The weird thing is that I don't think Kevin and Tim would work well together. They both have their thing with Conan and those are vastly different things. Both highly enjoyable but I think the styles would clash too much and Conan would not be able to switch back and forth.

Absolutely right that Conan either talks about himself or gets into a bit, and the guest gets about 10% of the conversation -- Olyphant gets his percentage up to maybe 15.
It will never not be funny to watch Conan repeatedly lose the plot and Timothy hilariously get it back on track.

I have to agree with Conan's assessment of Olyphant's "dry" delivery. One of my favorite examples of this was in "Gone In 60 Seconds" when Timothy Olyphant delivers the relatively plot-irrelevant line to a couple of (extra) cops sitting in a wrecked cop car, "Are you okay? Are you sure, because you just went through a f*cking wall!"
Conan is really Letterman’s successor and Tim really kills it again. I would have loved to hear him ask Conan how long he has wanted to be an actor and then lost what roles he could have played. Conan as John Wick. Replacing Charleston Heston as Moses.

This is one of those podcasts where having the visual (particularly Conan's facial expressions) just elevates it that much more. God, Tim is so funny when he's on. And agreed @ 2:58 - hope Conan really does write that book.

It’s just really noticeable when the camera switches between them that Tim is very good-looking.😅 Conan has no ego about it, he is the first to admit the fact. Charm and charisma-wise, they’re probably equal.
The blue lighting is really flattering for Tim's clothes and complexion. It amps up his cool silvery look and feel.

I've just today subscribed to Hulu to watch justified to say I love it would be an understatement. My fist exposure to this actor Timothy Oliphant was on the conan show. The two of them together are episodes I watch all the time just like the norm macdonald episodes.
