    That's cool that the dealer let you take the box. My understanding was that Yamaha wanted dealers or velofix to build them in the case of home delivery. Mine is getting delivered Monday. Thanks for the vid!

    Picked up through Slickdeals, while Yamaha had the $150 build option I chose $15 dealer fee and they still built it without asking. My first bike in 15 years and found the handle reach a little difficult, got large I’m 6’5”, though saw your other video, and the handle stem flip and hope to alleviate my issues. Thank you for the time and good instructions!

      @@skynels3744 glad to help! Hope you enjoy it. I have about 60 miles on mine so far. Flipping the stem helped a lot.

      If you have ordered directly via a dealer and not online. The dealer wouldn't have charged anything.

      @@mirzaishaan1 good to know. Doubt I need more than the two I’ve already bought online.

    Mine finally arrived from the out-of-state dealer that I ordered it from, unbuilt just like this. The seat post really puzzled me at first (never had a dropper post) but I did the same as you. Is it normal for the cable to stick out so far? Also, did you figure out what those two small piece of mountain equipment were for?

    • @InfiniteMishaps
      @InfiniteMishaps  28 днів тому +1

      I did not find out what those pieces were for just yet. I agree the cable does stick out a bit. I assume it could be trimmed if you have the skills to reconnect it after trimming the length of it. How are you liking it so far?

      @@InfiniteMishaps I actually came across the assembly guide that Yamaha provides to their dealers & technicians, I guess those two pieces are stays for a mud guard if you decide to put one on.
      Unfortunately, I just got the bike yesterday and haven’t had the chance to take it out yet. It’s pretty windy and cold today where I am and haven’t quite psyched myself up for colder riding yet, but I’m hoping to take it out for a spin tomorrow. When putting it together, it was crazy noticeable how good the quality is compared to some of my other electric and analog bikes

      @@DunnCrocked thanks for the info and I agree they are a pretty sturdy build so far.

    There is a new Crosscore RC and a new Wabash rt coming out for a 2025 model. The short marketing video of them are on Yamaha Europe's website. I got the Moro 07 SE and the CrossCore RC. I am really thinking about getting the Wabash as well since this is such a great deal. Same dealer.

      @@JJ-tv5pc link to the site? I can’t find any info on the US site. Found it. Looks largely the same with the new motor type. I’d take the deal on the older tech hands down.

    Did you get the 2nd battery for free like I've seen offered on the emails from yamaha? Also, the standover heights listed tells me I should order the small which is 30 inches. I've got short legs but a longer torso with a spare tire which has me worried about distance between the stem & saddle nose when I come to a stop. My inseam is like a 29/30 in jeans. I'm around 5ft 8 tall. Ideally I need to test ride one to really know. Problem is I don't think a dealer anywhere near me would have them to test..or would they? I think I'm around 150 miles from nearest dealer that could order them.

      @@jeffpedals I ordered the large and it ran a little big for me. So if you feel you are a at the top of the range for small or bottom of the range of medium. I would go small. It is hard to know for sure without riding the bike. It is a risk I took as well.

    What size frame did you get?

    • @InfiniteMishaps
      @InfiniteMishaps  Місяць тому +1

      @@Joel-yo9li I got the large and I’m right at 6ft. Feels a little big for me. But I’d rather have big and get a shorter stem. Than a medium and have to get a longer stem.

      @@InfiniteMishaps Cool, I'm 6'5" and have a large coming. It's been hard to see how much room there is for water bottles and frame bags as most videos have medium or small size frames. I've got a suspension stem that I'm going to try out on it.

    • @skynels3744

      @@skynels3744 I would have flipped the stock stem if I didn't already have the Kinekt suspension stem. It's the same length with 30 degrees of rise, so it got my hands up into a more comfortable position. I think Yamaha (and most of the bike industry) should just install the stems with a bit of rise. Most e-bike riders want the comfort of being more upright and the buyers that want to be lower can flip it.
