I agree with you Jim, I've never really been able to put my finger on it until now but the lack of consistent art styling is what detracts from more than a few games for me. Thanks for pointing it out.
I love the level design. Especially that part where it was difficult to tell the background from the foreground. I would usually find that to be fucking annoying but it was kind of trippy so I forgive it. It was like Dizzardolph Lizzardungren was jumping along the brushstrokes of a painting.
I think it's a mole or hedgehog you play as, but Dolph Lundgren Lizard is more fun for sure. Actually that sounds like it'd be a great new Pokémon. Lundgrenizard... er... Lizundgren? Dolphgrenizund? No, that last one sounds too much like a thing in an uninspired fantasy RPG. I've seen someone play the demo for this before. It looks pretty charming and I didn't know it was out. I'll have have to keep this one in mind.
Not sure if it was just my monitor but I could hardly make out was happening for much of that, it was all so dark. Didn't help that the character was so small or that there were vines in the way. Not very scary or creepy either, at least not this segment; maybe it gets better later on.
This game looks kind of neat, in a very very rough kind of way, but......... but in what way is it horror? So baffled by the opening text. It feels like they were planning to make a horror game, got two screens in and decided to make Limbo instead.
I think you might need a new controller? I have seen footage of another person playing this and they did not seem to have the same issues you are having. They also use a controller.
Maybe it alters the tips if you have a controller plugged in? A lot of games alter the "back" and "select" options to have their respective button represented when using a controller.

"Let's jump in, that what we do here"
...unless we're doing a super guide.

Tootle butts is my favorite so far. Great vid, as usual, man.
i FUCKIN love this channel
I hate games where you can't even see the traps until after they've killed you.

PressFartToContinue is missing from a second comments section in a row. I worry...
those opening lines sound like the lyrics to an early linkin park song

I dunno for sure but I think the issue you were having was trying to toss the box while you were jumping.

I thought you were a hamster with sunglasses.
IT was a frog with singlasses

I AM A TOOTLE BUTT!!!!!!
The game feels off somehow, probably the incoherent art style as you mentioned. Doesn't seem terrible but not particularly interesting either.
So based on the tips this game is a console game? If not, why the fuck does it give contorller tips?
