In the scenes where Basil is walking with the rest of the gang in a straight line, he's the only one who looks around while everyone else looks in the same direction just about straight forward. It feels like it's Omori leading everyone along his way to achieving his goals but Basil is unable to continue following and ends up at the truth everytime.
I love how the singer sounds like he’s on the brink of breaking down into tears instead of singing the lyrics straight. It adds an extra layer to an already well put together song.
It makes me feel convinced SUNNY is the one singing it instead of MARI, since some quotes such as: "Endless dreaming", "Endless nightmare", and "End this nightmare". He would probably also break down into tears singing a song like this, especially with the part with MARI probably behind him as a ghost but sadly only we see her.

It's sad to think thag not even once, Sunny or anything from the real world was shown. Basically saying that he's still endlessly dreaming. And doesn't want to wake up from the dreamworld, while also wanting to wake up from his creeping nightmares, but still can't.

I like how the animation depicts a more expressive OMORI, rather than the typical bats eyelashes, blank stare we get. Although this is most likely because the OMORI in the animation is under Sunny's influence and/or control. (The only time OMORI is ever expressive throughout the game is when Sunny is in control of him, which is evident through the games battle system. Otherwise, he's totally emotionless and doesn't really do anything when Sunny doesn't merge with him until the final part of the game.)

Now that I know it’s the omori route, the part at 3:55 feels so sad to me. Sunny was so close, he was at the red hands part. Just a couple more hours and he would find the truth, but no. He decided that he couldn’t take it and decided to flee back to the dream world. It breaks me that Sunny was so close and then just returns.

Ooo I think this song actually goes the Hikikomori route! Despite Mari's encouragement, and Omori eventually wishing to end "this nightmare", we never see Sunny wake up. The fact that Omori even wishes to escape the nightmare shows it's too late. His world, and the video, have already started corrupting. Instead of going out into Faraway town, Omori searches for answers deeper into his mind, but never wants to work through his trauma, constantly expressing how much he loves Headspace. And of course, the very end where we see the red hands and the final confrontation with Basil. After all that, Omori returns to the wonders of Headspace, and we're left to see the broken violin, the aching memories of Sunny's past, that finally die with Basil.

there's something so jarring about seeing omori visibly afraid. he's supposed to be the protector, the shield between sunny and the truth. seeing his facade crack, however? beautifully terrifying. mad respect, this song and animation are great

This is really cool... [ Spoilers ] It shows a point of view from OMORI, which in the end, we all antagonized him by alot, but if we had to protect Sunny from everything he did for 4 years, we'd probably do the same mistake, and he probably felt stressed sometimes, just didnt show it, since after all, he's a 12/13 years old as well, i feel like he did his best, and when everything started to crumble down, he did his best to complete his duty, he was probably fighting for his existence aswell out there, cause if he lost, Sunny had no more need to go back to the dreamworld... I can’t believe it’s already been 2 years… during the summer 2 years ago, I would stay up late, when no one else in the house was awake, and experiencing this song and video in the night’s atmospheric blanket of darkness has created one of my favorite memories. There’s nothing quite like it, and I’m so grateful this masterpiece exists.

I always thought of this bit as: OMORI “alone” at the Headspace beach, just wanting to always stay in Headspace. MARI’s ghost then comes, trying to confront him. OMORI, or technically Sunny since the “endless nightmare” line just wants to, well, *end this nightmare.* Each time, it gets worse. And worse. And even worse.

@@constellationmaker145 If you didn't already commit oyasumi (which I hope you didn't because that's really unsettling), I know a way to maybe not have endless dreaming but make your dreams the way you want, so that you could use it to live life a little better. It's called lucid dreaming. I'm not an expert but basically there are a few methods to do it, and when you succed you become self aware in the dream and can control it. Look it up on ytb there are a few channels that are entirely based on explaining methods for it. It takes some practice but it pays off for sure.
I like to imagine in this music video is that whenever OMORI's eyes have white dots in them, it's actually Sunny peering into the Dream World himself, because everytime we saw those eyes it was displaying actual emotion, unlike OMORI's constant neutral expression.
There are a few exceptions. One of them, is before Red Space. He shows emotion when his black colour (ayo) is red, cause the red hands. Technically another exception, is EXACTLY two minutes in. He has black dots in his white eyes in this scene, so TECHNICALLY that’s not white dots in black eyes but actually the opposite??? help me Another one, is Sweetheart’s Castle before Sir Maximus the third shows up. (and dies instantly) OMORI’s eyebrows are higher on his head than usual and his eyes are slightly bigger than usual, he also has a small sad smile kinda mouth????? i am going insane Another “technically” type exception, is before the Oyasumi (and the floating mirror) bit. (Talking about when his eyes go from black to red.) Technically it counts. Plus, before the background starts changing OMORI has his eyes closed which I GUESS you could say it’s kind of an emotion???? PLEAS EHELP AAAAAAAAAAA Not tryna be nerdy, just saying there are SOME exceptions that I count.
This song genuinely makes me tear up.. after completing my first playthrough I'm just devastated. SPOILERS When I saw Mari and the lyrics change to "Endless nightmare", it hit me. Sunny has to suffer through the accident even in his dreams and the song really shows that. The last chorus always makes me tear up.. Thank you so much for making this, OR3O.
Oh boy where to start, Ever since Omori became trending in my recommended on UA-cam, I became very curious on what the story is about. But sadly I do not have dosh to buy or have the time to experience the game itself so I resulted in watching Walkthroughs like a filthy pig that I am for not supporting the creator (OMO CAT) hopefully one day once I get the money, I'll buy it and experience it myself. Of course I regretted seeing the game from watching other people play it. I have no excuse for not playing it. However, once I started learning the entire story of Omori, it's overwhelming soundtrack, character dialogue, story, and emotions hit my like a freaking meteor wiping out Earth. I became so intrigued by this game that it cured my depression. Omori had the same vibes as it had with Undertale, such as having a simple yet complex lore to understand. Various themes such as psychological horror, trying to move on with people who are dead, etc. And now listening to this song, is basically an accurate representation on my emotions when looking at this game. I love the flow of the animation, the people who made this music video must've put a lot of time and effort into creating this song. The lyrics are based off of Omori's/Sunny's thoughts and feelings as he struggles to either move on of what happened in the game or conceal himself and create a world in his head to suppress his feelings. I also like to point out how they used the game's sound effects as part of the song as it really fits to Omori's theme. If anything I rate this video a 20/10 for putting in all the effort and also being so passionate to work on creating this video in the first place.

This honestly is fucking amazing. The song flows beautifully from it going from Endless Dreaming, to Endless Nightmare, to End This Nightmare. The start sounds chill and pretty much vibe feels, but the more the song goes on, the more intense the song becomes and the louder it gets. The start of everything seeming like a beautiful dream to near the end having Omori being stressed and in fear. At the end with the piano playing goes well with the entire song. The visuals are beautiful too, Showing the child and dreamy feel great at the start while going into a more scary nightmare feel near the end. The star of the song going " Endless Dreaming " could've easily been just the same walking animation with the same backgrounds, but instead It's different backgrounds of the areas they've been through in the game. The walking animations to each character got it's own charm too. Also that fact that yall have extra details during the entire video ( like a satellite in the blue sky at 1:59 | Or while one of the Sir maximus is being shown, once he attacks two of the dead ones show up right next to him ) is pretty awesome that you have going on there. Love the fact that the song also has sound effects from the game put into the song as well. Overall, everything about this is beautiful man. Everyone who worked on this did a really good job. Note : Just noticed after the Sir Maximus fight in the video, bread is shown most likely because Omori used Bread Slice on him and got that bread. Sir Maximus more like Sir Breadimus.
I hate that I can relate to this song, I lost my father, my grandma and grandpa, and my aunt and so much I've been through like when I was 12 I was kidnapped by my uncle and he abused me because he said it was my fault that my dad died, and almost committed suicide. But I've been doing better after 5 years, I still have nightmares/trauma because of this. Sorry for the long text and so but I needed to say this.

I would like to believe this takes place during the 4 years,headspace is repeating over and over again,and Omori keeps on arriving at the doorstep of the truth. I think so because it shows him having fear going up to the red hands throne. Unlike in the game where he sits on top of it showing little to no emotion.

Your music is so good and addicting! That aside, I love and think how smart the name of the song too. ENDLESS, because Sunny wants to stay dreaming forever, live in the good times he has, the place where "everything is okay", but the good things always won't last, and that's when the nightmare came in. Because he knows "everything is not okay". At first of the song he said, "Don't end this dreaming." But when it comes at the nightmare part, he said, "End this nightmare." But to end a nightmare, you MUST end your dream too, the thing that Sunny doesn't want to end, this resulting the cycle of his dream, ENDLEESS. And I love how the animation shows too. While it views us glimpse of the game, characters, etc., it didn't spoil too much of what the game about, which I think it's genius so those who don't know this game won't be spoiled. Now that I know it’s the omori route, the part at 3:55 feels so sad to me. Sunny was so close, he was at the red hands part. Just a couple more hours and he would find the truth, but no. He decided that he couldn’t take it and decided to flee back to the dream world. It breaks me that Sunny was so close and then just returns.
i had so so so much fun animating this! i loved animating the hair and dress even though it kicked me upside the boot.

Ooo I think this song actually goes the Hikikomori route! Despite Mari's encouragement, and Omori eventually wishing to end "this nightmare", we never see Sunny wake up.
The fact that Omori even wishes to escape the nightmare shows it's too late. His world, and the video, have already started corrupting. Instead of going out into Faraway town, Omori searches for answers deeper into his mind, but never wants to work through his trauma, constantly expressing how much he loves Headspace.
And of course, the very end where we see the red hands and the final confrontation with Basil. After all that, Omori returns to the wonders of Headspace, and we're left to see the broken violin, the aching memories of Sunny's past, that finally die with Basil.

It shows a point of view from OMORI, which in the end, we all antagonized him by alot, but if we had to protect Sunny from everything he did for 4 years, we'd probably do the same mistake, and he probably felt stressed sometimes, just didnt show it, since after all, he's a 12/13 years old as well, i feel like he did his best, and when everything started to crumble down, he did his best to complete his duty, he was probably fighting for his existence aswell out there, cause if he lost, Sunny had no more need to go back to the dreamworld... BUT OVERALL OMFG AMAZING VISUALS, BEAUTIFULL INSTRUMENTAL, GODLY LYRICS AND SINGING.

I can’t believe it’s already been 2 years… during the summer 2 years ago, I would stay up late, when no one else in the house was awake, and experiencing this song and video in the night’s atmospheric blanket of darkness has created one of my favorite memories. @@constellationmaker145 If you didn't already commit oyasumi (which I hope you didn't because that's really unsettling), I know a way to maybe not have endless dreaming but make your dreams the way you want, so that you could use it to live life a little better. It's called lucid dreaming. I'm not an expert but basically there are a few methods to do it, and when you succed you become self aware in the dream and can control it. Look it up on ytb there are a few channels that are entirely based on explaining methods for it. It takes some practice but it pays off for sure.

I like to imagine in this music video is that whenever OMORI's eyes have white dots in them, it's actually Sunny peering into the Dream World himself, because everytime we saw those eyes it was displaying actual emotion, unlike OMORI's constant neutral expression.
There are a few exceptions.
One of them, is before Red Space. He shows emotion when his black colour (ayo) is red, cause the red hands.
Technically another exception, is EXACTLY two minutes in. He has black dots in his white eyes in this scene, so TECHNICALLY that’s not white dots in black eyes but actually the opposite??? help me
Another one, is Sweetheart’s Castle before Sir Maximus the third shows up. (and dies instantly) OMORI’s eyebrows are higher on his head than usual and his eyes are slightly bigger than usual, he also has a small sad smile kinda mouth????? i am going insane

Oh boy where to start,
Ever since Omori became trending in my recommended on UA-cam, I became very curious on what the story is about. But sadly I do not have dosh to buy or have the time to experience the game itself so I resulted in watching Walkthroughs like a filthy pig that I am for not supporting the creator (OMO CAT) hopefully one day once I get the money, I'll buy it and experience it myself. Of course I regretted seeing the game from watching other people play it. I have no excuse for not playing it. However, once I started learning the entire story of Omori, it's overwhelming soundtrack, character dialogue, story, and emotions hit my like a freaking meteor wiping out Earth. I became so intrigued by this game that it cured my depression. Omori had the same vibes as it had with Undertale, such as having a simple yet complex lore to understand. Various themes such as psychological horror, trying to move on with people who are dead, etc.
And now listening to this song, is basically an accurate representation on my emotions when looking at this game. I love the flow of the animation, the people who made this music video must've put a lot of time and effort into creating this song. The lyrics are based off of Omori's/Sunny's thoughts and feelings as he struggles to either move on of what happened in the game or conceal himself and create a world in his head to suppress his feelings. I also like to point out how they used the game's sound effects as part of the song as it really fits to Omori's theme. If anything I rate this video a 20/10 for putting in all the effort and also being so passionate to work on creating this video in the first place.

This honestly is fucking amazing. The song flows beautifully from it going from Endless Dreaming, to Endless Nightmare, to End This Nightmare. The start sounds chill and pretty much vibe feels, but the more the song goes on, the more intense the song becomes and the louder it gets. The start of everything seeming like a beautiful dream to near the end having Omori being stressed and in fear.
At the end with the piano playing goes well with the entire song. The visuals are beautiful too, Showing the child and dreamy feel great at the start while going into a more scary nightmare feel near the end. The star of the song going " Endless Dreaming " could've easily been just the same walking animation with the same backgrounds, but instead It's different backgrounds of the areas they've been through in the game. The walking animations to each character got it's own charm too. Also that fact that yall have extra details during the entire video ( like a satellite in the blue sky at 1:59 | Or while one of the Sir maximus is being shown, once he attacks two of the dead ones show up right next to him ) is pretty awesome that you have going on there. Love the fact that the song also has sound effects from the game put into the song as well. Overall, everything about this is beautiful man. Everyone who worked on this did a really good job.
Note : Just noticed after the Sir Maximus fight in the video, bread is shown most likely because Omori used Bread Slice on him and got that bread. Sir Maximus more like Sir Breadimus.

I hate that I can relate to this song, I lost my father, my grandma and grandpa, and my aunt and so much I've been through like when I was 12 I was kidnapped by my uncle and he abused me because he said it was my fault that my dad died, and almost committed suicide.

That aside, I love and think how smart the name of the song too. ENDLESS, because Sunny wants to stay dreaming forever, live in the good times he has, the place where "everything is okay", but the good things always won't last, and that's when the nightmare came in. Because he knows "everything is not okay".
At first of the song he said, "Don't end this dreaming." But when it comes at the nightmare part, he said, "End this nightmare."
But to end a nightmare, you MUST end your dream too, the thing that Sunny doesn't want to end, this resulting the cycle of his dream, ENDLEESS.
And I love how the animation shows too. While it views us glimpse of the game, characters, etc., it didn't spoil too much of what the game about, which I think it's genius so those who don't know this game won't be spoiled.

I feel like this is what Sunny went through past 4 years and not the hikkikomori route. Stranger did say that he went on the loop of this dream. There's a chance that Stranger did interfere them(?) many times before the in-game timeline.
