion star in red tree, it'll make your shield stronger. Mine is like 15k. Cast ward at the end of your heavy attacks when there's nothing else to cast and it'll keep you alive. I use the same build in other content as well, been solo'ing vet dungeons, world bosses etc. Btw, Hurricane is a flex spot...I like it because it makes me run faster...Also have the CP star that gives a boost to movement speed after making a kill so I'm constantly zooming around lol. You can swap it out with anything you want.
Hey are you planning on show casing a one bar build for Sorcerer? I've attempted to mimic this build on a sorc that doesn't use pets (kinda tired of pets) and I'm no good with 2 bar builds. Essentially I just went with Unstable Wall, Lightning Splash and Lightning Form for my attacks with Inner Light same as with this build and my "Bull Netch" is Dark Deal to restore health and stamina when needed. I'm using the same armour set-up as in this video. Thoughts?
What's your thoughts on the vampire ability - blood frenzy. It's a free 400 weapon/spell damage. Yes it puts a dot on you but laughably healed through.
That and screaming cliff racer for the passive aswell as the +400 weapon and spell dmg from that and blood frenzy + 400. I don't see a point in running Betty when the cliff racer will proc your ultimate passive and add 100-400 weapon and spell damage

I agree, is awesome Enchanted Growth for burst heals, as it can also heal others. I parse 65k on a trial dummy, and can stand in as a healer doing vet dlc dungeons.
65k on trial dummy isn't good. These Oakensoul one bar builds can do so much better than that. My version of the one bar Sorc can do 84k on the dummy, has a burst heal that heals others too, has a shield and 20k resistances. My one bar Necro does 80k DPS, has a burst heal that heals others and is tanky. Working on my own one bar warden now...Still leveling him up but I'm sure I can get him to 80k+ as well.
Screaming cliff racer is trash compared to wall. Shock glyph/concuss already puts minor vuln (5% more damage). Arctic Blast outheals everything in the green balance tree, and group heals aren't generally needed from dps. I parse 84k and only have to hit 3 buttons. That's without using my ult. Can get almost 100k when using all my buttons. Or, I could switch my "dead" buttons to heals and barely lose any damage.
@@Titansdragon75 What skills and CP are you running? I threw together a one bar Warden and it's only hitting 79k on dummy. Still leveling the skills to max, so that could be part of the issue. But interested to know what combo has been successful for you.

I know he's trying to make these simple but missing out on more DPS by throwing inner light on there. Just throw another damage skill on there. Its one bar, it's already simple and we don't need the extra Magicka. One more damage skill puts out more DPS than a tiny bit more Magicka. My one bars I throw together myself all do 80k +.
@Midnight Soul Band I said vcr. Not vcr3. I also said it's up to the raid lead in vcr, who most likely wouldn't allow it. Obviously, no one would bring it into the hardest content in the game 🙄
@Midnight Soul Band Clearly, you've never done VCR+3 Trifecta or score push. Gryphon Heart, Planesbreaker, and Swashbuckler Supreme are currently the hardest things to get.
I find with me this doesn't work at all poor dps score. Found much better have more harder hitting builds for beginners this one just won't work hasn't for me anyway
Anyone have an actual parse dps number? I know with a lightning staff it won't show as high as others single target builds but it is nice to have a starting point. I really like the Oakensoul and lightning staff builds, I have a magplar and a magsorc buil similar and they hit like a truck.

Number 1 rule for every build: Do NOT put any skill on the bar that you do not intend to frequently use in your rotation. Unless you are using it to expose stealthed enemies in PVP, do NOT use Inner Light. It's useless.

The written Rotation section talks about blast bones and detonating siphon. I belive those are Necromancer abilities not Warden skills.
Saw one for lazy bones that had a note about backbar maelstrom staff.

@@Valmont187 Storm Master, Sergeants, Oakensoul...Wall, Detonating Siphon, Blastbones, Skeletal Archer (flex) and Rendering Flesh (burst heal). Hits around 80k on the dummy.

What I been looking for but Ice staff is better because it give you shield and healing.
Don't need either with Oakensoul. You're giving up tons of damage and AOE not using a lightning staff.

Mhmmm. I've always thought of Wardens as ice staff only users, due to their passive giving them 12% from wielding one.

The khajit does so much more damage on the one bar easy sorc honestly I do not see why you would go high elf. I suspect it's the same on the warden.

High elf is the best dps race only by 1% compared to dark elf Khajit doesn't do more damage

only concern is saying this build is for any content, is I'd contend that ncr and vcr 1bar builds don't wont due to specific mechs requiring 2 bars
Ncr you just walk away from the group. Vcr, it's up to the raid lead.
