That was amazing eye trapper, landing and taking off on the same runway. I don't know about anyone else but I certainly appreciate you standing in that miserable weather to get these great video's. We're having light snow but our biggest problem is below zero temperatures. You have a good week buddy and thank you again for your time.
Landings and takeoffs in heavy snowfall make us appreciate even more the skills and the concentrations the pilots have to focus on as the visibility is greatly reduced. This is especially so upon landings. I fully agree with 66lwmorgan in acknowledging the fact that Mr ET had to brave the freezing cold and the snow to bring us yet another superb episode. Thank you Mr ET. Cheers Mate. And keep warm!
this is what I have been waiting for, a good snow storm video, even though it not great for you being out in that, so hat off to your dedication in doing it.
Brilliant video, ET. As previously noted, you're not exactly a fairweather planespotter! We appreciate you toughing it out for our benefit. Did not know AC was storing A330's @ Victorville! Also, noticed the Korean 77F lurking around in the background in a few shots. Here's to better weather; the end of Covid; and an eventual return to aviation normalcy (whatever that is!). Two thumbs up from YLW.
Thanks man! Haha definitely not, extreme weather provide the best shots. Actually I believe it was a ferry flight for the wifi installation. It is AC's newest A330 member. Sadly she landed on the South runway so didn't manage to get a good shot 😉 Cheers man
Superb footage as always, quality at the highest level! Awesome scenario, liked the operations at the airport that most of the times people forget, but they are essential for the normal operations!
As a passenger sitting inside the aircraft you are very thankful for the work of all men & women working on the ground to deice your plane. You hope - at least i do that - that they did their deicing job so careful and precise as if their mother would be in that plane too. That Air Canada 777-300 ER @ 15:10 is really a show. Outside an inferno inside smooth, cozy and warm.
Actually it was very exciting to see YVR action during snow ❄️❄️❄️.. Awesome spotting in that extreme conditions which excites me a lot .To say it a word the video was "FANTABULOUS"
Spotting in snowy conditions is challenging but the results are definitely worth it! Don't know why but I love the look of the green de-icing fluid :D Keep up the great work man, hope this will be as successful as the one last year :)
Absolutely beautiful stuff, indeed. We're about to get a big snowstorm in my neck of the woods here in Ontario, tonight. Can't wait. :) Thanks much for getting out there and filming this for us, et. As beautiful as this is, I'm assuming that it's not that much fun to just stand around in it and try to film.
De-icing and snow removal are the best part during spotting. 😍 Air France 777 only lights were visible 🤩 Beautiful video as always ❤ How did you managed to do this video in that weather 😳
I was going to say, I know this is older, but, following you for quite a while now, I think when you were around 10k Subs, but your video work has gotten like so much better with the equipment, the clarity and crispness, its perfect…..
A really great video eye trapper! Great angles as usual at YVR. We’re also having a snowstorm here in Toronto tonight and tomorrow, I think it will be about 10-20 cm. That’s great news for someone like me who loves snow and skiing, but I’m sure some people don’t fell quite the same lol. ;)
Eye Trapper se superou desta vez !!! Ano passado já foi surpresa aeronaves operando sob neve, mas agora é uma nevasca.....incrivel que consigam operar nesta condição extrema. Parabéns pelo show de imagens........
Not at all. Canada is colder than Russia. In summers Russia is hotter than Canada. And northern parts of Canada remains cold throughout the year. I check temperatures of Oymyakon(Russia) and Eureka(Canada) even in summers the temperature of Eureka remains below zero.

As an aircraft deicer myself we take full responsibility to ensure the aircraft has zero decontamination before departure.
Looks like something straight out of a movie...I love it.
😁
Wow hats off to you for braving those conditions still in lockdown here in 🇬🇧 and traffic is much reduced thanks for sharing 👍👏🥶❄️⛄️

Fantastic compilation !! LIKE
Thanks!
The old Air Canada livery at 6:14 really makes the plane look absolutely frozen covered in snow. Brrrr... ❄️
This is very beautiful! I was stranded in Dallas, TX because of snow there for 6 days with 4 flight cancellations and finally made it home today.
Glad you enjoyed! Haha, what a trip.
