“ I was so young when I was born.” - George Harrison
Benjamin Button can't relate
He was born at a young age
@@dazzledazz123 I was thinking of Benjamin Button whenever George sings that line!
I think that George talk about reenactment.
Oh wow I didn’t know you were young when you were born
"I was so young when I was born."
Not just a musical genius, but also a scientific genius.
Or for the avians amongst us: I used to be an egg, but grew out of it
But when George says that he is referring to incarnation. He believed he had a long road ahead to reach divinity - hence the drugs, sex and fast cars he indulged in!
@@garethb1961 we all have to delude ourselves that death is not in our vicinity, dwelling on it would drive us mad,
If George was comforted on his deathbed by belief in reincarnation, good for him, total rubbish can be comforting
I was born on my birthday
That lyric is right up there with "Daylight is good at arriving at the right time" (All Things Must Pass).
What I love about this is that it's just a song about his house.
And there was no interwebs back then. Even in this crackerbox palace. Anyone who visited the place must have fond memories, but yet, no interwebs? I wana watch girls sticking their tongues out 24/7 from all around the world. They didn´t have that back then.
He was brilliant
George is my favorite Beatle. The fact that he used “It’s twue, it’s twue” as a reference to Blazing Saddles makes me love him even more.
We all liked Madeline Kahn in Blazing Saddles too.
If it weren't for GH. the movie Life of Brian may never had been made.

This strikes me in a very peculiar way. Quirky, wholesome, somehow familiar - like an intro to a favorite show I had long forgotten. My uncle used to go drinking with his brother Harry and my aunt worked with his sister Louise for years. Her daughter is actually named Louise after her. What a great talent and loss. Crackerbox Palace (Lyrics)
George Harrison
I was so young when I was born
My eyes could not yet see
And by the time of my first dawn
Somebody holding me they said
I welcome you to Crackerbox Palace
We've been expecting you
You bring such joy in Crackerbox Palace
No matter where you roam know our love is true
While growing up or trying to
Not knowing where to start
I looked around for someone who
May help reveal my heart - someone said
While you're a part of Cracerbox Palace
Do what the rest all do
Or face the fact that Crackerbox Palace
May have no other choice than to deport you
And we welcome you to Crackerbox Palace
We've been expecting you
You bring such joy in Crackerbox Palace
No matter where you roam know our love is true
It's true, it's true
Sometimes are good, sometimes are bad
That's all a part of life
And standing in between them all
I met a Mr. Grief - and he said
I welcome you to Crackerbox Palace
Was not expecting you
Let's rap and tap at Crackerbox Palace
Know that the Lord is well and inside of you
And we welcome you to Crackerbox Palace
We've been expecting you
You bring such joy in Crackerbox Palace
No matter where you roam know our love is true
You bring such joy in Crackerbox Palace
No matter where you roam know our love...
Know our love is true
