I have been going after all the Triple Triad cards. You have to do a bit of EVERYTHING! Eureka, Bozja, Crafting, Blue Mage, Gold Saucer, Island Sanctuary, Deep Dungeon, lol its awesome!
I've been using this time to catch up on old side content that I've skipped over. I only started playing about 4 years ago, so there's plenty of old raids, the older beast tribes, and optional trials and dungeons that I haven't unlocked yet. I've also recently gotten stupidly addicted to fishing. There's something deeply satisfying about catching those fish that only bite in certain conditions.
The moogle event got me back on ocean fishing for the first time in a year...that got me back into fishing in general and now big fishing. I might never get the big fish title ( too many schedule conflicts) but maybe the irresitible lure.
2:41 I'm Minnesotan. You don't need to sell me on Fishing being fun! I come from the Land of 10,000 Lakes! We got a whole song dedicated to fishing for one fish. The State Fish... the Walleye! (Which needs to be a fish in FF14.)
id also say with tribal quests, some have cool stories, especial the newest ones from endwalker, the one race(we will call it cafe to avoid spoilers) is actually super hopeful and undoes some of the darkness of the main ques, so they have some fun lore. plus if you just felt guilty about killing thousands of them, this can let you roleplay a good character that tries to make up for it. and you can get good materia for relatively cheap, so if you are tring to pentameld those crafters and gatherers, its good to get some materia.
I second doing the Beast Tribe quests! They add so much context to the various races, have unique rewards, and if you do them in order of expansion then there's a secret connecting questline of sorts between maxing out each xpac's group of tribes ;)

Your mount farming section is good, and you can technically add hunt mounts to it. Also worth mentioning that apart from the new series rewards, people mainly do PvP to work towards certain mount achievements for the various instances and, in the case of Seal Rock, the Field Commander glam set as well. As others have mentioned, you can also add these to your downtime activities: 1) Working on relics: This can involve farming combat instances or even just doing your books for the ARR ones, and on a more long-term basis, you can even passively buy mats in advance with Poetics. 2) Going inside Eureka or Bozja instances: This can be separate from relic farming as some people get unique items or fragments and sell them for money. 3) Achievement farming: You can work towards specific achievements such as crafting a certain number of HQ items, and/or collect unique achievement rewards like mounts, minions, weapons, orchestrion rolls or cards. 4) Crafting: Whether to sell items to others or to make your own housing furniture, or even contribute to your food and drink stash for raiding.

Would not recommend gold saucer outside of the make it rain event. You get more rewards for same effort. Skip the ARR beast tribes you can buy their mounts with moogle tomes. Pvp outside of crystal conflict is a slog fest. Island sanctuary only offers glamour and mounts so if you don’t like beach attire or etc it’s a pass. Most people afk in the city with their ultimate weapon playing another game. Take a break. Play other things
Start working towards getting every achievement. That way you can be even more bored, so bored that you might even be motivated to play other games instead just to try and forget how boring it is.
I actually think PvP sucks in this game. I never have any fun with it (I just do it because there are a ton of achievements tied to it). The only one I can have some decent fun with is Rival Wings, and no one plays that one.

#1 Quit. There is nothing wrong with quitting, taking a break and go and do other stuff/games. It's actually a very good thing. I myself play on and off, I quit for 1-2 months, come back, binge, repeat.
The game lack some content between primals and savage.
There is a gap on that still to be filled
Would not recommend gold saucer outside of the make it rain event. You get more rewards for same effort. Skip the ARR beast tribes you can buy their mounts with moogle tomes. Pvp outside of crystal conflict is a slog fest. Island sanctuary only offers glamour and mounts so if you don’t like beach attire or etc it’s a pass. Most people afk in the city with their ultimate weapon playing another game. Take a break. Play other things
New game + keeps me going. c:
"Did you know ffxiv is a fishing game?"
Bots in limsa be like:
great video!!!!
Currently playing on an alt. The foreshadowing in arr. Also i didn't realize how much of an ass alphinaud used to be.
Start working towards getting every achievement. That way you can be even more bored, so bored that you might even be motivated to play other games instead just to try and forget how boring it is.
Number 11: stop subscription
Does getting in trouble with GM's count? If so,
then yes, i tend to get in a fight with other bards
I lucked out: I'm a Leap main.😅
Myself I'm taking a little break to play some RimWorld and do horrible things to raiders.
Playing hell divers 2 :)
jokes on you, i was listening to your video but not really paying attention! Yeah! what are you going to do now?!
"musky, i like it" population of avy simps has increased!
I actually think PvP sucks in this game. I never have any fun with it (I just do it because there are a ton of achievements tied to it). The only one I can have some decent fun with is Rival Wings, and no one plays that one.
you play final fantasy 7 rebirth.
ngl beast tribes are the last thing I will recommend when someone is bored. it's even more boring than being bored.
1 thing you can do when you're bored of FFXIV....
Go play FFVII rebirth.
Cosplay a lighthouse in the middle of Gridania with my obsurdly birght and shiny weapons **Puts on sunglasses**
(and sometimes glamours)
pvp is all you need
ERP! Thats the special trick haha well... that and all the story that leads up to it. Roleplay is the spice of life.
FISHING!!!!
