Great encouraging video! It would have been nice if you mentioned the exact name of the note-taking pad so that some who might have to take intensive notes make use of it !
I'm looking at Liberty University's Ph.D in Psychology, Developmental Psychology online. Tuition is very reasonable, and the school has a great reputation. 👍
How is it going for you? I was thinking of that too- did u apply and start the program? I’m also considering the psychology and theology discipline as well.
Looking to start my Doctoral (EDD) journey in January. Excited to get to the mountain top! Im also a retired Navy Vet. Thank you for the advice Sir. Good luck with all your future endeavors.
Hey! Liberty Alum here. Thanks for the inside look. My background is in nursing, but it took a turn toward education with a Masters in Nursing: Nurse Educator. Graduated in May, and I'm now thinking about the EdD. Pretty intimidating at the moment. But like yourself I'm an apologetics fan, and loved that I could integrate Scripture into work at Liberty University. It would be my 3rd degree from LU when added to the MSN-Ed and the BSIS (health sciences & psychology). LOVE the school. Makes it tempting.
I’m about to work on my PhD (doctorate) in business from Liberty University and believe me I know it’s not like UCLA or Harvard, but for me I’m serving in the military and made E-6 in 6 years. I’ve accomplished so much and from what I know about how I’m doing, people will respect you by what you do with your work experience and your degree. ❤ Don’t let a schools reputation deter you from earning your degrees.
@@JonathanHerron hey man ! Yeah I agree with you 100 percent it’s also important to have a good mindset into the type of programs you wish to pursue. Thanks for this video man I’m glad I got into the doctorate program it won’t be easy but I’m down to ride this path.
Amen and thank you for your service! Are you enjoying the program? Are you in the DBA or PhD program? I am considering one of them. Also were you able to transfer any credits? Hope you continue accelerating in your journey.
@@lbu9542 Thank you Bro, yes I am working on the DBA program, but as of right now I am going to be in the Certificate of Business for the Doctorate program so I can transfer over to the DBA program. The reasoning for this is because the military discount will be applied to the Certfificate first, and then once I finish the cert I can carry over those classes to the Doctorate program and then I can also attain the military discount. Which is actually very useful and practical for me, so thats a tip I was given by a college advisor. :) Thanks man for the questions. No, my MBA classes will not transfer over, it's all starteover from scratch. And so far I am excited to take this program and do what I can to learn and apply everything I know from my previous education to the Liberty's Doctorate program. :) God bless man! Ill be sure to keep in touch!
Starting my Masters in Health Administration at Southern New Hampshire University and wanting to pursue my Doctorate in Health Sciences (DHSc) at LU after getting my MHA. I wonder if those courses will transfer over.
In the video, you were able to take 2 classes during a semester. Which 2 classes? I'm in the Doctorate in Apologetics, and this is my first class, which requires me to read 1 book a week right now, I've ordered the "Remarkable notebook" you are using in the hope of organization without distraction. I'm still employed full-time and looking for solid advice. Thanks
Hi Kay! You are allowed to take multiple classes during your Core Classes and, I believe, also during your Cognate Classes. You are not, however, allowed to take more than one at a time once you begin your thesis project work.
I signed up to work on an MA in History at liberty and wanted to learn more before I start. Looking forward to a godly atmosphere instead of the university I did undergrad at. MSU is a godlier university than some, but I'm ready to study more church history and Biblical history. I did many of my undergrad essays on those topics. Think it'll be fun for school.
I think you are going to enjoy your Liberty experience -- I'll be cheering you on! Let me know if you have any questions that come up along the way, Andrew!
I already had one of my textbooks from when I took history and methodology in the undergrad coursework. It was the same edition, even. I bought all of my main books that the courses require for under $200. I go to a small church that is quarantining again because several of the congregants have contracted the COVID. I've worked the whole time and haven't caught it. Praise the Lord!
Oh and ADHD, I don't have, but I am brain damaged and have been since 89 when I was four. So I do have some cognitive problems, but the Lord put some godly folks in my life that were professors of the gospel and highly educated. Now that I am more mature I'm grateful I was tutored so much. I never took advantage of the special populations services until my senior year of college because I wanted to earn it by my own God given merit.
I have REALLY enjoyed the professors - they each come with a different personality, but all are fair and very clear on their individual expectations. The course work is just that... work! Lots of reading, but I am impressed that all books/journals are FREE online, so you don't have to spend any money on textbooks.
Thank you, Jonathan, for sharing. Anyone has gone through the Doctorate of Strategic Leadership (DSL) program, if so, can you share your experience and would you recommend this program. I am considering starting in 2024. I would really appreciate it. Thanks.
I am attending Liberty University Masters in Criminal Justice - Cyber Crime Investigstions. In the near future, I will be pursuing my PhD through Liberty
Awesome! I just graduated with my masters in Public Administration with a concentration in Criminal Justice last Saturday. I'm waiting on my transcripts to be sent over so I can pursue a PhD in Criminal Justice at Liberty University. I pray I get in. They said I have an outstanding chance of being accepted.

Much..finishing up my MBA..working full time and considering PHD..
Hoping to be accepted and start a doctoral program at LU this month, so appreciate your upload. For the ADHD consider a low or no carb diet.
Great advice - thank you!
