I like Redguards and used a lot of race changes when they were best in slot because I like the way they look, but now they’re obsolete with the exception of being ok at tanking.
I think role play and looks are more important than min/maxing stats. The stats will change anyway every few months, so I just go with something that fits my character's story...
Min/maxing only matters when you’re doing the absolute hardest veteran endgame content. Otherwise, your race doesn’t make a massive difference. PVE overland questing is already so ridiculously easy, which is what the majority of players are doing in the first place. You don’t need to stress about min/maxing unless you want to do the challenging endgame content
I just go Argonian and play as the scaliest boy around, be as an shifty Assassin, an Green Dragonknight, or an Pale Dragon Templar. I just love Argonians :^D
Honestly, this made me feel better about my character. My first and main character in ESO is a Breton Warden because my favorite race in elder scrolls is Breton and I love the nature theme of wardens. I played as a dps, but always felt like I wasn’t doing good enough. I used to think my problem was that I picked the worst race/class combination. But when you went through your thoughts on a race/class combination and put Bretons with wardens, that got me really excited, not going to lie. I haven’t really thought about trying healing though, I might give that a shot! Thank you so much for making me feel better about my favorite character!
I still love my main toon, a cute little female Bosmer night blade. I got my master thief and grand master crafter on her and she will always be my favorite, even though I now have all nine races(no imperial yet) 💜
Lore-wise, Redguard as a Necormancer is the most perverse, meanest class assignment a person can think of. Doesn't mean there aren't any, just means that it's messed up to make a Redguard a Necro. Withered Hand being the exception.

My favorite for group content, Magplar High Elf; My favorite for solo content, Stamblade Wood elf. The wood elf is just too much fun zipping around the map at a blistering pace.
The thing people don’t realize about Breton is that while you don’t have spell damage as a race buff it just means you can put it in your gear where other mag toons have to balance sustain there.
This is what my argument is for Wood Elves. They give you 2k stamina, and 1000k penetration so they do help with dmg and the extra stam along with the stam recovery means you get epic recovery too. If I play Khajit I struggle for resources so have to give up damage somewhere in order to get it which I don’t have to on the wood elf. But with the wood elf I can fall from a great height and not hurt myself, I can move fast due to the movement speed buff, I have penetration and I have resources.

I learned I like tanking. Because I haven't bought Imperial, my favorite tank races are Dunmer, Nord, and Orc. Personally my favorite class is Necromancer because of the self sustain and great choice for resource management no matter what race you pick.
Deltia just a correction for your guide: when you say Altmer has Max stat, spell damage and magicka sustain it’s actually stamina sustain when you play a magicka build. It restores the lowest of your max resource. It is worded oddly in game but when it was changed it was tested extensively on pts and that how it operates. So magicka spec you restore stamina and if a stamina spec you will restore magicka when using the Spell Recharge passive
@@dragonhunter2001 Such a passive would make sense for hybrid builds. Altmers were, AFAIK, never supposed to be "multipurpose" races like Dunmer or Khajiit, rather specialists of magic, so it's odd they went for this.

I’m sorry delta, I love you and your content, but placing Nord and Argonian over Imperial for tanking is INSANE! Back in the day, maybe… but in the current patch, absolutely no way!
I love Imperial and use it on a couple of my characters but I couldn’t imagine changing my DK tank to an imperial. I love Nord too much. The cost reduction from imperial would be nice, but the ultimate generation and extra resistances from Nord are just too good for a tank
@@SunBro_Talos I see what you're saying, I'd argue that the imperials cost reduction also affects the total ultimate needed to use an ult, effectively also having more "ult regen", and the higher health and stam pool I feel is more useful than some resistances that aren't overly difficult to stack! If we're talking PvP maybe you could argue Nords, but in PvE there is no competition, imperial takes it all day every day
@@tantrumtv4270 I definitely see where you’re coming from. I’ll probably try out imperial on my tank. But I do really like using a decisive one handed sword so my ult gen can get really high, especially when paired with igneous shields every 6 seconds. Might be worth a try though 🤔
@@SunBro_Talos what some people don't realise my friend is that the imperials cost reduction applies to EVERYTHING!
NP, just my opinion go with whatever you enjoy!
Not only skill cost and ultimate cost, but also things like CC breaking, block cost, dodge roll etc, all of that is also reduced by their passive, making sustain infinitely better on imperial! It's just so perfect for tanking
People who flip races based on skill are absolut ridiculous sorry^^. Play whatever you like and what you find cool. Don’t listen to this nonsense
lol so you agree with him then when he basically said you have to live with it so choose what you like the look of it's a good video
