【PSO2NGS】Techter EX Augment Demonstration: Endure Pain PB Boost (Read Description)

This EX Augment is the talk of the town (at least one of them). However, for Techter what it provides may be more of a QoL than a game changer.
Condition 1: No PB Gain Te/Fo
Condition 2: PB Gain Te/Fo
Condition 3: PB Gain Te/Bo
What we see is that the no PB Gain condition is about 10 seconds slower than the PB Gain conditions. However, all conditions were able to use PB during the following down. Down occurs roughly 15-18 seconds after Condition1 and 25 seconds after Conditions 2 and 3.
This suggest that PB Gain is not necessarily a game changer. More of a QoL than anything (still useful). Note: These conditions use Eredim Lvl 1 Potential (5% PB Charge), so there might be some timing issues that occur across different boss battles.
Secondly, we see that Gradual Pressing (in all 3 conditions) does not increase downs fast enough to disrupt PB usage, which would require Endure Pain PB. I hypothesized that Te/Bo would have issues, but to my surprise it performed well outside of the first down.
In my opinion, this EX Aug is not a main weapon augment for Techter., but could be a nich mule weapon. While it does ensure the likelihood of effective PB usage there are times where it might not matter. With that said, there may certain content where using PB ASAP is valuable. Dark Falz Dalion being one of those situations.
However, once you use your first PB you are locked to a 90 second cooldown removing much if not all of the value from the augment. You could use PB faster to get your next PB faster, but that might mean using PB at a non-optimal time (not during down) in most fights, but not all. Having a faster PB to get another is not always better and might not change much of anything for Techter
The Photon Blast system kind of jails this augment, making it a bit deceptive. For classes that are slow to build PB this is not as much of an issue. With that said, it has a niche use, but you will need to be aware of when it has a purpose if you want to invest into it.
The other issue is if you want to maximize damage you will need to remove Gradual Pressing for Hysterical Strength. I can't say for sure if that is good trade.
