don't feel bad Adam I thought skelly quest was in Stormhaven lol so when I got the skelly poly in my EU I had to look it up same as you did lol #ThxUESP
I just started playing yesterday and I’m blown away by the amount of content and quests and locations they have added into this game. I haven’t bought anything either other than the base game and there is still so many things to do and level and collect. I never played it before because people said it wasn’t like the mainline series but I finally caved when I saw it was on sale for 4.98 on my Steam and I have to say it’s been very very fun so far. I’m gonna play as much as I can until I have to buy another expansion for more content. There is apparently over a 1000 hours of gameplay in this and endless dungeons, so that also blows my mind. Very impressive.
One quest line I would add to this list is the Thieves Guild quest line. It gives you a free fence assistant which is really handy if you like to do a lot of pickpocketing and stuff like that.
agreed!!! it took me so long before i fully delved into my thieves guild skill line out of boredom after i finished the story months before hand. bottom line my mind was blown that was a thing lmao
If you have access to the thieves guild, you should activate it on every character as early as you can. It allows you to loot thiefes troves, which can give you a decent amout of gold for beginners. (When there are stolen goods inside, it is 400+ gold undependently on your level.)
Note that for the Undaunted pledges, ever since One Tamriel (about five years ago), you can go to ANY of the alliance capitals to pick up the pledges - you do not need to go to the Undaunted enclave of your own faction. Wayrest in Stormhaven has the undaunted that is closest to the wayshrine, although Mournhold is generally more convenient than the other capital cities for almost everything else that you might want to do at the same time (e.g. if picking up guild daily quests).
Yes!! Thank you, thank you, thank you. I wish more videos were done like this. I think there are a lot more individuals playing ESO solo nowadays. And if you're a beginner like me having all the information you just laid out for us is crucial! Thank you again. I truly appreciate your time and the excellent video.
Thanks Brah! Just put a skill point into Continuous Attack to boost my mount speed. Great tip! Also working on opening up the secret sections of the Hall of the Lunar Champion so that info was timely as well! Great content!
A questline that I think should always be done ASAP is the questline that unlocks the Psijic skill line. This gives you access to the Psijic Portals that will sometimes appear instead of runes.
Hey Adam, great vid. You missed my faves, Stibbons quest line and Yaryn and his sister. I really enjoy the recurring characters that pop up in different zones. There response always differs depending on which quests you have done. Really enjoy your vids. Excellent info. Cheers.
in regards to the undaunted dailies u missed the delve quest giver in the small building and u can start doing those and earning undaunted xp as soon as leaving the tutorial, the reward coffer is just vendor trash imo but the fact u can start earning 15 undaunted xp per day (more if u get others shared) 41 levels b4 u can pick up the pledges makes these well worth doing, great informative video for new and older players
This... I was levelling up a new toon, I was doing all repeatable quests I could for exp on said skill lines, I got FG to 7, MG to 3, and undaunted never unlocked the skill tree, I forgot to check since I wasn't using any of the skills from that tree, it wasn't until I did the initiation quest that I saw I unlocked the skill tree... all the quests I did in the region were wasted experience (good loot at least).
There's a quest in Dashaan that gets you Mother's Sorrow lightning staff. I'd recommend doing this one when you are LVL 50 CP 160 on an alt because there's chances that you went through it on your first time.
Man I am almost 300 cp on my main character as a newer player and I had no idea about the companion quest until now. I thought I could only get a companion from the crown store. Thank you.
Great video, would definitely do crafting writs before lvl 50, it helps you lvl crafting faster, you get intricate items to decon and there is a chance to get gold mats
For those of us who play the game entirely for the story, it's not a bad idea to go over this exact topic, but from the perspective of what are the coolest missions to do with the coolest visuals and story
That's why I clicked the video. I was thinking it would be 'good' quest lines with interesting stories. This did remind me of why I stopped enjoying MMOs though. It's all about min/max and getting the best rewards and less about story and what's fun (for me). Some people enjoy working toward rewards, but I like stories and gameplay. I'll stick to single player adventures.
Yeah, I'm not really playing to be the best. I'm playing for the escapism / immersion. I'm coming from WoW where there is definitely more emphasis on end game, best gear, meta builds, pvp rank, achievements, etc. ESO is a lot more beautiful in terms of graphics, story lines of quests, and all these little RP/immersion details. I've enjoyed it immensely, and haven't had any of the end game meta peer pressure that you get with WoW. I'm just enjoying a beautiful world and story.
Writs also make for some good XP if you're leveling up, not just if you're 50 in a crafting spec. It's the same with an area's daily. Marrowind's daily quests in particular are easy and gives you 2x-10x the XP of a quest turn in at-level
The crafting writs money reward doesnt depend on your crafting skill but on your crafters level. The difference is, that you cannot get master crafting writs as a reward until you are a skilled crafter. The big one backdraw to those quests is, that you really want to have the crafting bag from eso plus. Otherwise it is a pain to juggle around with the materials.
Writs are way, way under-rated by new and intermediate players. 7 writs will bring in around 4500 gold per day per character. They take less than 5 minutes for all 7. This doesn't include any gold mats that you could sell. Its amazing how many people don't max out crafting in ESO. Its so effortless.
I wouldn’t say it’s effortless, learning all the traits for all the different gear takes days or months to research. You need some of these to do the writs. I’m working on grand master crafting right now and I’m so close! I guess it’s useless but it’s just something I’ve wanted to do so I’m going for it. Hope all is well.
I would add on to the pledges is that at lvl 10 you can you go to davons watch in ebonheart and go talk to the npcs in the tent to the right of the daily writ turn in to start lvling undaunted sooner.
You can do the writs before you even get to max crafter level. I believe you don't get as much gold from the quests but any little bit helps when you are low level.
Great video and I learnt some great stuff from you there. However playing on ps4 I 'wish', there was a way to no what % has been done when I need to abandon a quest to make space for another😂
My suggestion, put some timestamps for people to check when and of what quests u r speaking about Tons of people out there with disabilities like sight or etc might not be interested in listening to all. So u could do it more user friendly. Any case ty for the video
Thanks Brah! Great vedio and very informative. Being a new player, these type of vedios gives me more options and also helps plan or decide what to do next :) The polymorph and the house quest was something new I learned today. Thanks for creating such contents.
Daily crafting writs also have a 1 in 8 chance of dropping material surveys regardless of character level. You'll need to give them to a character with full crafting skills who can will get best yields harvesting them and refining the proceeds. While it still takes time and RNG, this is easily the best way to get purple and gold upgrade materials. Writs of course can also generate up to 7k gold per day and simply spending money is the second best way. Some players routinely make 50k+ gold per day just by doing crafting writs on all nine characters (or more). At current prices they could afford to gold up a weapon or heavy piece every two days and a light or medium piece every five. Jewelry is of course another kettle of slaughterfish...
Awesome video! Any favorites (aside from main quest line) to acquire skill points? I’m in need as my crafting & skrying grow, my performance in combat suffers. Would prefer having fun questing & dungeons to acquire skill points rather than run around collecting skyshards/doing delves.
Public dungeon group events and group dungeon quests are probably the fastest. You can check which group events you have completed in the achievements tab or with an addon (don't know the name).
For the free house, do I have to start the 'Main Quest' line in order to do the 'Queens' questline? Or can I just pick it up without need to start the game's main quest line?
- Since you already mentioned Elswyr, The (free) inn-room from Rimmen in Northern Elyswyr is one of the best in the game. Teleporting outside of the room drops you very clos to the towns wayshrine. So it is basicly 1 loading screen less, if you want to save on money that you would need to spend to teleport from anywhere to a shrine. - Dont ignore the old main quest. It unlocks not only Coldharbour as a region (good for hunting specific daedra daily endevours) but also the Soulmagic skillline from the World Magic section. The passiv from it, to automaticly fill empty soulstones on killing monsters, is almost a must have for any character.
This is going to make me look like such a knob (which I am). When in the blacksmith one clothes crafting table when you go to hose the style (high elf, orc, etc…) how do you collect the ores that you need to be able to craft? I’ve got lots of iron ore and hide to craft things just none of the style or things. And what are they actually called
bro'... I did the "free" house, and it's indeed a beautiful house, but what you fail to mention, is extremely hard and tedious to do it, A LOT of work and grinding, so don't say it's easy, or "free" because it's not... you work your behind for it A LOT...
Major bummer the way they monetize this game and make it nearly impossible to access all this content when you own the expansion but have to buy specific dungeon and area dlc
Lol ESOs quests are very generic. Some of the worst quests in any game much less in all MO. The stories are great, but the quests are fetch this, kill this many of x, talk to so and so, oh no, he was antagonist the whole time 😂😂. WoWs quests are at least fun, flying on a dragon, operating some machine, ESOs stories are great as are the rewards sometimes, the quests are boring, easy and very repetitive.
As a new player, I dont understand why people say the questing is so good. So far its just been running in circles pressing interact. Its like the definition of click on the red dot simulator. Fuck this game. If anyone can help I am doing the main quest and got to the valley of blades quest. The prophet spawned me a portal and the game says i have go through portal to valley of blades. So i go through it and the portal takes me to cold harbour. I get out the portal and run and it directs me back to the portal tells me to go back through it to get to valley of the blades and it takes me back to harbour. Basically it keeps directing me through the portal without me ever getting to the actual fkn mission. Im logging off this game now. If anyone can help please let me know, but it has ruined the game for me as i cant progress. Also the map on this game is god awful i cant find anywhere it is an absolute eyesore. Loved playing this game for about 2 days and now im just getting angry and frustrated with it.
Old vid but this is clickbait, with how terrible the questing system is & how shitty the quest markers are in this game along with quest that are completely bugged and refuse to let you turn them in. Its 💯 % possible to miss every damn quest because of terrible ingame mechanics and piece of shit devs who made this game.
I can't do Soulslike games. Literally can't. My joints are slow and shit. Elden Ring is a different game than ESO, both great games in their own rights. Different strokes for different folks!
@Incapacitating Strike How DARE you tell me not to...um... wait, what is it, exactly, that you're telling me "no" about? I wanna know just how *mad* I'm supposed to be! 😁

Thanks for watching! Which quests do you recommend for players to do?
The main quest for Southern Elsweyr, my personal favourite
All quests. I chose a zone and complete all the quests for that zone
If you're not completing every quest in the game then you're a filthy casual 😂
don't feel bad Adam I thought skelly quest was in Stormhaven lol so when I got the skelly poly in my EU I had to look it up same as you did lol #ThxUESP
Any issues about being a casual player or what???
I always do the first Summerset quest and then unlock the Psijic skill line. Then you can see Psijic portals for the extra loot
Same for me. The psijic skills are great for every build and the extra loot portals are so good for completing sets or making money
And the handy ultimate ofc for pvp comrades.
That’s exactly what I’m doing now and it’s just random lol. I have no idea what I’m doing just randomly questing
Same , look for me I am Psijic Buddha Oda ps4
Awesome tip. I’m doing that today.

I got the Skeleton Morph, Started the Antiquarian Cicle, HUGE thanks man!
There is a quest, kinda hidden, in Blackwood that will give you a Bogdog pet for completing it.
What quest is this? I love questing in Blackwood
Name?
The Bog Dog is acquired by completing the Lost in the Wilds achievement in Blackwood
I dead had no idea but I ended up having it already must’ve done it
A questline that I think should always be done ASAP is the questline that unlocks the Psijic skill line. This gives you access to the Psijic Portals that will sometimes appear instead of runes.

Makes quests easy.

There should be more of those kind of quests directing you to play certain content and rewarding you with mounts, houses and other cool cosmetics :].
There's a quest in Dashaan that gets you Mother's Sorrow lightning staff. I'd recommend doing this one when you are LVL 50 CP 160 on an alt because there's chances that you went through it on your first time.
We need more secret unlock videos.. Awesome just got my skeleton skin... Thanks
the seals of endever should also be on here, cause that allows you to get a cool mount of your choice when you get enough/ when its for sale.
PvP quests are best. Warrior yourself up and get taken care of.... A Great Channel and such useful direction! TY.
Man I am almost 300 cp on my main character as a newer player and I had no idea about the companion quest until now. I thought I could only get a companion from the crown store. Thank you.
I thought the same until a guild mate pointed it out to me and showed me the quest.
You can get a class or Armor system to switch from being a tank to healer or DPS ok the fly. Also free.
You can’t even buy companions in the crown store lol wut
Also, the Psijic skill line is handy to start for to goodies you find in Psijic portals; same with a high pickpocket chance.
I love your video's bud. Thanks so much. After my booster shot I felt so sick I could not even game. Now I feel better.
Great video, would definitely do crafting writs before lvl 50, it helps you lvl crafting faster, you get intricate items to decon and there is a chance to get gold mats

Yes
I thought you got the skeleton polymorph from a cold harbor quest.
Wait, you get that big ass house from a quest? I've been living in a freaking 1 room apartment since I started a year ago.
Great video thanks 😊
Hey brah nice video as always :) Just one question : How can we send u fashion pictures ? Is it on discord ?
Great video Brah!!!!
I just got a triune ring for completing a fetch quest in the deadands from nass
For hall of lunar champion for the house do you need to buy any certain DLC to access the mission?
For the free house, do I have to start the 'Main Quest' line in order to do the 'Queens' questline? Or can I just pick it up without need to start the game's main quest line?
Great video
That house is epic.

PS. I feel like a dolt. Raynor & Kerith Vanos. And all the places Raz shows up.

I’ve got lots of iron ore and hide to craft things just none of the style or things. And what are they actually called
You can buy those stones for style from an npc near those stations, adamantine for High elf, it's different for different races.
when you do quests watch out for urns there are often these stones in that urns so you dont have to buy them
I wish there were more ways to get transmute crystals. I dont pvp and running 5 random dungeons a day gets old quick.
I have done all this quest lol
What outfit is that?
Lauriel lament is good
bro'... I did the "free" house, and it's indeed a beautiful house, but what you fail to mention, is extremely hard and tedious to do it, A LOT of work and grinding, so don't say it's easy, or "free"
because it's not... you work your behind for it A LOT...
Major bummer the way they monetize this game and make it nearly impossible to access all this content when you own the expansion but have to buy specific dungeon and area dlc
All I want is an enjoyable quest with a decent story. I don't care about anything else.
Though you need to buy DLCs to do some of these🙄
Lol ESOs quests are very generic. Some of the worst quests in any game much less in all MO. Is Morrowind in the base game now??
Yes + the Imperial City DLC. You just have to get them from the in-game crown store.
As a new player, I dont understand why people say the questing is so good. So far its just been running in circles pressing interact.
Its like the definition of click on the red dot simulator.
Quests from offline elder scrolls games are actual quests.
These quests are just a book on tape with walking in between.
I dont care what the "story" is not gameplay.
A quest that is just talk to npc 1 then talk to npc 2 then talk to npc 3 etc etc is not a quest that belongs in a game. Its not gameplay. Its just walking and talking.
its literally like any other elder scrolls game, talk to npc 1 2 and etc go do thing then talk to npc 1 2 etc
For the elsweyr home it's the wrathstone dlc to unlock the first tablet not moongrave fane, wtf
You have to do Lair of Maarselok and Moongrave Fane dungeons.
Please don't call them undaunted dailies they're undaunted pledges because it confuses people as there are actually undaunted daily quests
Are all of these on Xbox too ?
Xbox sucks
@@Markosbourne24 wow you’re cool 👌🏻
