Great video Dan. My ancestors farmed land for hundreds of years nearby. The village and surrounding area can be seen. In another direction about 4 miles in the distance my Grandfather farmed. It's almost certain that some ancestors worked in Hardwick Hall and its estate.
Dan the milk tray man 🤣 (I remember those adverts) 😬 Judy the wise totally busted you when she said "you enjoy the game" she was fun, liked her. Nice one mate, great vid 👍🏻
Yah, we gotta be really careful with those drones. We don't want to read a headline: _Hardwick Hall, built in 1500, fell over after a collision with a 250 gram drone. The hall is survived by a few incidental out-buildings._
Even more fun fact the cinchona tree produces an anti malarial drug quinine plants were the first source of many 'Medical treatments' Willow trees produce salicylic acid commonly known as aspirin.
They still cannot stop telling the auditor six or seven times that he cannot fly when on NT land, when from the outset he told them that he would not be. They are all so ill-mannered. The woman in the gift shop was another back-turner and referred to Dan as "some guy" instead of "a gentleman". The man with the beard could not stop lecturing Dan even though he agreed that Dan could fly the drone from the bridleway. Hardwick Hall is stupendous inside, by the way. I visited around fifteen years ago.
@@MarkPayne-k7l Thing is he didnt fly it from a bridleway but on an NT estate road. He was about 600m from the nearest public point or bridleway. So contradicted everything he was trying to prove.
That is amazing beautiful footage of a beautiful building...........why would anyone NOT endorse that.....stunning images & the music too....brilliant👏👏👏👏
A brilliant item. It looks like the NT have advised their staff that they are powerless to stop drone flights. A step change, bringing the culture of these places to all. Thank you.
Dan! While you're around here... Please come and do sportsdirect/flannels, it's a massive site and there are other buildings in the area. Absolute carnage at this place, would be more than happy to give any information needed and also best time to come to see all the absolute dangerous and manic happenings.
I always wish I could go back in time and see who was living in these beautiful places and what happened in their lives. The happy times and the sad times
Great drone footage before the relatively cheap drone this wouldn’t have been possible! I mean helicopter footage but cost would have been out of most people range.
Not many people know that Bess of Hardwick was the lady hose children were the start of the Cavendish dynasty .She had 4 husbands one was William cavendish of which she had 8kids I think to him ,the last husband was Talbot earl of Shrewsbury ,best thing is there’s a book by Mary Lovell I recommend it will give you the insight to Hardwick hall /Chatsworth ,earl of Shrewsbury was the jailer for Mary Queen of Scotland for 18 years and never got paid ,Elizabeth the first wouldn’t pay him ,one thing people don’t know is Bess was the second richest woman in England .enjoy Cedric 🤪
The shop crew said it right "Without permission you can't fly here", Drone Assist checks the permission to fly in the airspace, and it is allowed so YES you have PERMISSION...
Doesn't a right of way only grant the right to "pass and repass", not stop and fly a drone? Thanks for filming the roof and towers. I've always wondered about the layout and access from the house.
Fantastic footage...Great filming and music, brilliantly done.. These places should actually pay you for doing such great filming footage for them, of which they could put onto a screen for visitors to see the bits of the beautiful architectural decorative roof structure that only the drone can get ...And its a great advertisement for them.. If only they the national trust appreciated the bigger picture of it you may make yourself a new job out of it at some point...because they are getting your skills for free right now so they should be greatful really in my opinion... Great filming 👍
Having saw PJ Audits at NT's Clumber Park and the BS he was told I was interested in what the staff at Hardwick would say as I live close by and walk the Park often. You've got the Duty Manager telling you to read the NT policy on drones which states a byelaw restricting flight then says if you're not on NT land he can't stop you! And if I wanted to steal from the Hall I'll walk in and video my escape route! When they say 'protecting the heritage of our country' the NT took over the Estate in 1959 and removed the WW2 Airborne Forces Depot that was in the Park and erased it from their history which I think is shameful.
So management are aware that offsite drones cannot be stopped, but why haven't they passed that down to front line staff? The problem is still there if people are still told 'not allowed'
I’d be curious to know why you differentiate between a bridleway that they own and their actual private property - both are publicly accessible Are they different legally do you know?
great video, I was brought up in a village about 3-4 miles from Hardwick, only been around the Hall once in my life but your video opened parts I haven't actually seen before, what a shame National Trust have to be so closed minded about what you are doing. Think again NT.
If these people only knew that you're actually generating revenew for them with your stunning footage from above, they'd pay you commission. NT is struggling these days
Good audit video upload dje great views up above from the drone ay I thought someone mite have turned up to talk to you again after flying the drone anyway till the next one 👍
Great video Dan. My ancestors farmed land for hundreds of years nearby. The village and surrounding area can be seen. In another direction about 4 miles in the distance my Grandfather farmed. It's almost certain that some ancestors worked in Hardwick Hall and its estate.
They don't want UA-camrs doing drone videos but look at the extra coverage they get at no cost to them
Dan the milk tray man 🤣 (I remember those adverts) 😬

Well clued up and very wise like you say 😂
Yah, we gotta be really careful with those drones. We don't want to read a headline: _Hardwick Hall, built in 1500, fell over after a collision with a 250 gram drone. The hall is survived by a few incidental out-buildings._
It's quite amazing how many people worry about illegal people and mention about "terror" in different words one way or another.
The microlight would do way more damage than i tiny drone if it crashed.
Great video. The autumnal colours, especially of the trees complimented the stone work on the hall.
Great video and music, my neck of the woods. Lovely to see.
Really enjoying the sweeping shots you have started to do more of on the drone footage. Really nice touch.
Fun fact - Yew trees contain a chemical they make anti-cancer drugs out of.
thanks ,,,,what a tree ,,dans drone work is ten out a ten
Even more fun fact the cinchona tree produces an anti malarial drug quinine plants were the first source of many 'Medical treatments' Willow trees produce salicylic acid commonly known as aspirin.
Fruit and veg have many anti cancer properties too.
Yew trees are very poisonous, don't touch without wshing hands after.
Is there anywhere a drone has not crashed in to ? Loving the Game of Drones music theme
He's worried the drone's going to crash into the windows then casually mentions a cow crashed into a car 😂😂😂
Very good Dan, think it might be starting to sink in at corporate level. Once they realise what “public” is
They still cannot stop telling the auditor six or seven times that he cannot fly when on NT land, when from the outset he told them that he would not be. They are all so ill-mannered. Thank you for yet another lovely video are you going to London tomorrow for the farmers
Beautiful footage 👌
Dan glad you did Hardwick, next Hassop,Haddon & Chatsworth Inc Edensor village.A nice flight ✈️ around the Crooked Spire would look great.
Very long time since I went to Hardwick! Beautiful place. Great day out, perfect for a picnic with the kids.

I'd go there just to have a chat with Judy to be fair.
A brilliant item.

This was a truly marvellous, video, particularly with those scrolls on the walls, & the gorgeous shades of the rolling pastures. Thk.you .

I couldnt see any footage where the drone was within 3 meters of the house.
Did that lass with the bobble hat just call me an unscrupulous risk to her heritage? ....shocking!
Old biddy with the non-matching gloves was a bit cheeky! Wind yer neck in and jog on!
Fascinating place. Went here years ago and was amazed at the story of the two halls. Thanks for bringing back good memories.
Love the old buildings, a great video DJ E. ❤❤
That first lad was very pleasant
Judy was excellent and a wise soul another great video dan

Public bridle ways do not belong to the landowner, they are owned by the local authorities, even if the estate owner has to maintain it.
"The drone is flying over over" - "what do you mean the drone is flying over over? over" - "I was ending the transmission with over over" 🤣😂
😂😂😂😂
theres a place round here called Over ( just outside Gloucester). Good job they weren't broadcasting that it was going to hover over over over....

The car is a very rare right hand drive Ferrari Daytona Convertible.

you do good work. What a beautiful building. And may I add . Good video your flying an footage are superb ❤
the National Trust are a total embarrassment; and i used to voluntary work for them.
On so many videos, I just skip ahead when the drone footage come up. But, my gosh, this is spectacular.
Great video well done

Beautiful building but what is it
I know you cant fly from their property. But your videos show we have some fabulous buildings to see. keep it up.

Hardwick hall have re-evaluated their staff. And as they are national trust they have no rights to tell the general public anything.
I’m sure if they were to watch the video they would say how good it was and them to use it 👏👏
