You make it sound like vamp was something more than a to choice that even at its most basic still makes your actual ability drop a good deal....

Vampires got nerfed to the ground because of ppl like you claiming shit is OP.
I've just about checked out of ESO. I'm watching from the sidelines, and I'm glad it's getting better. I wish they had done this many years ago.
Honestly I will say for as much as people have pointed out that The Arcanist drop didn't really revive the game even if it isn't necessarily the death of the game, I think it does at least show that for a while they're at least there was a good portion of people who did check it out anytime soon, I think people will start to see and hopefully zos will continue with releasing actually content heavy updates in between serious bug fixing and balancing set the community actually backs up and not just whatever the fuck they think we'll get them more money where did they keep this up then I think we might see the player base start to come back find me at least acknowledging that zenimax changed since the update 35 drama
Buff the damage of vampire drain. Maybe even make the claw attack has a ranged option
Would rather they change vampire drain completely. It makes the gameplay slower.

In my opinion vampire drain should be a healing skill for vampires. So they should boost its healing. Also add stun or root in it. To make it actually viable. As it right now it's not much use.

ngl i after reading what blood mist was gonna be, i thought it was gonna be a like you had to dash and do damage when you arrived and got a heal over time based on that, but it giving you this cool blood pool that follows you is alot better then i expected. it actually does pretty decent dps too, making it a really fun little skill. I'm really liking this new patch.
Doing vampire on a heavy armor nightblade is looking More and More alluring.
Thank god no one complains about WWs this patch lol.

I miss the bats ultimate. Not everyone wants to look disgusting and grow huge. I haven't been on in 3-4 years. My Vampire girl 🧛♀️ may have to put up the fangs and reminisce the past 💔

They need to nerf speed not give more ways to get it.. you got Dks running faster then any class in the game and hit like a truck while running serpent mythic 😪

ive been a vampire on my main for all those years..iam so happy rn i can solo veteran dungeons with my dps pve build and this as backup heal
I've been hoping the vampire class would worth using in pve someday. Granted, I've taken a break from game since last summer so maybe I missed other updates.

Vampires were broken in pve for a good bit the best scores were using vamp toggles
cp campaign is allready broken with mara's balm + sea serpent coil combo but with this i won't go into it at all ...
Changing the mist skill is gonna make vampires get demolished in cyrodiil fam.
Since I couldn't find any UA-camr that has not done this so I'm going to do it I'm going to play as a vampire but only using Vampire Skills I imagine I'm going to die a lot but I'll find out.
Looks good, glad they are giving PvE Vampire something as that skill and being a vampire was essentially a negative in PvE. Definitely needs a better animation, even using the one from Skyrim's lord bat form would be cool as that was clean tbh.

Mist was better in pve when it provided the 75% reduction to everything with the Greymoor rework. Couple patches afterwards they changed it to only do that in pvp, horribly crippling it for any pve utility. Now they are doing this? Completely screwing the skill up from what it was supposed to be to being a shoddy copy of sorc streak?
Werewolves can now self synergy their feeding frenzy, get 10 secs of minor force and empower too with it
Great, so they keep screwing over the vampires and keep making werewolves even better? Wtf?
The amount of people here that haven't actually tried it are astonishing. It's worse than streak for mobility, it's worse than surge for healing, it's worse than hurricane for damage, and it's worse than old mist for tanking. This is coming from a Sorc main, it's fine and in fact a bit clunky.
Nothing against deltia, I love you brother, but obviously he's gonna hype it up for a short video like this. It's not nearly as powerful as the video makes it seem. It's definitely an awesome skill, but a lot of people will be dissapointed the moment they think this thing is some OP game breaking I win button.
Another way to make fights unkillable in PVP. Congrats ZOS.
A regular build will get a 2k tooltip out of this which means 1k in pvp... Further reduced by damage resistance. Basically, you get 400-600 healing every 2s. It's not as good as this video makes it out to be.
So what, screw fun and originality just because of PvP?
That said - All abilities should work differently in PvP and pve and have diff tooltips to match.

Good to hear. I hated that squishy Vampire theme that was going on. Nice to see that you know have much more controll about loosing and gaining health. Vampires should feel strong espacialy because of the huge downsides a level 4 Vampire has. Until now playing a lets say Necromancer Vampire (that would be my RPG approach) every Vampire skill you swap in - makes you weaker. i just play PVE so i don't know if it was different in PVP^^
I really dislike when something gets improved in the game and everyone who reports on it calls it "OP" didn't vampire get called lame and underpowered thanks to the reworking of the skills and stages and crap lately? This constant use of hyperbolic language is ridiculous. I think it is long deserved that vampires get an ability that effectively acts as a passive togglesble AOE blood drain. Feels really vampiric and helps to balance some of those hard hits to passive health recovery. You still can't take first damage worth a crap but that's ok. That's how it SHOULD be.
Honestly couldn't agree more. The hyperbolic language in ESO community online is at ridiciulous levels and the clickbaiting reasons are making it worse. Every build you see is "INSANE DAMAGE OMG 1 SHOT BUILD ZOS FIX THIS". Especially on build pages, every build has insane sustain and insane stats and insane damage. It's also causing people to think that their build is useless or when they expect it to be OP and it's just ok, they lose interest in the game.
Vampires are still lame and unplayable even with this minor change. 😒 it's the weakest skill line in ESO because of all the debuff with punishment for basically using any of the Vampire skills. Just a simple hit by fire takes the health bar down to nothing.

@J B I agree, that kind of "OP" language is what got the Vampires nuffed in the first place.
They should reduce stats of vamp ult scion and make it toggleable costing a certain amount of ultimate per second. That would be huge.
As argonian templar healer vampire it brings some hope back, i wonder if it's still viable.
Still super viable in pvp. Tons of people run vamp in there, especially nightblades.
@@mp5kirby Only for sneak passive... just like always. Vampire abilities are mostly garbage and mist was always the only one people were using.
@@JesiAsh in PVP it’s actually used for the 30% damage mitigation in stage 3. Of his is why everyone is so tanks.
This is amazing I just started a making my Vrising character in eso and needed a dash and life steal this is perfect for me.
The big question is this: while blood mist is active, is it still considered a channel and will work with the high elf racial that reduces dmg during a channel? This might make it more viable for high elf vamps again using sated fury if it price the racial after using it
It seems to act more as a buff rather than a channel.

tbh I think you should have access to more passives the healthier you are because a fully fed vampire would be stage 1 not stage 4

Wish they'd make the rest of the vampire abilities more viable. Not op like this, though I do like the way the mist works more now in pts with it being less of a gimmick and more of a tool, but this is the one ability that still had some viability, I don't know why they focused on it

With the fire damage aspect of vampire, Bretons and dark elves are great choices to mitigate some of the extra fire damage one would be taking.

The flame damage taken matters little if you're stage 3 vampire. The mitigation scales linearly to your current health pool and goes up to 30%, it almost negates the flame damage taken you get. That's not including any other modifiers you might be having as well
W..wait..Blood Mist now keeps its dps and hot active even after you leave it now. So I can be fighting like normal, while doing the aoe secondary damage, and self heal for 20 seconds? well...I need to consider a few things.
all those blood mist pools are going to make pvp even more laggy especially on console
Everyone will get the vampire skill line. The mist teleport will be ditched in favor of the healing morph. Plus the archanist class will give you a better teleport and who knows how op the morphs will be. Now any class will be unkillable in pvp. Heavy armor, resto staff, vamp, arcanist. It's gonna be the new trollish build after the warden

And why is it that vampires don't have a whole bar for their skills like werewolves but they have to choose between if the want to use other skills or the vamp ones
Maybe cause werewolf is a transformation meant to use only those kinds of abilities, turning you into a feral killing machine. And WW only have their poison weakness while transformed, so you don’t even have to use it at all. The trade off for vampires being able to use their skills at any time, independently of a transformation, is that they have bigger penalties ALL the time, especially the higher the stage you wanna go with it. Be happy your WW is OP and has no drawback. Anytime you want to take extra fire damage (which most of the npcs use) and increased resource cost, and lose your health regen to make WW more independent of its transformation, go ahead and ask ZOS to screw yours up too. Quite complaining and be happy.

Same. I’m still disappointed over the necromancer class tbh I was expecting to be able to summon hordes of minions and even trade their lives to heal my character and more actual necromancer stuff but we just get one skeleton which isn’t much of a necromancer I think it could do with a rework
I think they should make Blood Mist's heal trigger only off a single closest target (similar to how weapon enchants only affect a single closest target with wall of elements), otherwise this is too insane. lmao

Hey Deltia, the Magicka Necromancer PvE written guide has a flaw; you put Elemental Susceptibility (Destruction Staff) and Stampede (2 handed) in the secondary bar at the same time 🙏
Also, that build being a magicka but with dual wield to melee hitting, wouldn't it work better with Zaan?
Being a vampire is good but not better.
Vamp was already OP, which is rather hard to debate considering it makes literally every build stronger (unless you rely on spamming vigor every second I guess? Idk does any competent player ever run out of resources outside of 1vX/duel context in the current state of the game?). And instead of making it less of a default choice they decide to buff it. Pair it up with stygian for insane weapon damage when coming out of stealth.... stygian used for be a nightblade set but with this new change its gonna be viable for every class.
How mist form doesn't proc it. You might be able to with the sprint passive but that's stage 4 and imo not practical

No class can be really good at one thing, they all gotta be good at everything and if a class lacks certain skills then you got weapon skills and guild skills and vamp and werewolf that will make you just like everyone else. Thus is why I stopped playing and whenever I get the itch I check out a video and see zos is going futher down the everything must feel the same rabbit hole and whatever urge I had to play just dies

the Vampire skill is called mist form and it use bats wait no thats the old Vampire skill when playing Vampire was good then they removed all of the old Vampire skills for trash new skills they should let the players pick old Vampire skills r new i pick old Vampire skills and a lot of Vampire players that Quit when the removed the old Vampire skills will come back and pick old Vampire skills that is why they dont play anymore

Hmm I wonder what the actual heal potential is considering healing is halved in Cyrodiil.
If you look at the dueling clip, the healing is the same as it will be in cyrodiil because Battle spirit applies to duels. So those 600-800 ticks are what it will be in pvp
