@@hank1556I feel the same way and have trouble believing it but if the expense is high, which I think it is, the manufacturers wouldn’t want to use them. It seems like these are just new enough to the industry that they aren’t being used much. I really can’t imagine a piston being 20% more fuel efficient being ignored by manufacturers for very long though given how strict the emissions have become. If Cummins or other engine makers could get by on the next emissions standard just by using these pistons, I can’t imagine them not going with them unless there are some drawbacks we don’t know about yet. 20% just seems too huge to not use them though, but with any advertised gains, I figure it’s probably not quite as much as 20% in reality. I’d love to try them in my next engine though it seems like really cool technology.

An observation Dave ,I would look at some powered engine crane and trolleys and handling equipment for transmissions ,the almost dropped moment lends itself to having a better process. I see your guys driving around the building, maybe some form of conveyor system to link the various departments ? All for greater efficiency for everyone and save the guys and gals backs etc through handling equipment, especially as you are doing more and more engine rebuilds and installations . As I said ,just an observation, you may think differently.
Being a retired diesel mechanic I just despise that motor but the way you guys build it. He shouldn’t have any problem getting 600,000 personally. I’m a Cummings man always have been always will be. 20% increase by pistons alone is just mind boggling
I'm curious if the cost of the speed of air pistons will come down once they pay back their debt. It would be cool to see a multitude of independent studies done since I'm sure the percentage increase of performance and percentage decrease of carbons/contaminates is for ideal conditions.
I still don't belive it. The manufacturers would be doing it if it was true
@@hank1556because manufacturers DEFINITELY want more efficiency….
Bro ur so gullible 😂😂
Excellent Job Young Man…….Amazing Team you have Dave 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
This would be my dream when I graduated highschool I love watching all his videos I love how they explain the stuff

Awesome to see a young guy getting the opportunity to work on a project like that
Usually..I'd say "good stuff"
In this case, it has to be "great stuff !
Great job, men
Wow that’s a long way! Hopefully he made it back safely.
Great video, great work, great client!
That’s a bad ass truck! And sounds amazing to
That’s your your biggest competition Dave this young man is going to set up shop just down the road and that’s not a bad thing just a thing !!
That is a beautiful engine!👍

Great work and a great shop. The only thing different for me would be part of the road test in the video. Great job.
Great feedback, thank you for that. Appreciate you watching our channel.
Definitely sending my car 2 these guys 4 a new transmission / engine on my 06 town car.
They r the real deal💯💯🔥
I have 3 international T444Es LOVE EM all manual transmissions fantastic trucks
You are phenomenal! If I owned a P.U I bring it to you just to have it upgraded!!!😊😊😊
Good catch on the T case. I was thinking what he said, lol.
Nice save on the transfer case. That would have been embarrassing. 👍
Should have taken a group pic of everyone that work on this truck with service writer and Dave. To put on your wall and send the owner the pic. Love the videos.
Great idea 👍
Caden is one great mechanic!
another awesome video. wish you guys had a shop here in Australia.

Now that was a great video. Thankyou!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Incredible workmanship gentlemen
What is with the battery powered tools assembly stuff, kids now days. I'm 60, wrenching for a living since I was 22. Still use a speed handle before I use the torque, wrench stage. Your shop repairs is why I switched to the marine side 15 years ago. Pull a cab to swap out an engine, nope. My office is the lake, love it, never happier.
And the old 73 power strokes unbeatable. And at least 85% of diesel mechanics that I know cross United States feel the same about that engine but Dave’s they do it right good job brother.
The Duramax is actually a very good and reliable engine, the older ones are better though. Keep them relatively stock and take care of them and they will take care of you.
This young man is a surgeon. Inspiring to watch him.
You guys are awesome that thing is a work of art.
Great work guys and gals 👍

Appreciate that he smoked the tires, just a little bit, on the way home!
perfect!
this is the number 2 thing i like to watch the most
😉
I can only say that I wish the Utah Ute receivers could make a catch like your young mechanic did catching the transfer case.
😂👍
