Mine had fuses in 3 places: 1) under the hood 2) in the panel below the steering wheel 3) (if memory serves me) in the passenger side by the right foot I think?
@@Doublebarreledsimian No its more likely the button. Mine only lights up and works when I am actually pressing it. A friend told me they are notorious. They can fail in different ways. Mine is at the point where the latch on the button doesnt hold so I have a little wad thin cardboard holding it "on".
Thank you! Was wondering how I was going to get to those relays with that metal crash bracket in place. Happy to see just two bolts!
Thank you very much! I've looked and looked, trying to find which relay is the right one to fix my inop blower, your video has saved the day!
Great video. Thank you. Helped me out in 18° weather. Saved me a lot of time!
Saved me in 115° weather
Thank you for actually showing us the blower motor relay , hopefully it's in the same place on my wife's 2010 Forester
Thanks for the video, my legacy had the same problem.
Any chance that the ac/heat recirculation fuse is in that hidden panel you're showing?

@@B4Ctom1 Cool, thanks for the info. My recirculation button isn't working so I'm hoping it's just a fuse.

Thank u for this video
What does the relay you replaced temporarily connect to?
Your solution fixed my blower motor not working. Wondering if I can borrow a relay from another spot until I get another relay.
Perfect, tyvm
Thank you
Can this issue cause overheating ?
I don’t believe so. Radiator fans are run on some other relay. They could.
