I'm already laid up with crippling nerve pain but we both suffer from grinding and popping of our joints. I will actually get sore spots on my ligaments and tendons in areas where they snap across boney structures. Any strengthening or pain reducing suggestions would be welcome. Thank you!
Would like to see a video about things you can do for tight scalene muscles, front of my neck up to my jaw bones, behind my ears, base of skull are terrible tight. Tried lying on back with head hanging from bed, also using some tension straps wrapped around hands palms up stretching outward, but wonder if there's other stuff also. Love your videos, worked for a chiropractor for 18 years and have learned more from you.
@@FrankenLab I’ve been applying what Dr said in one of his videos but I incorporated with other ‘s exercises. I am now pain- free for that but I have other issues that gives pain when I do my exercises for my shoulder and other parts of the body.
You are a magician 😃 I have been suffering with hip pain for nearly a 8 months, and the pain stays (sometimes mild, sometimes excruciating) all the time. My cousin shared this video with me, and merely after 2 (short 5 minutes) sessions on day-1, although my core muscles felt a bit sore, but the pain just disappeared next day, just like that, poof, just like that the pain disappeared next day. Even thought it was for a very short period, the constant pain (which never stopped even for a second) just stopped. I used to feel pain every morning as soon as I get up, but just after day-1 and full night sleep it was gone. I have been regularly doing the first 3 exercises (only 2 sets each) regularly for nearly a month, and feel if I continue the same for the next few months, I will gain my ability to run again. I wish I could meet you in person, and possible hug you, but thank you, thank you very much for sharing your medical knowledge with all of us in pain. Thanks.

I have very painful hips when I lie on either side. Wakes me up and have to keep switching sides around every 30 mins or so! Thank you for the exercises. I shall report back in a month! 👏👏👏
@@insideout8837 Nope and those exercises are honestly amazing! Completely fixed my hip pain after just two mornings of those exercises……..but the pain goes so I stop doing the exercises and then the pain comes back after a few weeks. 😂 Trick is to keep doing them weekly I guess.
I started my yesterday my exercises 4/30/24 and I can believe the next day I walk in three stores like home decor, Walmart and I didn't use an electric chair and I call my family how happy I was thanks you so so sooo much

Thank you so much for this video. I have been suffering with hip arthritis for a couple of years. Tried these exercises and I felt relief immediately. I wear a hip brace sometime for support, but along with these exercises, iI feel better. It’s nice to have someone like you post a video such as this to help pain sufferers. Taking pain meds all the time for relief is just not good for me, so thank you again.
These exercises are wonderful. I’ve been practicing some for a while before watching the video but this has given me more variations for greater benefit. My question is how often should these exercises, both for pain relief and strengthening, be practiced. Thanks in advance !

I'm 21 years old boy, my uric acid level is 9.4, my pains starts from hip joint area , i Don't know it's sciatica or due to high uric acid level but i can't walk or stand properly, its also difficult while sitting or sleeping Update: After 4/5 months I've recovered almost completely,so i recommend on: 1) clean diet / healthy food 2) do some sort of exercises 3) focus on healthy weight loss

Give this man a medal already! So many useful excercises that I can use for a lifetime. I'm 45 and have been diagnosed with arthritis in both sides of my hip, and these excercises are really helpful, even I can't do them fully.
Such a concise explanation of each exercise. I'm a retired dancer, but still take classes 3/X per week. Have been feeling a bit of pain in left hip for some time. Almost all of my colleagues have had hip replacements, and I do NOT want to go that route. What I like about these exercises is that they are educational, in that, while doing each one, it shows you exactly where your weaknesses are, and which ones you need to really focus on. I honestly believe that by balancing the supporting muscles of the hip, you can keep it strong and functional and possibly avoiding taking more drastic steps. You are one smart guy!
I am losing hope on my doctor because when I explain my illness he doesn't hear the full situation I am in he uses that massage machine n ask how I'm feeling and it's so painful then he gives so little tablets and say come again if I feel the same, like I sayed I am tired my room look like a pharmacy with so much of different medications 😥

Boy did it ever help!!! I was suffering for 2 weeks... muscle relaxers did nothing, anti inflammatories have slight relief... these helped tremendously! I shared with all my friends!!!
2:30. this move caused 3 very painful short cramps in my right hip after which I thought I couldn't proceed. amazingly, the 4th time around the cramp didn't come back. it's gone. you promised relief after 30 seconds, and it actually worked.
Football is my joy giver, most often my hip joint denied me that joy. But with this video I was be able to have an instant relief from my hip joint pain. I believe performing these exercises regularly will definitely help me out. Thanks for the video🙏💙

I am going to be trying most everything in your page. I was hit head in by a drunk driver years ago and the injuries that healed have finally came back around with sciatica, vertebrae issues, and arthritis. The sciatica along with this hip arthritis are H-E-L-L together. (Lower back pain a constant as well) I’ve went through PT over a month ago and I have improved but the sciatica got worse.
This is my first time here. I really appreciate your efforts on this video. I pray it help me because I can't even open my legs widely and I feel pain even while trying to cross my legs. Will keep following up thank you very much
Wow! So many of us struggling with hip flexor&lower back pain& everything in between - issues. These are daily stretch routines for me now & little by little Im feeling normal rotation while walking, less stiffness & pain, less otc pain relief. Life is looking & feeling less dismal, if you know what I mean(depressing)😉

Wow thanks to my friend for sharing this very insightful video! I had a horrible fall on the Thursday before the Easter weekend.. I slipped on a slippery tiles passage and landed on my left hip and also onto my multi tool I use for work.. So was a very painful experience and i rested that long weekend.. And went back to work the Tuesday and by Thursday I needed to see a Dr.. The following week I was in hospital to see if there was any damage to my hip.. Nothing thankfully damaged by xrays showed I have quite severe arthritis which I never knew I had.. I was in hospital for two days and today went for shock therapy at the physio.. A quick in and out. He'll be sending me a routine probably similar to what you show here. But I'm thrilled to see this even before my local physio can help.. Might save me a bunch of cash as well.. 😊 Thank you Joe and Michael

I was diagnosed with minimal cerabral palsy when I was 11 years old when I had to go to a special needs school from my home town I'm Walvis Bay to Cape Town in South Africa.. I am am a very stiff person in general I've never been able to sit cross leged or touch my toes standing up is impossible.. I was given a few exercises to do by a physio for my hip a good few years back. I did do them nothing of the scale you have shown but I did lapse doing them for a good few years now.. But the fall really has knocked me for a 6 as they say in cricket.. But thank you again really appreciate this new routine I'm about to embark on..
Thank you so much Dr. Rowe-I broke my right femur in an auto accident in 2019 and ever since then I have had knee and hip arthritis on that side that has been progressively getting worse. I've only started watching them tonight and I'm going to get with your program. I'm "only" 64 and I don't intend on getting hip surgery!

Even though I work assiduously on maintenance of my mobility, my Ehlers-Danlos syndrome injuries are now causing terrible difficulties despite the advice and care of a physiotherapist. A torn labrum and now bone on bone osteoarthritis are making it hard to avoid surgery while maintaining my fitness. Thankyou so much for all your great help. From uk (aged 70)

I love this! I could not figure out what was wrong; I did many exercises, but it was hit or miss. Before covid, I went to gym class every day, but stopped for about 2 years. 4 months ago, I was back at the gym getting my strength back, when my hip attacked me! I still run to the gym four days a week, but sometimes it is painful (I am 73 years old, not ready to give up yet!) This is the solution! Thank you!
9 months after your comment but hopefully you will see this. I have found that if I have a break from exercising, either because of holidays or something else I start to have pain in different places until my body gets back into shape. In particular my hips. Good luck and stick with it.
I think I developed this from trying to catch up with this guy who is running in front of me. That taught me a lesson that in goodness, you were able to correct. I don’t think I’m going to need a doctor anymore. I ran again today and aggravated it again. Then I found your videos and I can honestly say I feel a little bit better. That was pretty quick. I can’t wait to try this again this evening and tomorrow before I attempt to walk or run again. Thank you so much 🙏🏻.
I suffered for a long time….degeneration arthritis of spine back pain, the pain is more on the right side of the hip. Thank you for sharing this exercises very helpful.

I tried doing these exercises and the bad right side, became Sooo cramped, omgg I had to stop n start again, but I won't stop

How do you diagnose? What tests find out you have arthritis? I have pain in my left leg and inside my feet. Sometimes in right leg.

Nothing thankfully damaged by xrays showed I have quite severe arthritis which I never knew I had.. I was in hospital for two days and today went for shock therapy at the physio.. A quick in and out. He'll be sending me a routine probably similar to what you show here. But I'm thrilled to see this even before my local physio can help.. Might save me a bunch of cash as well.. 😊 Thank you Joe and Michael

@@DrRowe thank you for your quick reply just want to add a few things in.. I was diagnosed with minimal cerabral palsy when I was 11 years old when I had to go to a special needs school from my home town I'm Walvis Bay to Cape Town in South Africa.. I am am a very stiff person in general I've never been able to sit cross leged or touch my toes standing up is impossible.. I was given a few exercises to do by a physio for my hip a good few years back. I did do them nothing of the scale you have shown but I did lapse doing them for a good few years now.. But the fall really has knocked me for a 6 as they say in cricket.. But thank you again really appreciate this new routine I'm about to embark on..

Thank you so much Dr. Rowe-I broke my right femur in an auto accident in 2019 and ever since then I have had knee and hip arthritis on that side that has been progressively getting worse. I've only started watching them tonight and I'm going to get with your program. I'm "only" 64 and I don't intend on getting hip surgery!

This is the video I have needed for years. Even though I work assiduously on maintenance of my mobility, my Ehlers-Danlos syndrome injuries are now causing terrible difficulties despite the advice and care of a physiotherapist. Wowwwww IMMEDIATE RELIEF! I did a little too much yesterday on my walk/run and for some reason for the first time ever: my left 52 year-old hip-bone was super sore hours after. These awesome stretches are now a part of my everyday regimen. THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR WISDOM❤

I love this! I could not figure out what was wrong; I did many exercises, but it was hit or miss. Before covid, I went to gym class every day, but stopped for about 2 years. 4 months ago, I was back at the gym getting my strength back, when my hip attacked me! I still run to the gym four days a week, but sometimes it is painful (I am 73 years old, not ready to give up yet!) This is the solution! Thank you!

9 months after your comment but hopefully you will see this. I have found that if I have a break from exercising, either because of holidays or something else I start to have pain in different places until my body gets back into shape. In particular my hips. Good luck and stick with it.

I think I developed this from trying to catch up with this guy who is running in front of me.
That taught me a lesson that in goodness, you were able to correct. I don’t think I’m going to need a doctor anymore. I ran again today and aggravated it again. Then I found your videos and I can honestly say I feel a little bit better. That was pretty quick. I can’t wait to try this again this evening and tomorrow before I attempt to walk or run again.
