FINALLY, MY SAW BLADES HAVE A STORAGE PLACE | MAKING A SAW BLADE STORAGE UNIT

- All my saw blades had laying around, in it's original packages, in my workshop. Almost never near the table saw. So i needed a solution for storing my saw blades near where i use them. So i came up with a solution which works great for me. Unfortunatelly I had not enough time to make doors, but maybe i will make doors someday.

DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME :

I like the hand hold cut-outs on the crosscut jig. Keeps your hands away from the blade. Smart idea!
A very practical shelf, it is a formidable work
Nice idea my friend. Good job 👍👍👍
Hello my friend. I like your beautiful storage project for saw blades. Good idea. The saw blades will now stand in place. Congratulations. Good job. Thank you for sharing. Merry Christmas. Yours truly....
Such a great idea and very nicely built. Will have to add this project to my ever expanding build list.
Thanks for sharing your work.
Sehr gute Idee! Wird 1:1 abgekupfert :-) Vielen Dank!
That's realy clever. Now I now what to do in the morning.
thanks for sharing...very creative & simple solution to every shops challenge
Very nice and practical. Added to my list of workshop improvements.
Very creative project excellently executed! Great Job.
Nice project. Beats my method of sticking a bunch of blades on a 16d nail 😂
Superbe idée et très bien réalisée👍👏👏.Merci de cette vidéo. Norbert (France)
Merci
For many Woodworkers, they have different sizes of saw blades. There are 7 1/4" circular, 10" table and 12" miter saw blades.
Then, there are people like me. I have a METAL blade for steel in all sizes and a set of solid steel blades for laminates.
So that's about a dozen of them that I have stacked up.
If I made it horizontal, with the pin going through the front top to bottom. Each one could pivot out like a shelf AND hold all of my blades.
Good idea. I just have to reorient the layers to horizontal and a piece of angle for a pin rest.
Brilliant solution. I have tried so many storage methods for my saw blades but this looks like a great idea
Thanks
thank you it is very nice
only one thing
i would put a transparent door for the durst
Well done!... Great idea.
Great idea, and very nice work. Cheers
Thanks
This would make a great lasercutter project.
That's a really clever blade holder. I wish you sold plans for that.
LG Kalle
Brilliant! I've been mulling over making something similar to store blades. I'd also like to make something that portable too to take to job sites.
Clever build 👍
Thanks
Great project ! I need to something similar. Thanks for the inspiration and the video !
I'm glad if you like it.
EXCELLENT !
Nette Idee! 👍
Very good idea!
Perfect. 👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks
Geninus!
Really fantastic idea, dude! Really well done! 😃
Happy new year!!!
Thanks
I'd like to just buy one!
Well done sir!
Thank you
Вроде мелочь,а такая удобная ящейка для дисков,!👍
👍👍😊
This is a much better design than others that I have seen. If I ever get a real tablesaw and multiple blades, I'll probably build a storage cabinet like this.
A small suggestion: most 10" blades are 1/8" wide, slightly more than the 3mm inner partition, which makes for a tight fit. I would suggest using 3/16" (actual size = .175" = 4.4mm) masonite which you can get at home depot for $14 for a 48x96" sheet (Model# 832780). That way you won't have pull the blades out of their sleeves. I do like the idea of this as convenient and volume sparse. Danke.
Thanks. But all of my blades are 2.8mm in width. So using 3mm MDF works perfect.
@@ISIMPLYBUILTIT - Interesting. So my comment would simply apply to American woodworkers.
Hallo sehr interessante Idee, gute Lösung. Einen guten Rutsch ins neue Jahr 2020.
mfg. vom Ndrh. Hans-Peter
Danke
Un bel progetto riuscito molto bene.... Ottimo lavoro!! Buon 2020 :-) :-)
Grazie
Nice build and video! 👍 Can you please list your blades and where to buy them?
Thanks. I bought all of them in germany. The Blue one is from Bosch, The red ones are all from Freud (I think they are similar to the Diablo Blades) and the flat tooth blade is from DeWalt.
That crosscut sled concerns me...
Can you make a video of the tablesaw fence? Have you modified the dust extraction on the saw?
That counter sink bit...where did you get it? I’ve seen it on other videos but still haven’t been able too find one.
Question two: Two different sleds because two different blade kerfs?
General Tools Countersink Set (3-Piece)
Model #195ST at Home Depot is one source
No. Two different sized sled's. One for smaller pieces and one if I have to cut bigger boards.
What kind of countersink bit is that?
It's a Bit from Wolfcraft. I bought it in a Hardware store near by.
maybe should have threaded the alu so no nuts showing. cleaner look, as any screw extending gets filed down flush.
anybody know where to get those pins he uses to make it swivel.
Go to Amazon.com and search for shelf pins.
Well done, but I am not making a video and I don't have the time or interest that much detail Good job for others
Top! But isn't the effort too big ... for five saw blades?
Na
The back isn’t going to come off for sure.
Nice but the hi pitched ring is annoying
Good project! However. the rapid fire video is a bit distracting! Slow it down a little. OK??
I like the idea but it wastes tooo much space and I have a small shop
Thanks. I have a small shop too. Mine is 4m x 3m.
Waste of material, time, energy. Do something usefull.
Dear Robert Kattner, and who are you, to say him, what he have to do and what not? I‘m just asking.. 🤷🏼♂️😉
Don't waste your time, writing something bad to someone you don't even know. And just don't look at it anymore, it could be that easy. 😉
Because as you see, the majority likes it, and that counts..
And now much much love for you... 🙏🏼
could u please chare wiht me the sizes of the proyect??? thank you .
