      I have tried on the CTB20 in my local Evergoods stockist shop and i love it. Here are my thoughts. It's the smaller version from the CTB26 in every sense and the amazing thing is Evergoods slightly reduced the height and the width but the depth is more or less the same. I may get the CTB20 hopefully in a different colour when it restocks in October. I still love my CTB26 in OD Green but only for travel use.

    Thanks JB. Can’t decide between the CTB20 and CPL16. Just need a grab ‘n go bag to carry edc stuff. Not a work bag and no laptop. I will use it for CCW along with my edc. I guess it will likely come down to which becomes available for purchase first. Hoping for a colab version of CTB20 around the holidays. Thanks for the great content JB.

      I use the CPL16 for that mode...I like the smaller size and slimmer carry. But if you need water bottle pockets then you need the CTB

      @ChaseWatkins. 26 днів тому

      If you don’t need a laptop, check out the MPL22 (I have mine in ecopak and love it). Has bottle pockets, a few pockets for edc items and a clamshell opening. Plus, no wasted space from a padded laptop compartment.

    After picking up the CPL16 the CTB20 came out. At first I was a bit miffed. But the CPL16 works out great as a work/minimal EDC bag, so I don’t know if I need the CTB20 (but I do love that top panel pocket!)
    I have the PLC20 that I’ll be taken on a cruise as an excursion bag. (You gave me an aha moment when you showed me how the PLC and MPL were of the same design logic, thanks!)
    I may consider getting the CTB20 for my wife.

I leave it at the office all week, so I take it on Mondays and Fridays, so the CPL 16 is prob the best fit. Other than the top pocket, they are VERY similar and I do like the sleekness of the Cpl 16.. IDK I think I will buy both.....

      @JBOutside1 ive heard you say that a lot JB, which I get where your coming from. but when I pack into a 2.2lb bag, then transfer into say a canvas bag same size and its 4.3lbs, its not about like... carrying an extra 2ish lbs, for me its a noticeable difference when it hits the back. like that moment of "wow" happens and so for me thats why the weight is a thing. I dont think from 2lbs to 2.5 is a thing, but if bags are 2ish lbs, then you go into 4.5lbs, I feel like I 10000% FEEEEEEL the difference for sure.
