- BoostDoctor knew he was going to put on a show when he entered into the Heavy Weights class at SCT Charlotte. With 1300hp at his disposal, he was making 9 second cars look SLOW! This twin turbo 427ci Box Chevy was our favorite car at the event, hands down!

@@shmoofgang For a rear wheel drive drag racing car, if traction is poor due to a poor surface, or sub-optimal rear suspension or tires, adding weight to the rear of the car will increase traction at the drive wheels. Most guys would put some ballast in the trunk, but this guy bolted it directly to the rear axle so that it doesn't affect the performance of the springs and shocks, being unsprung weight. Check out Beater Bomb on UA-cam, he's added weight on a steel outrigger that hangs well beyond the rear bumper.

@@dolusanyaibukuntraining8544 yessir. Most of these style cars are 4000+ lbs, when they are capable of going 8s with 26s you just can’t not respect it. It’s very impressive, in a full frame car, with stock style suspension.

Videos show other drivers lifting to let him win, time boards behaving irregular so the race goes his way, etc etc. He's a good talker and knows how to make a dollar, but his cars are overrated.
