Thanks as usual for taking time to give an update! My question on today's topic and how it could be over come- is have you developed a template that you use for the first 1-2 assessments of each new class to immediately feel out the new instructors approach- sort of a pre game if you will...
For sure, I'm on the same page. I always rely on my trusty APA template and use it for both formative and summative assignments. And then I feel out the instructors preferences to writing style and degree of citation in the first competency. For me, the challenge is sussing out what exactly the instructors are looking for in terms of academic writing. It's a bit of a curveball when you feel like you've got a strong handle on things, and then an instructor introduces a whole new writing framework. It's not necessarily a wrong approach - just different and precise. Making it work requires some extra thought and consideration.
Omg, yes it's really that unexpected curveball that rattles momentum😢. That said glad you still motivated and I look forward to your next update as usual!
So happy I came across your video. I am thinking about starting this program but scared, as I am concerned about progress, accreditation, cost and just about everything 😊.

@@SuperTrinastar Thanks Trina! Your comment is helpful. I definitely had a feeling of overwhelm yesterday, but back on my game today :)
