The new cancel timings and guard points feel really goddamn good, wand is actually shaping up. Still would love to see the wand toolkit expanded a bit more... another PA (I always suggest Black Hole Rapture) or some type of "gear" resource to gain and spend on enhanced attacks or extra moves like the etoile wand thing / whirlwind / etc. Hopefully a lot of classes are fleshed out in this way with the Stia patch.
Black Hole tends to be the thing a lot of people are asking for. It helps with mobbing for sure but we really need bossing in the current state.
Unless black hole is a resource building monster.
@@Einhander Definitely true, with the photonic fury buffs mobbing isn't in a bad place (+ talis access but I'd personally like to see each weapon stand on its own as much as possible). Either way, it's only up from here (hopefully lol).
We need 2 more PAs one for downed-boss one for mobbing
They gave wand less PAs than other weapons because wand can cast tech but somehow gave JB 4 PAs, 2 counters & 2 built in skills...
@@desubysnusnu yeah give justice for wand even though I'm still new with the weapon I still feel bad knowing that a fun weapon like wand gets treated like this
Man you make the wand look so cool, I hope to master a weapon like you mastered the wand. I'm still in the beginner period of trying out every weapon and picking a main is gonna be tough!

Been playing for 2-3 months. Still havent tried out every weapon/class lol.
Your videos popped up in my feed right on time. I havent even searched for any other wand gameplay yet I'm trying to binge your videos 1st lol. Just started messing with wand a 2-3 days ago and I'm loving the shit out of it.
I gravitated to tech/force with talis 1st.....came around to really liking waker/force and tech/bouncer.
Think I'm going to master these two groups before I try anything else out. Your videos will ease the struggle thank you
Te/bo is still the best class combo for techter and a good starting point for all content. Weaker is based I'm really hoping techter gets to a point where it doesn't need multiweapons.
@@Einhander yea as I got better understanding of the classes. Te/bo made the most sense so definitely sticking with that.
You dont like multi weapons?
@@Sol-ev6dv the issue multiweapon is that from a practical standpoint they are expensive or can be with high level gear.
So a class like katana braver saves so much in resources that it gives an unfair advantage to say techter who needs jetboots to confidently clear purple triggers solo.
Of course if that's not your thing it's not as important. And the economy is crap so resource management is important.
just saw this video, very informative and learned a few new tricks from this. also wanted to point out additional info from your tips, for the wand dash you can cover distance much farther and faster when you're using wand lovers, as long as you have any target within range, and it's fun as heck xD
I was trying the swift smash OS earlier today! Wand is really fun now. Like, it has some of the shenanigans that JBs had, but in its own unique way, and I love that. I didn't realize you could do the DF beams like that, and I also didn't know about the chained uncharged swift smash stuff. I'd been doing a full charge, and then using the invulnerability period to charge another one, but I'm guessing the damage is better overall with the uncharged ones.
I've loved wand since base, but it really feels like its coming into its own now. The thing I've been struggling with now is elemental down accumulation w/o a talis, so I guess I'm just gonna have to do that b/c we kept not getting the elemental down on Renus in the Purple Retem R2 if I was the only tech user. It was wild too, b/c I saved two compound techs, wand lovers, AND the photon blast, and still couldn't get it to proc. With Bouncer sub, no less lol.

The is the Rugged talis chase potential. Every 5 sends you have a chance of doing an additional 80-240 attack potency via those drones.

Is wand any good? Like good enough you don’t need to multiweapon to clear content? And if you do multiweapon it, I’m assuming talis would be the best? I’ve never played Techter before, but have always been interested since a lot of nice sword camos go for it, and sorta turns you into a spell blade lol
With high level augments and gear with wand/jb TeBo you can clear all content solo. Though it's not necessarily a smooth ride compared to other classes that have it easier. Talis isn't a bossing weapon and from the looks of it, it might never be.
Personally you would never find me down ther during that Dark Falz phase. I use wind compound, Wand Love or the ult to go to an upper hand and then just stick to it with wandlovers. After the phase ends I will be super high in the air free to perma spam spells till the boss breaks and I come down.
Using wand lovers would produce substantially less damage / dps overall.
You could use wind compound into wand counter. But you are better off timing ice compound into wand counter chains as that would effective be the highest damage option.
@@Einhander Yeah it's not about top dps just about being savf and on the top of the skybox because it is fun.

Skill bar, breakdown of your combat style best techs to use...the works. You are the best tech user I have seen. Also love the keyblade chaser look you have. All around W.

I do have a video on my skill aka sub pallete break down that is still fairly accurate. And for techs well you don't really use them as techer.
Gizonde is very experimental and the other techs don't give techter anything the class can actively use outside of certain cases where you have to hit at range or compound technique follow up.
But combat style I think I can figure some voice over commentary.

I'm really curious how good wand would be if there was a PvP mode in NGS~
But why play techter in the first place? The game is easy in a team regardless of comp and solo techter has very low damage in a game where damage is all that matters.
A glutton for punishment guised in the enjoyment of the playstyle that gets weighed down by " but it's a support class" nonsense.
