Waivers mean nothing in court when you as a promoter allow them to stand in a danger zone, you would think nobody would want to be anywhere near a 150mph wheel/tire doing a burnout and potential for it to come off and unalive 2-10 people but they dont seem to care lol
When that truck skidded off the end into the grass the people picnicking at the end are luckyy it stopped so quick. They mush have been a little nervous.
Fred's camera, watch, phone, radio, and ear buds being on so long and batteries going dead would've been a great promo for that battery bank sponsor haha
Seeing Cali Nates MLP Mustang being raced brought a tear to my eye. I remember him and Ryan Mitchell racing at Yello Belly and it was probably one of the coolest races i've ever seen. I'm so glad that car is still being kept alive to race another day.
I have never seen anything like this. Constant action and insane drivers and spectators. The people standing right next to the cars when they are doing their burnouts reminds me of the spectators watching WRC cars go by at more than 100 mph while standing right next to the road. I love it.
Fred is such a badass running on no sleep still knocking out the driver interviews and keeping the commentary flowing....the 1320 crew is second to none!!
Need to talk with Tommy Hoskinson. He's super humble but kid can drive! He will give his brother Billy a run for his money! He's responsible for most of their wins last year. He does a majority of their filming and editing, then sets the camera down and gets behind the wheel like it's no big thing. He is the epitome of "beware of the quiet guy"
God it always hurt watching cars get smashed. The time and effort someone put into these cars just for it to go out the window in seconds. That’s just the name of the game I guess.
I think I have watched every series 1320 has done at this track and this is the tamest one. This track is absolute madness, high stakes and high rewards for whoever has the bigger balls to stay on the throttle and pedal the crap out of their cars. Brown County is such a fitting name for this gem of a track!
it’s fun but it’s usually a super long nights, once small tire starts it’s usually about 10 minutes between every race, gone 4 times and never even got through a full one, some times it can be 45 mins or over an hour of down time for no reason at all then they randomly take off like nothing
I was at this race for my first War in the Woods and let me tell you it is such an experience. I’ve been to a lot of big name no prep/back of the track events and this one is in a world of its own. Cannot wait for the next one.

I need the jobs these racers have. I can barely afford performance parts for my gen6 Camaro SS and I have almost zero debt and these guys busting out with two cars worth about $100,000 each.
I'd guess a lot of these folks run a car related business and the race car is a somewhat hidden business expense. So it's much more tax efficient. Plus they have all the facilities to work on the cars and people to help. I'd also expect drag racing is all they do, no other sports, no fancy holidays, no college funds.. just drag racing.

It makes really good sense actually. The surface is the limiting factor. A 2000+ small tire car cannot put 2000 horsepower down at this track and it would be really hard to run down a 1000+ hp AWD car that's got 100 or more feet out right off the line. At a prepped track it's different, sure.

LMAO i thought the same thing looking at both front ends pushed into the drivers seat
Would've been funny if he interviewed them, asking if they're gonna call it a night, what's left of the cars being towed away in the background.
