So now we know that Kat is trustworthy to take us on a mystery walk. Tunnels and bridges and gorgeous country. The River Wye is very pretty, and you all had too much fun with the England/Wales border! Just loved Tintern Abbey, and so cool that is were brass was first made. Ceri, once again, you are not taking your history lessons seriously! The drone shows a beautiful landscape along Offa's Dyke. The beech and yew trees, and the whole forest was lovely. Never knew there was an arboreal mouse; so interesting. Hope they are making a comeback. Awesome walk and video!
Good afternoon and thank you for you brilliant comment, really appreciated and pleased you enjoyed the video so much. We have total trust to follow Kat, her route selection and eye for an intresting landmark never fails 🤗 It was a fun filled day from start to finish, what we couldn't show was how many times Dave and Kat jumped scared me in the tunnel! ❤🤭 I promise was listening honest....just glad there wasn't a test at the end! 🤓🧐 We are already planning a return trip, very much only the tip of the iceberg! The mouse facts were great, and to think in the name of H&S this little fella is now in danger! Fingers crossed a recovery is afoot! Thanks again guys, have a great weekend, looking forward to your next adventures, Ceri and Kat 🏴🏴❤☕👍

@@TeaInValhalla Hi Ceri and Kat. Good morning/Evening to you. That was great to see what they had done with the tunnel. Just packing one of my packs ready for an overnighter in the bush at one of the Bibbulmun track shelters, trying out some new gear. 10+ Kilometer walk in and the same back out the next day. Combining a couple of video shoots into one night out. Where I will be camping it like being back on the prehistoric era, keep and eye out for a dinosaur lol All the best to you both. Keep them video's coming. Clive.
Wow and hello hi to you in Virginia, pleaed to meet you ❤👍 so pleased you enjoyed the hike, glad to share it with you. Thanks for the comment and support, have a great week, Ceri and Kat ☕❤👍🏴🏴
Ah thanks so much, really appreciate your support and feedback, means alot! Glad you enjoy the videos, couldnt agree more, stunning place! Have a great week, Ceri and Kat 🏴🏴❤👍☕
Good afternoon and happy Monday Linda, wasnt it great, we had a ball on this walk! Really really pleased you enkyed the film and thanks for the editing nod, can be a long process. Have a great week, Ceri and Kat 🏴☕🏴👍❤
Ceri & Kat, love Greenways and the idea of repurposing old railway lines for walking or cycling, especially ones with a kilometre long tunnel (with bats🦇)👍👍 Loved all the history and that abbey did look huge! Also enjoyed the international messing about😊 The Offa's Dyke Path looked to be fantastic walking through all that beautiful mixed woodland and green spaces🌳😊👍
Good morning and happy long weekend Gerry! The tunnel was incredible and so great that it was bat friendly, plenty of signs of activity throughout ❤🦇 The Abbey was amazing, we will definitely revisit and explore this place in its entirety. The Acutal route was incredible so lush and green, very popular too. Have a great weekend and thanks for the support, Ceri and Kat ❤☕🤗🌊👌
love the way your tunnel is so dark....we have many tunnels up here that are so well lit up....give the dark tunnels any day....cant get over the size of those leaves...im guessing they will be the subject of my dreams tonight
Afternoon Steve, wasnt it cool! There was another tunnel a bit further up the path too, fenced off and a lot less welcoming, maybe a future project for the Greenway. Hope the giant plant didn't haunt your dreams, catch you soon, Ceri and Kat 🏴🏴👍☕❤
Two of my most favorite things to get in to work and see on a Monday morning... Tea in Valhalla and a south Wales location. Time for a coffee and a 25 minute late start to work... hahaha. Nice one guys. So I thought I new this area very well and then I see that there's a 1KM long tunnel that I've never even heard of... I simply have to go there asap now. Cheers both!
The tunnel was amazing! Just try no to visit on a day Kat is in Dyke pushing and fighting mode, you'll ge in trouble! ❤🤭 good morning and happy Tuesday, really hope we helped start your week on the right note, please do try visit the tunnel of you get a chance, from the adventure centre to the bridge was a very flat family family section. Thank you so much for your great feedback and support, really appreciated, have a great week, Ceri and Kat ❤☕🏴🏴👍
Good afternoon and happy Monday Daz, Andy! Hope you guys are good and well. Pleased you enjoyed the video, plenty of camping opportunities to be had along the track too, we followed a couple who were walking and camping large sections of the route, thanks for the comment and support, really appreciated, have a great week, Ceri and Kat 🏴❤👍☕🏴
Noticed Chris JBs comment about droning under the Wye bridged so had to watch it again as it was something I had missed...great droning, what a nice piece of film and loved all the details on second viewing
Thanks Bill, trying where and where I can to get some drone practice in, taking if under the bridge was scarier than going over the cliff at Portland, had a nice practice up in an empty field too the other night 🛸👍❤☕
Evening Tim, that's really nice to hear thanks man, is it wrong I wanted he tunnel you be longer!? Have a good week, catch your soon, Ceri and Kat ❤🏴🏴🤗👍
Hi Ceri and Kat!😊👋 we are just catching up on your videos! We have been away making videos / memories😊👍. Really enjoyed this video guys! It's so interesting walking the borders between England and Wales! You can feel the history and can only imagine what has gone on in times gone by! Some lovely drone footage too! We love walking the offas dyke, we were up there in June. Dor mice are so special! Let's hope their numbers continue to grow😊. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely hike with us guys, take care. Shell and Pete😊👍
Great walk and nice to see a part of the offas dyke path its one of two of the national trails I have still to do to get my gold medal for completing all the national trails, although not sure when will get round to doing it as have other plans further afield for next year, but will get round to it at some point, thanks
Goood afternoon and thank you, pleased to share this section with you, we would wager it would be a great trail to walk, hopeful you get a chance to tackle it in the not so distant future. Have a great weekend, thanks for the comment and support, really appreciated, Ceri and Kat ❤☕👍🤗
awesome day out guys the wye valley looks a great place to explore travelled past on numerous occasions. Tintern looks similar to Fountains Abbey by Harrogate we visited a few weeks ago. atb daz
Good morning Daz and thank you so much for you comment and support, really appreciated ❤🏴🏴 We will definitely return to explore more in this area, was a first time for us. Imagine you could get some great distance hikes done here, there was a couple we camping kit at one point made us tho, oooooh! 🏕🤗 Have a great weekend, Ceri and Kat 🏴🏴☕
Enjoyed that guys, Tintern is a lovely place to visit and the hike/walk you did looked really enjoyable, thanks for sharing also Karen’s grandson was up at the Diving centre a few weeks back paddle boarding 😁👌👍
Good morning guys, we hope you are both well! We desperately need to catch up on your most recent videos 🏴❤🤗 really appreciated your comment and feedback, it's a wondeful place and somewhere we will try explore more in the future. The diving centre looked great! A huge variety of things to do and really well run too. Have a great week, Ceri and Kat ❤👍🏴🏴🤗🥰🦇
Hahah good morning Rachel, thanks so much for your kind words and support, pleased you enjoyed the video and bridge bants lol! Being a duel nationality I was ok, Kat would have had to have been ejected from Wales tho, her Englishness was obvious later in the video 🤭 have a great week, Ceri and Kat ❤🏴🏴👍
Absolutely brilliant guys 👍👊... what a hike that was and that tunnel was amazing!!!! Great you're actually able to go through it !!.. also Absolutely loved the Abbey and the yew tree !!! Really great video as always..... I have saud it before and I'll say it again.... you guy know how to make an adventure video..... well done great watch... take care 🤙 Simon.
Good morning Simon, you are to kind sir thank you, we love that you love our wee adventures, we really enjoyed this one too and was worried it wouldn't reach as many people for not being "wow" enough, the tunnel alone was worth the trip and we cnat wait to get back and explore the Abbey more. Thank you so much for your kind words and support, really appreciated, have a great week, Ceri and Kat ❤👍☕🏴🏴🤗
Hahahha good afternoon Lottie, we are pleased to hear that, and highly recommend visiting this place too! Maybe need to buy a bigger notebook, more videos and places to add to that list coming! 🤭❤👍🏴🏴☕🦇
Absolutely gorgeous - AND, so well maintained. Glad to see that visitors are also respecting the area. Wonderful piece of history. Thanks for sharing my dear friends. Have a wonderful week. Stay safe and well.
Hello hi, it really was a well looked after area, dont think we saw any rubbish all day! Which I'm sad and embarrassed to say is a rare thing nowa days, so yes well done the Wye valley! Thanks so much for your kind words and support, have a great week, Ceri and Kat ❤🤗🏴🏴
wow that really is such a beautiful trail! You got a little bit of everything on that one! Very beautiful 😍 and I've never seen a water park like that before
Good evening and thank you, really pleased you enjoyed the video and glad to share it with you. We hope you and your travels are going well, the water park looked ace for the aqua lovers out there! Have a great week, Ceri and Kat ☕❤🏴🏴👍
Another great video guys👌 I'm sure I watched a documentary about the history of Britain and that Abbey was one of the first ever built. The weather was kind I see and I await your next camping adventure ☺️ Stay safe atb Taff 🤠👊 x
Evening Taff, thanks so much for your support and comments always appreciated 🏴❤☕🏴 the abbey was amazing as was all of this hike, we look forward to exploring more. Our Exped mat has been sent back, we are awaiting news of a replacement. We are hoping to get the tent out late Aug, early Sept ☕👍🤗 hope you are good and well, Ceri and Kat 🏕🤗
So great to see the mix of old and new.. I love the Abbey! Though it's damaged, it still shows signs of how the beautiful the place was. Thanks for sharing some historical facts too. Take care and have a great week ahead :-)
Hello Grace, thank you so much for your lovley comment and support, we really appreciate it 🤗❤ hard to imagine the abbey in its once former glory, but it must have been a sight! Glad you enkyed the facts too, it was a great day. Have a lovely end to the week, Ceri and Kat 🏴🏴🦇👍❤
Good Morning Ceri and Kat, hope you are both having a great week! With border hopping like that, it's only a matter of time before we see some border control! The Wye Valley looks like a special place enriched in history, some great information as always and what I expect to be a very accurate re-enactment of the Mercia - Welsh conflict 😂🤣 Thanks for sharing as well as the entertainment you give us!! 👍😁🙏☕
Good afternoon and hello hi Nathan, thanks as always for your great comment and support, really glad to share this wondeful place with you and super pleased you found our reenactment to be near 100% accurate and true to oldy worldly events! 🤔🤭 The Wye valley was great and we hope to explore more here in the future. Have a great weekend, Ceri and Kat 🏴🏴☕🦇👍
Well done Ceri and Kat on another fantastic video. Always safer to put your trust in a good lady to guide you to the end safely. Us blokes don’t follow instructions quite as well 😬. How cool was the Abbey. Looked very impressive. As Ceri has Welsh blood, he could have set up a little toll booth on that bridge 😆. Another beautiful walk. I must make an effort to get over and do some walking in Wales again soon 🙂💚👍
Good morning Anthony, a toll both! I absolutely should have, 50p or a cuppa tea ensure safe passage to wondeful Wales! Kat had kept this was a close guarded secret from us all week, it didn't disappoint, pleased you enjoyed it too 🤗 hope to get back soon ourselves to better explore the extensive Abbey! Have a great week, Ceri and Kat ❤☕👍🏴🏴
Really interesting and varied walk guys, thanks for this. Enjoyed learning about the Dyke and seeing the Abbey! good to see Dave back out too, good ole Dave. Thanks for the brilliant video SC
Good ole Dave indeed, fingers crossed for more group walks soon too! Pleased you enjoyed the walk and video m, the Wye valley had alot to offer and we cant wait to explore more, have a great week, Ceri and Kat ❤👍🤗🏴🏴☕
The tunnel was class and it's great to see the bats being protected. Also the mice loosing their habitats is a real shame but I hope going forward, more mindful decisions can be made and it does seem to be happening. The wildlife live in these outdoor spaces and we're just passing through. I really enjoyed this video, all the best for the week ahead 👍
Hello hi Rambling on, absolutely right, we are visiting the homes and spaces of wild life and we need to help and respect it where and where we can, we are hopeful that there is more awareness now than there ever has been, so fingers crossed for our wild friends ❤🤗 the tunnel alone was worth the trip, we cant wait together back and explore more of the wondeful Wye valley. Thank you again, pleased you enjoyed the video, have a great week too, Ceri and Kat ☕👍🏴🏴❤
Ooooh a surprise Ramble. That tunnel was awesome 👌 👏 🙌 also the village and Abbey. Thanks 😊 I love your walks! You guys do travel countrys so much I can't keep up lol 😆 😂 oooh nice drone footage!
Hahha good morning Raymondo, yes Kat is the gate keeper of walks and secret tunnels. Really pleased you enjoy the walks and places we take you, we try to mix things up and explore old and new 👍🏴🏴❤☕ have a great week, Ceri and Kat 🤗
Great video as always guys…….and nice flight under the bridge ! That tunnel looks super spooky…. Add a thunder and lightning storm at both ends and……um. Really enjoy joining you on your videos…. Look forward to the next. Take care both. Mark 🫖☕️🥛🥄🥄
Hello and good morning Mark, really pleased you enjoy our videos so much, really great to hear and helps encourage us to make and share more! The tunnel was incredible and would be heck scary in a thunder storm! We hope you are well and have a great week, best wishes, Ceri and Kat 🏴❤🏴👍☕
Such a cool hike through, particularly liked the tunnel and then of course to the bloody beautiful Tintern Abbey what a view for a pitstop, thanks so much for sharing, enjoying your content and your editing is on point too! :)
Hello and thank you, that's really kind to say, pleased you enjoy the videos and thanks for the editing support too! The tunnel and Abbey were something special, glad to have shared these places with you. Have a great weekend, Ceri and Kat 🏴👍🦇🏴☕
Looked a good walk guys. Beautiful Abbey. The tunnel reminds of our own Innocent Railway in Edinburgh. Got yis on the big telly. Having a UA-cam binge watch while I recover from Jab number 2 👍
Good afternoon Kevin, hope there were no I'll effect to jab no2, well done sir ❤👍 would love to get up an explore Edinburgh one day, Kat has some family up there somewhere so you never know! The Abbey was great and deserves a full explore and the tunnel too, there was another one disused that looked less welcoming. Catch you soon, Ceri and Kat ❤👍🤗🏴🏴
@@TeaInValhalla cheers guys. Felt rough up until lunchtime, then right as rain. Yeah defo get yourselfs up to Edinburgh. Be great to see yis Vlogging it. 👍
Hi you two lovely people. Another stunning walk. So much history, I've not learnt so much history and I did it as a gcse 😂😂. Great knowledge. Drone footage spot on. Great watch as always ATB Adam 🤜❤️💙🤛
Hahha hello Adam and thank you, really glad to share these adventures with you and help top up your GSCE knowledge too, there was alot of no fly zones in this area, so sadly didn't get the drone out too much, live and learn i guess. Hope you are well, catch you soon, Ceri and Kat ☕👍🏴🏴
Hey Kat, Ceri and Dave. What a fabulously fun informative and entertaining video. What a beautiful walk that was. Thoroughly enjoyed coming along with you all. Historical facts and great views too. Loved the Abbey and the tunnel. That Gunnera reminded me of when I was at horticultural college many moons ago when I used to hide under the one we had in the formal gardens in the rain. Great fun. Another superb installment in the adventures of tea in Valhalla. Have a great weekend guys 💗🥾
Awww Emz, a Gunnera you could hide under when it rained, wow!❤🌱💧❤ I feel you and Kat would he inseparable on a walk! Really pleased you enjoyed the video, Kat did us proud again in picking another interesting and green place to explore! We cant wait to get back and explore some more around here 👍🏴🏴 Our weekend was great thanks, been enjoying your social media as always especially the deer this morning! Have a great week, Ceri and Kat ❤🤗☕
@@TeaInValhalla ah she did so well didn't she. What an amazing place to go. Thanks for that we had a nice chilled weekend local walks in the rain and Sunday lunch. It was perfect. Hope you have a great week and I'm looking forward to your next adventure 💗 🥾
Good morning Kaat, isnt it brillaint something old been given a new lease of life and in such and environmentally friendly way too. Thanks for the love and support, really appreciated, have a great week, Ceri and Kat ❤👍☕🏴🏴
Hi both, the Wye valley is such a beautiful area, I've seen a lot of it on Marks channel Wye valley explorer. The tunnel is very cool, awesome to have bats in there 🥰 just watch out for falling guano 🤣 I do love an old railway ruins in the forest, we have a few up here in Cumbria. There looks to be some cool spots to stealth hammock camp along that route 😁🏕️ I do love a wobbly old bridge 🤣 great facts along the route as well as places to stop for a cuppa, and I loved the old abbey ruins 😍😍😍 we have sweetheart abbey near (ish) which I love to visit. Ooooooh old kiln ruins 😍😍😍 England, Wales, England, Wales, England, Wales 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Those leaves were mahooosive 😯 love tho old mull House too 😁 I see you have been practicing with the drone too, and are getting some cool footage with it 😁 some pretty cool old earth works, and the devil's pulpit gives a good peek through the trees 😍 always awesome to see signs of the doormouse 🥰 the activities center looked fun too 😁 all in all a beautiful walk 👏👍🥰 atb Paul 🙏🏕️🏕️🏕️😁
Good morning and happy humor day Paul! Thank you so much for joining us again and wow at your amazing comment! There was no smell of guuuuuuuuuano as Ace Ventura would say, but definitely signs of our batty friends 🦇❤ Really pleased you enjoyed the walk, it was a beautiful place and so much to see, Tinturn, the bridge and Abbey was something different and a little bit special, we cant wait ti get back and explore more 🗺🧭🤗 Thanks for spotting the drone work, I'm finding it tricky to know where and where I can fly it still and trying to incorporate it into the walks too, all good learning. Flying under the bridge was neat! Coming through the woods was lovley and there certainly was plenty of stealthy camp spots too 🏕❤👍🤗 Have a great end to the week, Ceri and Kat ❤🌞🏴🏴🦇
Hello Stephen and Yhana, thank you so much, that's really lovely to hear, thank you so so much! Really appreciate your support and feedback, have a great week, Ceri and Kat ☕👍🏴🏴🤗
What a lovely comment, great way to start our week, thank you so much. Really appreciate your support and feedback, glad you enjoyed the video and we are pleased to have shared it with you, have a great week, Ceri and Kat ☕❤🦇👍🤗
Love hiking through old train tunnels. I have a vid on my channel with a hike I did where the tunnel is 1 mile long, but no lights. (Blue Ridge Tunnel) So you have to use a headlamp. Pretty neat how the temperature is consistent year round no matter what the outside temperature is. I actually was a bit scared (went solo). But looks like all you guys enjoyed it. As always love all the architecture and history in your vids. Ya'll always do an outstanding job!
Good afternoon RVA, we will have to check that out, sou da reall cool! I do t do well in the dark, Dave and Kat scared me plenty coming through this one I assure you! Lucky for the down lights, but there were still creepy corners! Really glad you liked the video and found the walk and buildings interesting fo watch, really makes sharing these trips worth while. Hope you are having a good weekend, Ceri and Kat 🏴🏴☕👍🤗
Fun to join you on your walk and learn some history along the way! The Wye Valley is wonderful - fun to be in both Wales and England! I enjoyed seeing the Abbey ruins - hard to imagine what it was like back in the day- we don’t have any buildings nearly as old around here. Cool to learn about the Dyke too! Have a great weekend! 👍😊
Good morning Jennifer, thank you for joining us and taking the time to comment ❤ really appreciated. It really was wondeful, we had a great day from start to finish 🤗 the Abbey would have been glorious back in its hay days, a treat to see its ruin too. Somewhere we are keen to revisit. I had no idea about the Dyke either, Kat is brilliant when it comes to sharing information! Have a great week, Ceri and Kat ❤🏴🏴🤗☕
Excellent stuff guys. Your videos are now essential viewing in our house. We love the Wye Valley & have walked some of the sections that you followed but haven't done the full walk. We loved the tunnel. We've seen a few articles about it come up on Facebook but it was lovely to see it on video. Absolutely loved the humour. Both of you don't take yourselves too seriously just like us.LOL. The drone shot going under Brockweir bridge was ace. Take care guys & thanks for another smashing video. 🙂🙂👍👍
Good morning Martin, Michelle, thanks so much guys that really sweet of you to say! The Wye valley was awesome, I think Kat was aittle nervous that Dave and i wouldn't enjoy it, but she had nothing to worry about it was ace and i cant wait to get back! Lofe is to short, time and a place for serious and straight faced, and it's not when we get to have time together ❤👍🤗 The tunnel was great, there was another one further up too, untouched tho and fenced off. Maybe a future restoration project 🤔 hope you guys are good and well, catch you soon, Ceri and Kat ❤👍🏴🏴☕
Looks like a journey to the centre of the earth but nice to get out into the fresh air again and see the Abbey, which was great, ruined or not, I still love visiting those places. I did not know you knew so much about King Arthur, with the Romans a character that fascinates me. That was a long walk mind, 14.5 miles must have taken it out of you and one thing I do not fancy, is a Halloween Fest, my blood pressure would never be able to take t! Cheers Alan
Good morning Alan, you nailed that it was like we would imagine a visit to the centre of the earth, a real green lush treat! Sorry we couldnt get any closer or into the Abbey, maybe next time 🤗👍 Kat loves her history, it's especially nice when we get to walk through large sections of like this and you can almost see and feel the old worldly vibes and imagine maybe how and where things would be. We have Marlins cane on out lost of places to revisit, maybe after the school holidays we can take you ❤👍🏴 Hope you and the family are well, Ceri and Kat 🏴☕🤗
Okay, the song "Walk Like an Egyptian" immediately came to mind at your opener! :-) LOL...most of my hikes and outings I am totally clueless as usually always they are for the first time. Wales...England...Wales...no passport necessary! Very cool and good to hear that the bat population is being protected...many places here in Nova Scotia have been disturbed to the point where bats are no longer present and the white-nose syndrome has devastated the remaining populations. Otis and I really like these former rails to trails. Just always fascinated by the ruins and stone works...once actually contemplated becoming a monk...but that didn't happen! :-) Always enjoy your epic adventures for sure...take great care now...Bruce and Otis
Good evening Bruce, thanks so much for joining us on another adventure, I promise none was more confused by our adventures than me lol, Kat is the only one that ever really knows what is happening 🧐🤭 So important so protect the bats and mice, we would be in big trouble without our batty friends! 🦇❤ Interested to hear about your possible alternative life as a monk, not sure I could handle that. Thanks again for your support and feedback, really appreciated, have a great week, Ceri and Kat 🤗☕❤👍🏴🏴
Love this hike, the historical structures date back so far!! That's so amazing!! Love all the mountain/hill views too! Thanks for sharing this green space!! :-)
Hello hi and thank you for you feedback and support, really glad to share this wondeful hike with you. The old Abbey was something special hey and the surrounding hills and a valleys a treat to walk through. Have a great week, Ceri and Kat 🏴🏴🤗❤☕🌞
We did knock first, we presumed youd allow us to explore your back yard, maybe next time we could all play together. We will definitely be going back #unfinishedbusiness 🤗👍☕❤
@@BulldogBadger it is a date! I'm still learning where I cam and cant, maybe to cautious in my approach. Got paranoid with a police chopper at one point lol 🤣🤭👍☕
evening Cara, Want the tunnel great! we are already planning a return trip, sadly the areas i could fly the drone in were pretty limited, will see what happens next time. hope you are good and well, Ceri and Kat ❤☕👍✔
You always give us amazing and interesting uploads .this is soo awesome .nice to see wonderful nature ..landscapes ...absolutely perfect .thanks guys .good luck ;)(:
Hello and thank you again, really glad you find out videos intresting and pretty to watch. We really appreciate your support and feedback, have a great weekend, Ceri and Kat 🏴❤👍☕
Oooh, did you really fly your drone under the bridge? I'd've been on pins. I'd like a drone but I'm just far too gormless. Very informative re the Roman Offa's Dyke theory....that's a a new one on me. Hazel dormouse would be high on my list of UK mammals I'd like to see. Up here there aren't many places where they occur. Enjoy your week folks.
Hello Chris, thanks so much for your support and comment, really appreciated 🐹❤☕ Kat has been lucky enough to have been involved in surveys for the nice, they are up there on her list of favourite mammals, but she does favour reptiles! I am struggling with the drone atm, still very much learning the basics and finding it hard to incorporate into a day hike, will keep trying tho! Yes the bridge maneuver was my most daring to date, thank you. Thanks again, Ceri and Kat ❤☕👍🏴🏴
👍✋ Extra Good job🤝✌️ Wow. Great view, I love to see new places 👍❤️ Great movie Bravo 👋 And I have a new movie from a walk around the city 😊 Yours sincerely, DJ Janusz from Warsaw Poland 🇵🇱🙏✋
Hello DJ Janusz, really glad to share this wondeful place with you, pleased you enjoyed it. We will be sure to check our your channel too, have a great week, Ceri and Kat ❤👍☕🏴🏴
What a wonderful adventure amongst some amazing scenery. Loved the Abbey, just beautiful. What a joy it is being able to cross country borders in these Covid calamitous days 👌 Thanks for another fabulous tour. Happy and safe travels to you Ceri and Kat 🙏✌🍺
Good morning and hello Bernie, we hope you are well! We thought you would like the border hopping section 🤭 and pleased you enjoyed the scenery and Abbey too, we cant wait to explore more in the wondeful area. Have a great week, Ceri and Kat 🏴❤🏴👍☕🤗
@@TeaInValhalla I am so eager to hop a few borders myself I must say! ✈😁 Loving my time here in the East Kimberley, it will be all over in the blink of an eye. We shut down for the season on October 1st. Hope you get to explore more of the region, best wishes to you both ✌😊
Spooky tunnel, did it smell of the bats etc ? Last time I was in the Wye Valley I was canoeing on the river. Very badly I think as I remember struggling to go in a straight line and avoid the poor guys trying to fish 🤣
Hahahha ooh John we can picture you torpedoing fishermen in you or canoe, thanks for that! Thankfully the tunnel didn't smell, nice two way traffic system in place to avoid colliding with joggers, cyclists or fellow hikers. Thanks for the support, have a great week, Ceri and Kat 👍🏴🏴❤🌞
That tunnel is SO COOL! Completely 100% jelly that we don't have a 1km tunnel we can walk through like that. All we have is some caves made by massive rock slides, which are cool, but usually fairly short. When we eventually make it over to Whalengland we're going to have to do this! That abbey is in remarkable shape for a ruin, especially compared to the ones we've seen. Looks almost like it just needs a new roof in a few parts and they could open it back up! Doesn't take much thinking to figure why monks were into getting sauced does it? Well, first, the water wasn't always safe to drink, but alcohol was. Second, think of all the things they weren't allowed to get up to. If you were denied so much, and then someone was like, "How about a beer?" You'd take 3 or 4 wouldn't you? the drone is really adding a next level element to your videos guys, loving the aerial shots. The earthworks were a little underwhelming today, but we're betting they looked a bit more imposing shortly after they were built. Your historical reenactment made it much more entertaining.
Good morning JR, Aria, hope you guys have had a good weekend and touch wood few or no GP issues! The tunnel was immense and Kat had not let any hints out of the bag either, diving in front of ever sign learing upto it and not letting slip all week with her plans for this walk, we followed blindly and she lead us brilliantly ❤☕ We are already planning to head back over and explore more of this new area to us, the Abbey itself deserves a full explore, sadly a drone no fly zone there! Really pleased you think its adding something, I need to keep practising with it and am finding it tricky to find the right place or time to use it....still practice makes perfect ❤☕🤗 Yea the Dyke doesnt jump out at you in one go, much more of a slow burn, especially when you think of this distance to stretched and the fact it was dig out by hand and primitive tools of the time. Glad our highly precise reenactment helped capture some bonus history and humor 🤗👍🤭 have a great week guys, thanks for the comment and support, really appreciated, Ceri and Kat ☕❤🌞🏴🏴
Hello from Tyrol, you did another very interesting hiking tour. Is there really a bat colony in the Tidenham Tunnel and did you see the bats? Tintern Abbey was really impressive too. 👍👍👍 Greetings from Tyrol Andy
Hello Andy, thank you for your support and comments, pleased you enjoyed the video, we cant wait to get back and explore more if this area and the Abbey! 🦇❤ yes the tunnel is home to many bat colonies, it's a known hibernacula for Horseshoe bats, a very rare species and various other species too. Really good that It is so well maintained and restricted access times, have a good week, Ceri and Kat 👍❤☕🦇🏴🏴
We have total trust to follow Kat, her route selection and eye for an intresting landmark never fails 🤗
It was a fun filled day from start to finish, what we couldn't show was how many times Dave and Kat jumped scared me in the tunnel! ❤🤭
I promise was listening honest....just glad there wasn't a test at the end! 🤓🧐
We are already planning a return trip, very much only the tip of the iceberg!

Where I will be camping it like being back on the prehistoric era, keep and eye out for a dinosaur lol
All the best to you both.
Keep them video's coming.

The tunnel was incredible and so great that it was bat friendly, plenty of signs of activity throughout ❤🦇
The Abbey was amazing, we will definitely revisit and explore this place in its entirety.

You both do so well with providing some education and some laughs! The tunnels were super cool!
Great walk and nice to see a part of the offas dyke path its one of two of the national trails I have still to do to get my gold medal for completing all the national trails, although not sure when will get round to doing it as have other plans further afield for next year, but will get round to it at some point, thanks

Thanks for spotting the drone work, I'm finding it tricky to know where and where I can fly it still and trying to incorporate it into the walks too, all good learning.
I had no idea about the Dyke either, Kat is brilliant when it comes to sharing information! Have a great week, Ceri and Kat ❤🏴🏴🤗☕

Nice place happy weekend myfriend
Lofe is to short, time and a place for serious and straight faced, and it's not when we get to have time together ❤👍🤗
The tunnel was great, there was another one further up too, untouched tho and fenced off.
Sorry we couldnt get any closer or into the Abbey, maybe next time 🤗👍
Kat loves her history, it's especially nice when we get to walk through large sections of like this and you can almost see and feel the old worldly vibes and imagine maybe how and where things would be.
We have Marlins cane on out lost of places to revisit, maybe after the school holidays we can take you ❤👍🏴
Hope you and the family are well, Ceri and Kat 🏴☕🤗
Good evening Bruce, thanks so much for joining us on another adventure, I promise none was more confused by our adventures than me lol, Kat is the only one that ever really knows what is happening 🧐🤭
So important so protect the bats and mice, we would be in big trouble without our batty friends! 🦇❤
Interested to hear about your possible alternative life as a monk, not sure I could handle that.
The offas dyke path features in a few of my videos, it’s like you went exploring in my back yard 🤷♂️😱👏
We did knock first, we presumed youd allow us to explore your back yard, maybe next time we could all play together. We will definitely be going back #unfinishedbusiness 🤗👍☕❤
@@TeaInValhalla sure let me know next time your in the area, I will bring my drone and play out 👏😎
@@BulldogBadger it is a date! I'm still learning where I cam and cant, maybe to cautious in my approach. Got paranoid with a police chopper at one point lol 🤣🤭👍☕
@@TeaInValhalla If your using a mini and have an operator ID you can fly it pretty much anywhere you want as long as its not an airport 👍
Great video guys, think the Tunnel was the best bit. Offa's Dyke is a really beautiful route to walk, really enjoyed walking it a few years back.
evening Cara, Want the tunnel great! we are already planning a return trip, sadly the areas i could fly the drone in were pretty limited, will see what happens next time. hope you are good and well, Ceri and Kat ❤☕👍✔
Perfect..
Thank you so much Deepali, have a great week, Ceri and Kat ❤👍🤗🦇
👍✋ Extra Good job🤝✌️
Wow. Great view, I love to see new places 👍❤️
Great movie Bravo 👋
And I have a new movie from a walk around the city 😊
Yours sincerely, DJ Janusz from Warsaw Poland 🇵🇱🙏✋
Hello DJ Janusz, really glad to share this wondeful place with you, pleased you enjoyed it. We will be sure to check our your channel too, have a great week, Ceri and Kat ❤👍☕🏴🏴

One of my favourite comments ever, thanks Damian! Much to you and your Green Tree Python ❤👍☕🐍❤
What a wonderful adventure amongst some amazing scenery. Loved the Abbey, just beautiful. What a joy it is being able to cross country borders in these Covid calamitous days 👌
Thanks for another fabulous tour.

Thank you Bug B. Rocks, really pleased you enjoyed it, have a great weekend, Ceri and Kat 🏴🏴❤☕🤗👍
The tunnel was immense and Kat had not let any hints out of the bag either, diving in front of ever sign learing upto it and not letting slip all week with her plans for this walk, we followed blindly and she lead us brilliantly ❤☕
We are already planning to head back over and explore more of this new area to us, the Abbey itself deserves a full explore, sadly a drone no fly zone there! Really pleased you think its adding something, I need to keep practising with it and am finding it tricky to find the right place or time to use it....still practice makes perfect ❤☕🤗
Yea the Dyke doesnt jump out at you in one go, much more of a slow burn, especially when you think of this distance to stretched and the fact it was dig out by hand and primitive tools of the time. Glad our highly precise reenactment helped capture some bonus history and humor 🤗👍🤭 have a great week guys, thanks for the comment and support, really appreciated, Ceri and Kat ☕❤🌞🏴🏴
@@TeaInValhalla Well, that was a well planned and lovely surprise on Kat's part. Can tell she did well, you looked chuffed when you saw the place!
Keep safe@enjoy
Is it just me or does everyone love an unexpected giant gunnera?
It's one of our most favourite unexpected things we see ❤👍🏴🌱🏴
@@TeaInValhalla I would have taken cuttings👍
Hello from Tyrol,
you did another very interesting hiking tour.
Is there really a bat colony in the Tidenham Tunnel and did you see the bats?
Tintern Abbey was really impressive too.
👍👍👍
Greetings from Tyrol
Andy
Hello Andy, thank you for your support and comments, pleased you enjoyed the video, we cant wait to get back and explore more if this area and the Abbey! 🦇❤ yes the tunnel is home to many bat colonies, it's a known hibernacula for Horseshoe bats, a very rare species and various other species too. Really good that It is so well maintained and restricted access times, have a good week, Ceri and Kat 👍❤☕🦇🏴🏴
