Sledge Chesterfield not as it's referred to today. in ordinary instances it is interchangeable with dry humor, but this "meh" routine just gets old really quickly imo. i find it too obviously disingenuous. all started with the crap american version of the office

Aubrey and her sister came over the next day and though her mom mentioned she was going to see her daughter on a talk show I didn't recognize her and good thing because I'm a HUGE fan now! She reminds me so much of a friend of mine who was an old movie star in Hollywood. Her name was Virginia O'Brien and she starred alongside an early Lucille Ball and Red Skelton. Virginia's comedic act was deadpan and Aubrey carries that torch in Hollywood.
