  • Finally Got Shark Byte up and running and I LOVE IT! Please no arguing about if DJI is better because we all know it is lol, but sharkbyte has its pros over DJI and that’s what I’d like to highlight here! I have always wanted a lightweight digital system for the micro drones I love to fly and here we are!
    I plan to go more in depth but i need more time with it. The downsides I see is the goggle module draws a lot of power as do the air units but then again so does DJI. I’d love to see the day I can use these air units on a 1s setup and I know it’s possible. Great to have these amazing options available to us today :D

    I like the Shark byte system as I just wouldn't want to be tethered to DJI , We all know what they are like when anything has to be repaired ...... Plus this system can be fitted to almost all of the newer types of Google's no matter what make they are .... Also for me , I " Like " Analogue , If only it was sharper and clearer ..... Hey presto , Here it is , Analogue feel with digital clarity .... Win win .

      Yessss! I’m with you 100% on this 😎 I have a feeling they might work on the video clarity at some point or we will get another camera that comes through better. In all I’m very pleased! I do notice however that it seems to not fare so well when flying with other pilots.. I’m still testing this

      BROOOOOO!!!! it’s been so long!!! Yeah I’d definitely say for you to get that Dji setup! There’s so much more I wanted to say about this but I’ll have to make a part 2. Dji is definitely far superior, but for what I like to fly which is super light weight the fat shark system is perfect! It actually exceeded my expectations and I’m using these low res goggles haha

    Nice video bro. Maybe someday I'll go digital when it's priced a bit better. Btw, that sounds like a Caribbean accent...do I detect some Guyanese or Bajan heritage? :)

    I realized I also feel latency, and having just bought HD3s I think getting Sharkbyte will be an excellent choice for me, especially being able to use it one whoops easily!

    • @DanielSingerX
      @DanielSingerX  3 роки тому +1

      I would 100% recommend Sharkbyte for you in that case! Where this system really shines is whoops and not only for the weight but also the signal multipathing breakup you get indoors on an analog whoop is smoothed out with this system. Also night vision I find extremely good with any of the 2 camera options we have now

      @@DanielSingerX I look forward to Shark Byte's evolution, the next version is probably gonna offer some good improvement off this version as well. Shame there's no sound through digital though, I just started enjoying flying with an earbud to hear my motors, makes a big difference for me but it's a compromise I'll have to make eventually. Do you think they'd ever add sound to any of the digital systems?

    • @DanielSingerX
      @DanielSingerX  3 роки тому

      @@avgvstvs96 oh definitely! I’m imagining eventually the digital vtx will be as small as analog and we can just stick it in with double sided tape haha! The audio I’m pretty sure will be implemented in these digital systems! But I’d imagine to add the extra data stream would take a hit on latency even if just a millisecond. Because of the continuing development I would imagine they are first going to figure out how to improve the video with the extra data before they think of sound. But on dji they have more bandwidth so it should be easier to add audio with no noticeable effects I’d imagine! I’m just skimming the surface of how it all works. But based on my knowledge of how it works I’m pretty sure it’s coming at some point

    Oh well shit. I'm getting this instead of DJI. It's less expensive and looks great. It will work on my Skyzone 03o goggles and it's even cheaper than my goggles were. After getting the bundle, its $100 for a camera and vtx for each new quad instead of $150 for air units.

    The new FW do 1080P60 upscaled

    • @DanielSingerX
      @DanielSingerX  3 роки тому

      Yeaap! I was excited to see that but it’s basically only changing the output of the goggles module but the quality remains the same. That did that because some displays and monitors don’t accept a 720p input. So when I change it from 720 to 1080 it literally looks the very same. But by adding that feature makes it more compatible. What I’m looking for is a new camera that doesn’t have the haze

      @@alfskaar489 woah thank you for this link! The camera settings used look amazing! And I knew that the lens isn’t so good, and that the IR filter has something to do with it! But basically it really isn’t so much the sensor that’s the problem but the algorithm it uses for that dynamic range that causes the haze. The caddx nebula that first came out for the DJI system had this problem and people hated it. This is using the same technology! But the settings and lens they spoke of really made a big difference
