This is so sad. I cried because my Ragedy Doctor is gone. He was the Doctor that introduced me to the show. Of course I did start at the 9th Doctor after discovering it, I felt so excited to finally start the episodes with Matt Smith as the Doctor. Doctor Who was an escape for me, and escape from my abusive parents and terrible sisters. I would just go into my room, close the door, put the blade down, cover up my scars, and watched this show. It saved my life, because Doctor Who taught me that everyone is important, so i felt important as well. Although things havent changed in my life, other than the fact I stopped self harming, and even though its impossible, I dream that the Doctor will come in the middle of the night, and rescue me from my life. Please, let us have a moment to appreciate this Beautiful Doctor, We will never forget you :')

I hope you are able to gain the strength over your life to overcome these issues and that if you ever fall down. Even now years later this is still my favorite Eleventh Doctor tribute vid. The song is just perfect and it's lined up quite well with the clips. Allowing the dialogue to remain in the video over the song was a really good choice, I think. It adds so much.

When I watched this and the doctor said "I'm back" I was secretly wishing this was a trailer where the doctor regenerates back into his 11th form then that just made my heart ache because it reminded me of all the wonderful memories he had provided.
(The newly-regenerated Doctor chucks the buttered toast he just bit into right out the Ponds' house's door.) Doctor: "AND STAY OUT!" Me: "Admit it, you just wanted to see the butter fly." LOL, butter fly, the butterfly effect... Anywho.
I just need you to know that this video is amazing and I added it to my favourites about 6 or 7 years ago and as a fellow video maker for the last 20 years, I have such a hard time making videos with short clips and deciding where to cut them because I want to keep this whole section, and so I've never been able to make anything remotely similar with just short bursts of clips like this (at least not for a whole song) and the only time I really tried to do something similar was with a video I never finished and it's one of the few I have never finished and it's credits to you *breath*. Also, the choice of song in relation to the doctor and timing of the video and the clips and the voiceovers are perfect and voiceovers are something I usually avoid because I'm picky about where they're placed and can never just let it fly but this video lets the randomness rule and this song does not exist without the voiceovers now since they're ingrained in the song and I will just write out said lyrics with voiceovers to keep me entertained when I'm bored at work and I'm not kidding but I can watch this clip 10 times in a row and not get bored or predict where it's going next because it's just such a FUN clip and I thought you ought to know because feedback is nice and can brighten your day so I hope this does that :D
This has a kinda light-heartedness to it... But behind there's lots to learn from Doctor who... That's one of the best things about doctor who... You can be any age and still learn so much from it

I love the character of The Doctor. He has compassion, love and understanding and he's more human than we could ever hope to be yet at the same time he is so alien he stands out from the crowd and he's not afraid to be different. That to me is what it means to be alive.
