I’d like to imagine that this what plays in Aubrey’s head after Sunny moved out, processed the truth, and decided to officially reconnect with Kel, Hero, and Basil. Her and the Hoolagins turn a new leaf and become a group of former delinquents that now actively help protect their neighborhood. The Faraway Town Patrol Squad. Helping out their beloved community in anyway they can.
I don’t think kel is necessarily happy, I think he just either isn’t showing how he truly feels, or is the best at dealing with his feelings and is understanding
@@LunarJaguar I think he kind of drowned his feelings about what happened as a defensive mechanism and moved on, so he's not really happy but isn't sad either
How about this is an au where Aubrey at first is happy until she finds out the same day that sunny scribbled out the photos and then we could have the good ending. Problem solved

I don't know what it is about this song, but I've had it on loop for over 9 hours at one point and I still never get tired of it. Perfect background music ♡
[ SPOILERS ] Ok, just a bit of a personal experience, but this fight hit me hard on the feels. but i think other than the situation it was put on, the things that slowly hit me more and more in the feelings was the church quotes like... just look at them : "Look at her clothing... It is totally innapropriate for Church" - That counts as discrimination, she dresses the way she wants, and also this was her place to mourn over years, it must've felt really bad just having that whole place turn against you... "What do these Deliquents think they're doing ? This is a place of Worship !" - If people only knew what happened before judging... "Aubrey ; Why... Why now ?" - She felt abandoned by all her friends, yes i know that they were all dealing with mari's death on their own, but when she finally got over it, hen she finally found ( maybe not the most appropriate ) a group of friends and moved on, thats when they chose to be there for her, thats when they appear. Must've hurt being haunted for so long by a thing you thought you already got over... "Did she really bring a Weapon here ? How uncivilized" - They are just legit at this point treating her like scum, like she isnt even a human being, and Kel is LITERALLY using a basketball as a weapon, they talk about her but not about him ? "Someone needs to stop them, where are their parents ?" - Ok, Kel had his Dad and Mom but what about Sunny and Aubrey ? Sunny was moving, his mom was taking care of everything far away, and his Dad left them. Aubrey's Mom simply doesnt do anything at all anymore, and her Father left them too... Like... "This Girl is a threat to the Neighborhood, There's no hope for sinners like her !" - Ok i just cant explain how messed up this is, like people talk without knowing what fully happened, and this happens, like literally i have no words for this quote and how badly Aubrey must've felt. "I always thought she'd be trouble, the pastor should've kicked her long ago." - So if you're all believers of god, God always forgives, if this is such a place of worship and forgiveness, why cant you all "worshipers" follow the words of your God ? Like... Some of the next quotes im not sure if they are really there, but i remember seeing them ; "Ever since her father left, she has been uncontrolable, i feel bad for her mother." - SERIOUSLY ? SHE LITERALLY HAD TO GO THROUGH ALOT OF SH*T ALL ALONE, THEIR FATHER LEFT THEM, AND HER MOTHER IS THE ACTUAL ONE WHO DOESNT DO SH*T ANYMORE, AND THEY HAVE THE- i have NO WORDS to describe how mad i got at this quote.
I agree with most of what you said but here's the sad truth. They just don't have context of their lives. The part about sinners or how she dresses is probally the worst thing they say. But in terms of everything else, they don't exactly have the context about every single little detail of Aubreys life. If you saw someone bring a baseball bat with nails in it into a public place and start to fight two people around their age, there's a pretty decent chance you'd have a similar reaction to how they did just minus the religious part. I think that's the true sadness of the scene, though. Just how (mostly) real it is and how in the real world that it's along the lines of how most people would react.
their reaction is realistic, tho if you have a negative reaction to trauma you're obviously gonna inherit bad traits, thus making you want to take out your anger on two kids with a bat with nails on them, meanwhile basketballs can't even kill someone besides while He forgives all ppl don't have a moral obligation to forgive you just because you went through stuff, we aren't god in the same aspect
I've always thought that quotes are form the MIND OF AUBREY. She expend a lot of time there, so she knows what are the church people belives. Maybe she is judging herself of what she is making with she own life(or Intensifying what they are saying). I don't know. Aubrey and everyone are in a difficult situation.
this music makes me feel like it would be easier if i would be forgotten, and this music was the only memory of me, regarding my complicated feelings of lonellines and suffering. "that lonely girl"
hey there!! hope youre feeling alright, hang in there pal :) im not really sure what youre facing but please remember it'll eventually be better if you keep moving forward :D
I was listening to Lavos’ compilation of lofies while doing my work and this rendition of the song really caught my ear. Beautiful work. Thank you for making it. Keep on keeping on!
I imagine this is Aubrey's theme when Sunny comes back to visit Faraway after he moves out in the good ending. Aubrey's still a moody delinquent, and there's still some lingering feelings over what happened 4+ years ago (plus I'd imagine her home life wouldn't have gotten much better, if at all). But after learning the truth from everyone-what happened to Mari from Sunny and Basil, and why Kel and Hero never kept in touch for four years-she's managed to settle her (let's not forget, VERY justified) angst down at least a few notches. And with the help of her friends, old and new, to Aubrey, It Means Everything.
After seeing the game and as a christian myself, I have a few things to say about the church. 1. That's one good Pastor, tying to be there for her. 2. K dang everyone, she might be breaking your denominations rules, and fighting in a sacred place but seriously, leave God to do the Judging. 3. Uhhh, after point 2, your technically sinning, but Idk ask your pastor.
it seems that I used the wrong version for my homework let's see if this time I can send it without tears in the important parts (it actually happened)
Can't help but think I am just hanging out at Aubrey's bar place. who she is the owner of the bar and all grown up while this song plays on the jukebox. Also she is giving us stories of her younger days what happened.

in alternative universe aubrey didnt become violence and excited about sunny going outside
a lot of the plot would change, possibly not allowing sunny to overcome some of his phobias. it would also make the ending a lot less sadder
@@BaundoSuta Not allowing him to overcome his fears would lock you into neutral or bad, forcing it to be sadder.
Auby becomes violence itself.
