Woke up too early this morning after not a restful or long enough sleep. My mind started racing and anxieties rose sharply as I tried to find that last hour of sleep. When a half hour passed like this I remembered your meditations which I have enjoyed before. A mental and neurological reset was just what I needed. I got that last half hour of deep rest without having to be fully asleep again. Your yoga nidra is subtly different than others I’ve practiced with because of the intention of “reset “ which is very precise and accurate for what my state of mind is (anxiety, overthinking, negativity about my life) when I wake up each morning. Thank you again.
It’s so strange to wake up in a panic. You’d think we’d be most relaxed upon waking. In the last 18 months I lost my husband, mom and dad…I started waking with anxiety. All I can do is get out of bed…trying to stay in bed just amplifies the situation 🙁

Hi Ally, you meditation video are fantastic. I first heard about Yoga Nidra from the Huberman podcast. I have been practicing for 2 months and it has been an amazing experience. I work night shifts and have 4 kids so being able to sleep for a few hours and then "top it off" with one of your meditations has allowed me to wake up rested and with more time to spend with my family. Thank you for all the work you put into your videos.
My intention: I am healthy in all layers of my being (body, spirit, emotional, mind/intellect, social, & even financial) and I am able to transfer this to my sweet son (who is 8 months old today ♥️). I have had a diagnosed condition called CRPS. Which just means chronic pain and bearable pain for four years that I found you on UA-cam a few weeks ago now I’ve been sick with some kind of horrible virus for over a week. Thank you thank you for this reset. I feel that the pain is so much better. I am healing quickly.

My yoga teacher also does a 30 minute guided yoga Nidra practise after the yoga class. The class is full! This is at a Nuffield health club. People obviously need this relaxation in their lives. I first practised yoga Nidra in 2009 I was working in a health centre spa and the yoga teacher who was from India introduced it to me. He was actually offering yoga Nidra classes and calling it Pyschic sleep. These practises have been in Indian traditions for many years. @@saraj2499 hey! I’m doing great! I still do nidra every single afternoon. It has changed my life. I also did a large dose of psilocybin in August of 22. I haven’t had any PTSD symptoms since then. I’m like 95% healed. I have to be careful to keep my nervous system calm daily or it can get out of control, but it’s manageable now. I’m living my best life. Work is good, friendships are good, I’m dating, I’m traveling. It took 4 1/2 years of very hard work and I’m through to the other side now. I hope you’re doing well. 😁

Hi Ally, thanks so much for this. I found you only recently and have been playing this video regularly since. Thought I’d share my experience last night. I was out camping and spent the whole evening enjoying the weather and watching all the things nature has to offer. I turned into my swag, watching the lightning light up the ocean as low clouds moved across the stars. With these images in mind, I listened to your guidance. I confess I didn’t concentrate the whole time as the rain came pattering down and thunder struck around me. As you talked about the waves from the body heading out to the ocean, I really felt that immensely and from then on, everything you said was exactly how I was experiencing things. It was truly magical, and I felt blessed to be able to tune into your words from a small beach in central coast, Australia. Everything was at once alive and connected. Thank you for you videos, helping my body recover from long covid. Your yoga nidras are helping me be still in the loving arms of God and know he is holding me. I change the sencopa and intentions to remember who I am in Jesus and rest completely in him because of what Jesus did on the cross for me. I am precious in his sight and loved just as I am. I found this meditation to be so comforting. I was able to be so deep within my consciousness and my body, connecting with my nervous system so deeply. This is the type of meditation I crave bc I experience severe chronic pain and it helps remind me that my body is in my control. It is working for me. I can’t wait to try more of your meditations

@@saraj2499 hey! I’m doing great! I still do nidra every single afternoon. It has changed my life. I also did a large dose of psilocybin in August of 22. I haven’t had any PTSD symptoms since then. I’m like 95% healed. I have to be careful to keep my nervous system calm daily or it can get out of control, but it’s manageable now. I’m living my best life. Work is good, friendships are good, I’m dating, I’m traveling. It took 4 1/2 years of very hard work and I’m through to the other side now. I hope you’re doing well. 😁

Hi Ally, thanks so much for this. I found you only recently and have been playing this video regularly since. Thought I’d share my experience last night.
I was out camping and spent the whole evening enjoying the weather and watching all the things nature has to offer. I turned into my swag, watching the lightning light up the ocean as low clouds moved across the stars. With these images in mind, I listened to your guidance. I confess I didn’t concentrate the whole time as the rain came pattering down and thunder struck around me. As you talked about the waves from the body heading out to the ocean, I really felt that immensely and from then on, everything you said was exactly how I was experiencing things. It was truly magical, and I felt blessed to be able to tune into your words from a small beach in central coast, Australia. Everything was at once alive and connected. Just wanted to thank you for this experience.

First timer here so thank you algorithm 😂 Typically when I use guided stuff like this I fall right asleep (in a good way), but HOLY COW to be able to be so close to sleep and relaxed and yet still be awake and feel even more alert was a FIRST and I will be using this a LOT!! 😍😍😍

Yoga Nidra has changed my life. I have been practicing meditation for years and I struggled with taking it deeper and yoga Nidra changed that. It also helps me with resetting my nervous system. I learned of it within a group. My intention is: I embrace the unknown!

Thank you for you videos, helping my body recover from long covid. Your yoga nidras are helping me be still in the loving arms of God and know he is holding me. I change the sencopa and intentions to remember who I am in Jesus and rest completely in him because of what Jesus did on the cross for me. I am precious in his sight and loved just as I am.

I found this meditation to be so comforting. I was able to be so deep within my consciousness and my body, connecting with my nervous system so deeply.
