- This isn't the full moonlight kit with VTX. I wanted to try this DVR board to make a build that would be much lighter and utilize one of my existing VTX boards. Here I have a 1s vtx that has to run off of 5 volts and the DVR that I wire directly to the 2S battery. Overall weight without battery is 76 grams. not as good as I wanted but still pretty decent! Frame is 3D printed. I'm still refining the frame, as you can see it doesn't support the 4 mounting holes in its current state but still works really well! I will do a video on 3D printed frames and carbon fiber filaments that work really well in this size class in the coming future.
I feel that for most people the setting up of this kit is going to be very annoying and it may not sell as well as just buying the full kit. But for people like me that want to fool around it's a very welcomed addition.

This was a helpful video, thank you for posting it!
Very glad to hear 😁 Thanks for watching!!
Thanks for sharing! I've been thinking of doing something very similar with a whoop
You’re welcome😎! I want to do the same which is why I’m wondering how it works outside the casing so it can shed more weight. I only haven’t tried yet cause I’m afraid of messing up this current setup and overheating. But as it is a 2s whoop would work well
Nice. What Vtx are you using?
Thank You! This is the v2 1S board that has the 5v input limit, that's why I had it attached to the 5v Bec from flight controller while powering the DVR from VBAT.
Frame STL available with camera mount?
I will be posting it soon! I just need to fix the camera mounting a bit 😎
@@DanielSingerX Nice, thanks
