So I got the AFV centurion mk3 Korean war. It came with so many unnecessary parts like parts from the centurion mk1. I honestly could have built this version bc it came with the fume extractor on the gun barrel. Do you know if this is common for AFV to borrow parts from other kits?
surprisingly enough it actually is. like for the Stryker I did, the M2 0.50 cal is actually from a different kit. in general it seems like AFV club tries to reduce the amount of molds they cut, and thereby reduce costs.
For this video I was using some eBay brand of rubber-reinforced superglue, but I have since switched to VMS superglue, and am very happy with the results I’m getting there
Every afv club centurion comes with a mantlet cover it's not the nice aftermarket afv club one it's the black 5 peice rubber vinyl one that should be in the kit the shot kals have them Definitely mine do! But I use the other one the slide Moulded one but yeah should have had it on a black vinyl sprue! It's nice enough when all put together and on! Amusing hobbys centurions are not bad too I've been trying them out lately they have 2 shot kals now the Gimal ones the nicest and the AVRE but afv clubs still have that lead on the best centurion on the market! Can't believe there new AVRE mk5 isn't out yet though! The Amusing hobby mk5/1 is the one still with the early 17 pounder barrel on it no fume extracter but it is all accurate for the 4th RTR centurion in Germany they are basing it on! It is a recommended kit if you haven't yet built one! No horrid rubber tyres either!
I was dissatisfied with the main gun going up, but thank you for teaching me how to make a canvas. I should apply it to Russian tanks later on. Thank you !!!
If you don't like to super detail your builds, the Alec 0.2 'Holly' scribing tool can really help bring out definition of some parts. You can 'lift' handles or wires with out usual surrounding damage.Undercutting plates and hatches is easy as it has a canted edge.
Never seen torch cuts like that on a Cent. Plus you didn't remove the seam around the top of turret. Maybe do more research to help you improve on things unless you're happy to build OOB.
oob? Also, this was an older kit, I built it like a year ago, so its not up to my standards now. a lot of it was idealized and I was just trying techniques on it. Once I get back into releasing videos you'll see that my build style does not match this now.

Hello, super video! Whatsappje kind of black superplie did you use?

Is talcum powder better for the tank mantlet
It probably would be, but I didn't have any unfortunately
Where did u get the super glue applicator from,
In this case I think I just made it, but recently I’ve moved to just using a wire applicator, which works great!
Does the kit also come with a plastic molded gun?
No it does not, surprisingly

Lookin good so far! With the texture, it REALLY makes it look like heavy steel! Also, what brand is the black super glue you’re using?
It’s some random superglue I bought off eBay, it’s called Hyper Bond 160cps thin black rubber reinforced cyanoacrylate adhesive.
@@TheScaleEngineer thanks lol
Sure thing!
How does this channel have less than 1500 subscribers? Great, informative videos that move right along.
thanks!
Very impressive work. Great to see

I’ll have to take a look!
The exhaust tail pipe on the Cents where not set vertical, always horizontal. Nice build, about to start my one.
I thought so! The instructions explicitly said to put them vertical.
Great video my friend looking really nice so far stay safe 👍🙏
Thanks!
Thanks for the post.
Awesome video help me a lot whit the details my friend

Nice building. Also, it's so real.
Thanks!
Great video. I enjoyed the techniques you applied
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
Maybe, not naming the video the same as Night Shift would get more subs.
Which video did he name like that?
Ah, you mean the t-26 build video? Yeah, he released that after me, so if anything, he copied me
