Bear in mind a lot of people don't watch this channel because of the bags - there's lots of bags and bag reviewers - but because they like your intelligent but enthusiastic personality and laid back presentation. Don't think you have to go all high tech - You could be chatting about rabbit hutches and we'd still watch. If you want to change it up a bit, some video from your adventures would be great.

As some others have said, your laid back, yet still enthusiastic presentation style makes your videos very enjoyable to watch for me as well. Your reviews and opinions always seem to be well thought out and I suspect most of us don't mind the occasional mistakes here and there, so don't fret about making sure the videos are always perfect. The minor mistakes mean you're human. That said, it makes sense to take breaks so you don't burn yourself out and let other important things in life slip away. I'd like to see you continue to post reviews, but some videos of your adventures mixed in would definitely be fun to watch as well.

The Mountainborn only puts out videos every few months and I still watch those. Sometimes quality over quantity is what matters, regardless of what the algorithm is pushing.

I’ll miss the regular output as it’s become part of my life! Take as long as you need. Make the vids you want when you want. Is that sustainable? Include family in the projects (if they’d want to?) I think you’ve built up a loyal following who will support you and stay with you whenever you post. Have some great adventures this summer! Look after yourself and those you love. Love that HMG pack; interestingly their frameless packs work for me, but their framed are a no go. I had the Skyline, but flipped it as it’s just not large enough for my frame.

I only recently found you in the last couple of months, and have really come to appreciate your content more than others when it comes to bags. I know a lot of your decision comes down to time investment, but if the financial investment is worth it, I would encourage you to keep at it. One thing that I find useful in my bag search is not only features, but load outs and functionality. Think actual use-case for a bag throughout an event. If you're looking to pivot, it might be worth going that direction - I think you have a unique perspective to travel as a pilot that you could capitalize on.

Quick thought is review the stuff you like (or think you'd like) and skip the "they sent this in for review" stuff that you might be then obligation reviewing. The 👨✈️ stuff was fun but I imagine there's limits to what you can show and talk about.
