Just bought my first TV at the age of 29 after many years of moving around. Thanks to the help of you guys I decided on the A80L with the A5000 soundbar, never been happier! Thank you! 🙏
and that's NO thanks to this guys, they supposed to guide us with a purchase of TV but I always told them and keep saying that on Oleds TV,s the picture quality is the last what they should talk about because they almost look the same, they keep saying that! they almost never talk about Burn-ins, static images, auto dimming and most importantly the Heatsinks which is incredible important for protecting ur oled tv. in my opinion they don't have experience with oleds since they said that they all own leds tv and not oled they are purely focused on just the picture difference between tv.
@@sovanrith_2430 i'm also from EU. qm8 in somewhat the TCL C845 in europe. if is in your budget, the Sony X95L is your best choice. i had it and 95% of the times i really though it was a oled tv. no blooming perfect picture but unfortunately the reason i returned was because of the motion blur which i regret because i think it was a bug which they maybe fix it by software update. i don't recommend you quantum oleds from Samsung on long term (2 years plus) because of the high risk burn ins and the extremely annoying Auto dimming. i have the LG G3 oled now which is ok because of the heatsink and the 5 years burn in warranty but i still wish i could go back to the x95L but is too late now. hisense in europe don't even think about to buy one, they are terrible. tcl i have no experience with them
A95L due to a key part of my Sony system. First I live in Japan, and the USA Sony rep stated they have a service agreement with Sony Japan along with Sony quality build this is comforting to know that I have great support. I plan to use a center lift, which is now taking off with LG and other brands, and wireless back speakers and subs with my STR AZ3000ES receiver. Japanese have a deep sense of service, vs my visits to Korea, and China. Sony is a global leader in electronics with their own production company, recording studio, and distribution networks, so they know the business. I purchased the XR 65A95L for $2900 tax-free so I feel I got a quality deal with a five-year warranty.

I just bought a s90c, had it for a week and it’s a really nice tv. I was surprised at the speakers on the tv, they sound really good, very punchy, almost (almost) had me thinking if I needed a soundbar…..
I actually do think you can go back to Samsung from Sony, and I was someone who was DONE with Samsung, they had let me down for years on quality. But, I had a 75” X90J, tried out an X90L, X93L, A80J, and S90C, couple side by sides, tried for days at a time, the Samsung won. X90L has a flat picture and BAD washout at a slight angle or even if you’re looking at it too far below or above. X93L was very good, bright, excellent color, but could not beat the OLEDs in depth. A80J was too dim, sorry, it is, there was no HDR highlights pop for me, and sports just could not get bright enough. The S90C beat all these TVs in every category I tried except for an old SD show here and there and some lower quality UA-cam content. Every streaming service I tried the S90C had insane depth compared to the X93L, and the HDR highlights pop the A80L couldn’t reach. Even older shows and movies like Mike & Molly and Gangs of New York looked fantastic cleaned up when streamed through MAX, sports streamed through Peacock and MAX looked excellent, as good or better than the Sony. I thought I had become a Sony fan for life, but the S90C and QD OLED changed that, I’m someone who can’t afford an A95L, that’s $5k for a 77, or an LG, $3,800 for 77, but for $2,000-$2,500 the S90C is for me the value of the year. I can’t go back to LED now after movies on this QD OLED, and I don’t think I can go back to a dimmer WOLED like the A80L either, the S90C is the best of OLED and LED combined.
quick question: should I get this tv or opt for a mini led. I do long game sessions and have the tv on as long as im home and not sleeping. I'm worried about burn-in since for me this tv is pretty expensive.
@@sovanrith_2430 That’s a tough one, people do say risk of burn-in has gone way down these days, but it’s still possible. I watch a LOT of tv, movies, and sports, but I only play games for a bit at a time a few days a week. I don’t watch cable news with constant logos, and I turn the tv off when I leave the house, so I figured I was safe. When I’m home and I leave the room I leave it on, but a lot of things have screensavers, like my Roku, or when the tv is in menu mode or playing content off of a USB device it starts to play its own screensaver after a few mins when paused. So there’s a lot of built in protection for burn-in now. It’s also supposed to help if you’re not using the TV’s brightest modes constantly. But yeah burn-in is always a risk, like they say in this video if you want the tv get a warranty with it, it’ll cost more but it’s worth it in the end. If you’ll always worry about the burn-in though, there’s a lot of good LCDs out there, I get that fear, it’s why I avoided OLEDs until now, but once I used the S90C for a few days I couldn’t go back, the depth and viewing angles are insane.
Excellent excellent live thanks FOMO, this year for moneywise and upgrade from an old tv, the best 65" is G3 and the best 77 is Samsung s90c and best 85" is x90l, there's a better options yes but not worth it imo
1899 $ (in fact after discounts available for a mind blowing 1600 $ here in Germany lol) for a 77 S90C should be a no brainer for 95% of people. Skip the A80L, I'd say either get the S90C this year if you need a inexpensive QD Oled, or really wait for A95L Discounts next year, the A80L is just not QD Oled and it's too dim for today's standarts. A80L and G3 are in a difficult spot, price wise, for me there is only the choice S90C or A95L. (maybe S95C when it goes down to around 2000 $ for 77")
Was wondering if you could go to OLED back to LCD good to get that answered. I was thinking about OLED but nobody test a TV for 5-10 years which is how long i would want it to last.
Just got a X90L. The color on it is amazing compared to my c1. Love both TVs but the X90L was well worth its 999 price tag. Also like the Sony software over LG
Thanks FOMO and Brian for being the most helpful TV channel out there. The accuracy police out there are bullying everyone saying the A95L is the best TV bar none, because its the most accurate and you are stupid for considering any other TV. Its great to hear your voices of reason talking about budgets, use cases, prior tvs, etc. Thank you
Cant decide between LG C3or Sony A80CL. Looking at 77in and mostly for movies/tv shows (home theater) going to go with AppleTV 4k and sonos dolby atmos speakers. price pretty close due to Superbowl sales
Damn. Yesterday 10/30 I logged in w my triple A account and the had the 77" S90C for $1999. Talked it over w the wife. Logged in today 10/31 and it's gone. Hope they do the same for black friday or Christmas 💔
Glad that I got Sony x90L 85 inch after your review for $2,000. Not sure if it’s going to go lower for Black Friday so I didn’t want to risk it. Seems to be $2,200 already
I'm getting my x91cj replaced by Costco with the x90L 85". I'm hearing it's quite a jump in quality from earlier models. What do you think so far because I'm still a little worried it's still not miniled so the blooming and smearing will still be distracting but overall I'm not too picky because my x91cj has made me happy overall
@@claykeough7898 Overall I’ve come to love it. 90%-95% of the time I don’t even notice the blooming. I’m not to picky when it comes to blooming though. The volume and bass are kinda lacking so definitely recommend a soundbar. Something annoying on mine is that maybe once or month or two it freezes so I have to disconnect it. My parents have the x95L . And yeah the saturation and blooming control are better. But definitely not worth the price difference Another way I look at this tv is that it’s the best well rounded tv that does everything more than good enough for my use case. Mini leds are superior. But they are more complicated and have more parts. Meaning more chance for something to go bad. At least that’s way i look at it . So honestly if you’re happy with your current tv then the x90L should also make you happy so shouldn’t be worried
@@claykeough7898 I wouldn’t worry. After couples months of having the x90L the blooming is barely noticeable in most content. I rarely notice it. You should be happy
Love the content! Currently have a Sony 800G, torn between going to the 85" x90l or going with a 77" oled. Wanting to stay under/around $2500. Any advice?
LG G3 OLED vs Sony A80L OLED 83 INCH MODELS. I can't decide on which TV to purchase. I am putting this in my living room that has 20 ft ceilings and only windows that are up about 15-17ft high. The room is brighter in the day but the sunlight never hits the wall where we plan to mount the TV. We as a family only watch TV at night (streaming) and very minimal gaming. We stream and watch movies with the Sonos Arc, Eras 300's and Sonos Sub Gen2. Which model is best in your professional opinion and why ? I feel like I'm splitting hairs on this decision but the only difference for us is that the G3 (83" does not include the MLA technology) is brighter than the Sony A80L. Appreciate the help.
Hey guys ,I currently have a 75" Q80r samsung and trying to decide either lg g3 77" or lg 83" c3 or g3 I'm in a light controlled room and stream and watch 4k blurays what do you think?
Hmmm, well I think I will be waiting until we have 100 inch TV’s to buy my next tv, since I am perfectly happy with my x95k, from last year, at its 75 inch size with an Xbox, and Apple TV 4k
FOMO and Brian, I currently have a Sony A8F, which one should I upgrade to 77 A95L or 83 A80L. A80L is currently $500 cheaper than the A95L. Sorry, i missed if you already answered this.
@stopthefomo 77 inch LG C3 vs 77 inch Sony A80L. How much more should I pay for the Sony over the LG because of XR Clear? I believe you indicate in your video $200. Current price difference between the two is $400. LG is currently at $2,500 and Sony at $2,900 so I assume as of now you would say buy the LG? You also indicated that you thought the Sony would drop to $2,500 on Black Friday. How low do you think LG might go? Any chance the 77 inch models might get a great price on a flash sale? One other question if I throw the Sony 85 inch X90L into the mix at $2,000 what is your choice then? Does the size increase of the LCD make it worth it over the infinite contrast of the OLED? Coming from an old Plasma TV.
Hey Fomo, I’ve been watching your videos regarding the X90L and S90C. I have bought the 75” X90L and I have no complaints. However, I can return this TV and purchase a S90C or G3 for roughly $300 more than the X90L. Please help with my decision!
Hi FOMO, really appreciate your content I have been considering your inputs on which TV to pick for my new living room. I hope you could help me on this one. I previously have an LG C1 and the PQ is great but it's not good for a very bright living room with lots of windows and glass doors. I am eyeing for a new living room TV and I want to ask for your opinion. it is a very bright living room and I want a new TV for mixed usage (usage is more likely for sports and movies). I am considering these because these are the only ones available in my country (Philippines) 77" is my size choice: - Samsung S95C - Sony A80L - Hisense U7K - LG C3 A80L here is very much more expensive than the S95C it almost has two times the price. Do you think the S95C might be best?
Now that the 85X95K is on clearance, currently $3k but has dropped to $2700 already, is it worth considering over the 85X90CL? Currently, the 85X90CL is $2K with a 5-year warranty. For mainly streaming, is it a good idea to trade the XR clear for the mini-led and xtra dimming zones and paying the $1k difference in price? Even if Im contemplating getting a PS5 for the holidays.
Looking to get 65 inch oled. Max I want to spend $1600 considering C3 or S90C. Watch a lot of UA-cam Tv, sports, Max, and Prime Video. @stop the Fomo what do you recommend?
not sure which tv I should be looking at coming from a Pioneer Kuro 50 inch HD, not 1080p (yes! I sitll have it and running perfectly). Really like 77 Sony OLEDs. Which model should I be looking at, probably can't afford the top of the range.
should i get the 77" s90c or a mini-led? I do long game sessions and my tv is on as long as i am home. Burn-in is a big concern for me with these prices. Also mini-led tv's are almost the same price as oled's here in Finland. For example 77" hisense u8k is 2800€ and the s90c is 2600€ with a discount. I think I might wait for next year for a bigger price drop
Coming from TCL R615 55 with Q930B sound bar. Darker room. Mostly antenna tv and Hulu through sheild tv pro. Occasional 4K bluray with some Nintendo Switch gaming 65 inch S90c or A75L?
Im considering to buy either the Samsung Oled 95C or Bravia 95k now im panicking because black friday is near so im now more confused what to get. i can get the Samsung 95c Cheaper than the Bravia 95k but i have been waiting to save up for the bravia. can someone help im from the UK
2:05:57 I’m in the same boat smaller a80l or bigger x90l. I guess I got my answer, bigger x90… though I’m also considering lg g3 but it’s 600 more. Any thoughts from anyone? Another catch is, I’ve never seen the g3 in person, it’s not easy to find one here
I have a 48 c1 and want to upgrade to a 55 or 65 and was wondering if I should go samsung s90c or a song or lg c3 or 4 or go with a g3 try to stay under 1800?
I'm looking to replace a 60" Samsung plasma that I bought in 2009. I have noticed in comparison with other TVs that mine is looking darker overall in comparison to newer TVs and I don't seem to be able to strike a good balance between accurate skin colors and colors being too vivid (if that makes any sense at all). I have Spectrum cable and we stream Amazon Prime, Disney, and other services from an Apple TV box. No gaming at all on this TV, mostly watch sports and movies and would like to bump up to 85". I would really like for it to perform really well right out of the box (if that's even a thing) because I'm not very knowledgeable about the different settings and would like to spend $2,000.00 or less and am willing to wait until Black Friday deals. Based on what I'll be using it for, do you have a TV that you would recommend?
@stopthefomo - I’m looking for some advice on the best TV for my situation. I’m considering the 77” Sony A95L, the 83” LG G3, or the 85” Hisense UX. I have a seating area roughly 12’ from the wall where the TV will be mounted. Given my scenario, which TV would be the best option?
83" A80L will have better image quality than the 83" G3 but the G3 has the 5 yr panel replacement warranty unique to this model. Obviously, for that price you can also consider the 100" Hisense U8K which is the perfect size for 12' viewing distance but this is only if you are upgrading from an LCD TV; if you are coming from a smaller OLED TV, then you have to stick with OLED as your next upgrade.
My current TV is a 65” LG UH7700 LCD. I primarily use an Apple TV to stream all my content (80% TV shows/movies, 20% live sports) and rarely play video games via Xbox Series X. I wasn’t considering anything over 85” to leave space on either side for my home theater setup.
After giving it some thought on LG G3 pricing for the 55" I think it will go down another $100 after CES and before Superbowl weekend. It won't be any clearance price with a 10 month old TV I hope LG will drop another $100 off. That is what I'm hoping for that is more realistic. I keep saying this, This won't happen if Samsung doesn't do its own $100 price drop on the S95C 55" in January. I have to add on the LG stand. After taxes I'm budgeting $1977. I got a huge Best Buy gift card that will help. However $1800 is my sticking point on my total finance limit. Robert gave me the offer. Best Buy is on my Work Tango plus I need the Best Buy Credit card and need the 24 month payment plan. For every new shirt I buy I keep adding more to my list.
Love your videos, watched a bunch of them prior to buying a new Samsung S90. I have to say though, I am quite disappointed watching NFL football on pretty much any of the networks using any source. After turning off all the manufacturer's impacting settings I continue to see a what looks like a mini "force-field" around each of the football players when viewing a play at a wide angle. It looks like smearing is intentionally introduced to obscure artifacts. Not a motion artifact, happens when players are still. This results in a picture that lacks details, to the point my wife/family ask me why my new TV is blurry or fuzzy. Have you noticed this? Is this common on all the big 3 OLEDS (C3, and the Sony)?
@@user-nj6rk5xs1m I am curious why you ask? No I didn't. I have basically decided to live with it. I was inches away from returning it since this is the #1 reason I bought the TV. However, it is awesome at everything else, and there are no guarantees the LG or Sony wouldn't have the same problem, or a different problem. I am FAR from an expert in this space. Yet, no expert pointed this out in any of the reviews and I was never able to do a side by side comparison. I did finally get someone smarter than me on this stuff acknowledge it exists in one of the AVS forum threads. However, no solution and I couldn't get verification the other TVs are better. A part of me wishes I would have spent less money and just gone with the Sony Bravia top of the line LCD. I have to remind myself though when watching movies, this thing is WAY better than an LCD. Amazing black and brightness. Even though football was number 1 for me, I probably spend more time watching other stuff. No perfect TV I guess. The only other issue is the stupid Samsung software that is a pain to disable. I 100% use Roku or Direct TV. Finally figured that out.
@@ronknott5574 I’m trying to find a good tv for sports and have been looking at the Samsung S90C and using the Sony X90L … also been looking at the LG C3.
@@user-nj6rk5xs1m Those are the 3 obvious choices for someone not looking to spend a stupid amount and go state of the art. I encourage you to try to view what I am seeing somewhere and compare sets. It is only evident from a wide angle. Mostly football, but maybe soccer on wide angle. Doesn't matter the source (streaming, DirectTV, Apple, Peacock, ESPN, Roku, box. . . . . Never an issue for me watching hockey or baseball. Only a problem when players are small and the "haze" in large enough to matter. I tried watching all 3 at Costco before I bought because I was concerned with glare. That turned out to NOT be an issue. However, Costco didn't show football games. I ended up buying at Costco because I couldn't find anyone at a local electronics store that would tell me something I didn't already know and their price was the best considering warranty as well. Just make sure you really care about the black levels. If not just go LCD for less money.
@@ronknott5574 from regular viewing (sitting in front of the tv or alittle to the side) sports look good ? I’ve been using the 75 inch Sony X90L and like it but not sure if I’m missing out in terms of picture quality … when I use my iPhone 12 Pro to watch sports it has like a 3d sort of effect with the players and people and the colors have a wet look … so not sure if I’m missing out with the S90C
Hi FOMO - great show! I’m looking to replace my 65” LG OLED C7 for an 85” TV. My use case is sit 13” ft away from TV, big tall windows w/ lots of light, kinda worried about burn-in, and mostly watch sports and movies - streaming only. My budget is around $3,500. Any recommendations? Thanks!
I'm considering going from 65" OLED (S95b) to Hisense U8K 100" (for the immersion). I saw the 65" U8G and was impressed - thinking it's "close enough" if I add in the size immersion. (I"m watching in a dark room). However, You mention that if coming from OLED to not go higher than 85" LCD. Does the screen get washed out as you get bigger (i.e. 100" U8K will look worse (although bigger) than 65" U8K)?
Not terribly washed out, but the contrast is a noticeable drop in darker rooms HOWEVER, you'll get lost in the immersion from about 10 feet away which is better with the 100" U8K than the 65" OLED.
I have Different opinion . Hey I am not expert BUT since I respect 🫡 Fomo. I am JSUT sharing my opinion since I HAVE 65” U8G ! Last 4 years Hisense has H9G , U8G U8H U8K . I have H9G n U8G both . N I tried to buy U8H 75”directly compare to S95B ! N I have seen U8K 55” right next to display of S90C (same peak brightness 🔆 of S95B) . Also I have seen S90C S92C (in Canada they have that lol 😅) , s95c 😮 standing alone between 65 n 75” 85 S90C. N i played with Hisense U8K in store with remote ! Eveyone tells u Oled is better in dark . But there is half day bright . In summer most time is bright , In home 🏡 Xmas lights on 😮is bright . In store S95B is great then. s90C beside d U8K (wow u see the white color has slight Dim/goo) to it in bright room . 😮the white egg 🥚, bunny 🐰 in d 😮demo looks slightly blue tinted Vs fresh white from U8K . Because its bit close to OLED dim . So any tv over 1400 nit will be significantly with more 3D Dimension visual ! 😮
I currently have a 2013 Panasonic VT60 65 plasma that is starting to go bad, but has a great picture after the flashing lines go away once it warms up. I want an OLED but i am concerned about ABL. My plasma still does not have burn in so I am not too concerned about that. Is ABL really a problem? What is comparable? S90C, A80L, or LG C3? They all look good and are in my price range. Help...🤯
S90C because I do like QDOLED HDR impact better with high quality sources and brighter sports but if you stream a lot or coming from Sony TV then you’ll appreciate its superior upscaling features and A80L audio is better.
I was really tempted to go 85" X90L from Costco at $2k. I agree with XR Clear. It looks like a much better upscaling even in store. However the blooming was undeniable. I think its great for a mid-range but i dont think its top tier even with XR Clear. I watch alot if subtitles and dont think i could bear this level of blooming. Ended up buying a 85" X95K for $2,475 based on a KG price drop post
$500 seems like a pretty good deal for the upgrade to mini-led with more dimming zones. I haven't been able to find any side by side comparison of both TV's. Also, so far in my 3 weeks with the X90CL, the only part with blooming that annoys me or most noticeable is movie credits. I'm never in a fully dark room, so black bars are not too noticeable yet. But what are the trade-offs between the 85X95K and the 85X90CL? Besides the XR clear for mini-led and more dimming zones? I tried comparing both on RTINGS, and even the brightness level seems to be the same. Would 85X95K be better for streaming than the 85X90CL? Since I'm barely getting into Sony, Im still doing research just in case a good deal comes around by Black Friday. While the X95L seems amazing, I'm not yet convinced of paying over 4k for it, haha😅.
I think you should stick with the X90L if you mostly watch streaming. The X95K/X93L does not have the XR Clear which seems to be a game changer especially for lower quality content like streaming. I only mentioned the blooming because I watch a lot of subtitles which are normally white on a black background and didn't want to see that kind of blooming all the time. I was really tempted to get the X90L 85" especially at $2k. But my subtitle watching blooming issue disqualified it for me. I think you are good at that size and that price for mainly streaming.
I am looking for a 55” OLED. Debating between LG c3, Sony A75L and Samsung S90C. Any advice? Mostly movies and shows, living room with some windows. Does anyone know anything about the A75L? I can’t find any specs about brightness or performance. Thanks
I hope you can help me. I have an A90J 65" an A90J 55" and just purchased an A95L 77" . Everyone of you experts Brian, HDTV and alike all say Dolby Vision Dark is what the direct intended. If that is true they all have dark depressing personalities. Playing movies in Dolby Dark or Dolby bright is so depressing they are unwatchable. The most unwatchable movies in those formats and that includes Sony's new professional that replaced custom are the movies that have been transferred to 4K from film like Jerry Lewis Nutty Professor and Elvis in Blue Hawaii. These pictures look like the director intended when watched in Dolby Vivid. Can you share some "light" on this for me?
NOPE, A95L DV is completely broken and needs a firmware update. The good news is that in HDR10 movie content looks nearly indistinguishable from DV with only very VERY minor differences. My G3 DV Cinema is calibrated and doens't look better than either S95C or A95L in HDR10. Creator's intent in DV is limited to the special "creator's DV fully calibrated reference monitor" which looks NOTHING like any of the TVs we have available to us and that includes the LG OLED because unless properly calibrated, your LG OLED (even if Hollywood uses it for DV client monitoring) is calibrated to death and looks nothing like what you get OOTB. Check out my comparison video of House of Usher between DV and HDR.
I thank you so much I have watch all your videos and am a big fan . One question I did the firmware update are you saying DV is still bad after that latest update?@@stopthefomo
I like Sony but tbh when it comes to tvs Samsung offers better value because if you are a gamer the Samsung offers better runout latency which means your inputs will register faster while gaming so you'll have the advantage especially in fighting games.
I tried both of these TVs side by side, if brightness is an issue to you get the S90C. If not and you watch a lot of old tv shows and movies on cable the A80L might be better. I went with the 77 inch S90C though, the HDR highlights are just bright and fantastic, and for me they weren’t on the Sony, just couldn’t get bright enough as someone coming from an LED LCD tv used to brightness. If you’re just watching movies though, both are great, I’d personally say go with the better deal.

In LG G3 models, the screen overheats like an oven, the C3 is a little cooler, but the coolest running screen among them belongs to the S90C. Cooling performance in LG models may not be as good as Samsung. I tried it myself. You can try it yourself in the store. It may also cause problems with longevity or durability.
I'm a Sony a80j owner for 2 year and my kid broke the panel so I decide to give Lg a chance and bought 83” G3. After a week and I exchange for Sony a80L. Even my a80j look better than current 83”G3 right now. I understand the 83”g3 doesn't have MLA but even 30% bright booster that they promise. It still not compare to Sony picture. Right now A80L 83” is selling for 4k where the 83” G3 is still at 5k. If LG don't low down their price. They will lose the competition. Sony a80L bring so much value and better picture for 1k less. If u look for 83” Sony a80L is a no brainer!
Hello guys can someone help me pls. Im looking for tv max 800 better less €. I cant decide qm8 u7 kq samsung q70/80 or something else. I would go for qm8 but i dont want buy new tv after 2 years
Ill wait next year when they make the blacks inky black in a lightly dim room for qd oleds. Since it seems its missing a polarizer as its mentioned in other reviews which I thought gen 2 was suppose to fix. Its kind of strange that they claim to have infinite contrast but then do not have a polarizer so the blacks are lifted. Just wondering if anyone bothered measuring the contrast ratio of the lifted blacks because thats a useful metric. I do not think many people watch their tv in a dark room so I think most people will deal with lifted blacks mostly. I wonder if the a80l with the inky blacks would have better image pop, and 3d image compared to the A95L but have the same processer. Which then goes to show that contrast is very important for image quality and what ppl are paying for in an OLED. So therefore with lifted blacks its more like a hybrid OLED, that has some of the faults of LED screen. May be it does not have blooming, but lifted blacks is affecting the image quality since it seems the g3 is better than the a95l in this regard even though sony has better processing, but the g3 has inkier blacks. Also the g4 has rumors of getting a more powerful processor which I assume will bridge the gap even more between sony and lg, and with the better contrast and better processing in g4, it should beat the sony, unless ofc due to competition sony finally releases the polarizer to stay on top. Which to me seems intentional that they do not release all available tech to release something for next year in regards to sony in this round.
I looked at the a80L wich is good for movies but the imput lag is 17m that's just too high for what we pay for 10 and under but also good for movies how's the a95L imput lag

Just bought my first TV at the age of 29 after many years of moving around. Thanks to the help of you guys I decided on the A80L with the A5000 soundbar, never been happier! Thank you! 🙏
What tv were you comparing the Sony a80l?
Nice setup!
I got an open box 55" LG G3 with 14 hours of runtime for $650. Saw it and pounced immediately. not from a major chain, just a local place.
Just bought a TCL QM8 65” love it! Took my crappy LG OLED with dead pixels and burn in and gave it away. Never going back to OLED!
and that's NO thanks to this guys, they supposed to guide us with a purchase of TV but I always told them and keep saying that on Oleds TV,s the picture quality is the last what they should talk about because they almost look the same, they keep saying that!
they almost never talk about Burn-ins, static images, auto dimming and most importantly the Heatsinks which is incredible important for protecting ur oled tv.
in my opinion they don't have experience with oleds since they said that they all own leds tv and not oled
they are purely focused on just the picture difference between tv.
@@ejdhdjejejebdnemso I shoudn't get samsung s90c but rathet a mini led?
Any suggestions since qm8 is not available in Europe

Exactly right 💯 that's the best value this year thanks for sharing ❤😊
quick question: should I get this tv or opt for a mini led.
(maybe S95C when it goes down to around 2000 $ for 77")
1600 in Germany where? Can you link the offer please
Just bought a 75" X90L and I really love it! I honestly believe "at the moment" the Sony X90L delivers the best bang for your buck.
Was wondering if you could go to OLED back to LCD good to get that answered. I was thinking about OLED but nobody test a TV for 5-10 years which is how long i would want it to last.
So should I take my G3 65 inch back and just stick with my CX 65 and save money??

Just got a X90L. The color on it is amazing compared to my c1. Love both TVs but the X90L was well worth its 999 price tag. Also like the Sony software over LG
Once u go Sony. U can never go back to other brand. That’s just my experience 😊

Thank you
Never worry about that nonsense my friend! It's your TV and what you prefer is the correct way for you
Cant decide between LG C3or Sony A80CL. Looking at 77in and mostly for movies/tv shows (home theater) going to go with AppleTV 4k and sonos dolby atmos speakers. price pretty close due to Superbowl sales

But definitely not worth the price difference
Another way I look at this tv is that it’s the best well rounded tv that does everything more than good enough for my use case.

Hi FOMO,
Coming from 75" Samsung Q8FN, is it worth it to upgrade to Sony X95L?
LG C3 83" is perfect for light controlled rooms and a nice bump up in size from the 75".
Sorry, I have 65" A8F
What about the the Sony a80L vs the A95K?
What tv would be an upgrade over a 55 LG C1? Thank you
Missed the live stream FOMO but is upgrading the 77 G1 to 83 G3 a big enough of an upgrade even without MLA?
Have a 65”A90K what are the advantages, other than size, of the 77” A95L

From all the tvs you have reviewed this year, which one is your favorite for gaming?
I really need your guys help. Would you buy a 65 G4 for 2400€ or a 77 A80L for 2400€ ??
Im comin from a 55in lg cx. Love LG televisions so considering a G2, C3, and the A80L... Thoughts please at about 55 to 65 inches.
Should I/We just wait for the 2024 models to come out?
my advice is ALWAYS WAIT if your TV still works - the longer you wait the bigger, better your TV will be for the same money paid the year before
Hi FOMO, really appreciate your content I have been considering your inputs on which TV to pick for my new living room.
I am considering these because these are the only ones available in my country (Philippines) 77" is my size choice:
- Samsung S95C
- Sony A80L
- Hisense U7K
- LG C3
A80L here is very much more expensive than the S95C it almost has two times the price.
85X95K is the better TV for HDR impact and overall image quality and deserves to be $700 better. I don't believe XR Clear makes up that difference

A80L or X95L coming from an LG CX
should i get the 77" s90c or a mini-led? I do long game sessions and my tv is on as long as i am home. Burn-in is a big concern for me with these prices.
Also mini-led tv's are almost the same price as oled's here in Finland. For example 77" hisense u8k is 2800€ and the s90c is 2600€ with a discount.
I think I might wait for next year for a bigger price drop

2:05:57 I’m in the same boat smaller a80l or bigger x90l. I guess I got my answer, bigger x90… though I’m also considering lg g3 but it’s 600 more. Any thoughts from anyone?
Another catch is, I’ve never seen the g3 in person, it’s not easy to find one here
I'm sticking with my G2 and it's excellent. Thats the cheapest
G2 ironically has the better color processor than the newer G3 so you have a keeper!
I have a 48 c1 and want to upgrade to a 55 or 65 and was wondering if I should go samsung s90c or a song or lg c3 or 4 or go with a g3 try to stay under 1800?
Boys my options are Samsung q70 or Hisense U7K?
85” Sony X90L is $2K or less right now and fits your needs perfectly
For sdr content sony x93l or samsung s90c?
So for gaming and sports, what tv would be better? 75 tcl qm8 or 75 hisense u8k?
Dream tv is easy.. making it to reality.. that’s another thing
Great. I am also keep coming back to G3 after comparing it other like Samsung S90C, XL90 and C3. What are your thoughts?
@@tardepralhad I might be waiting in July for the G4.
Did you ever find a solution ?

Should I buy the LG OLED B3 55 or Hisense u8k 55? I watch only OTA and streaming services... No gaming. Thanks in advance!
OLED B3 55" and you'll never go back to anything less! Check out its current deal under $1K at BB howl.me/ckXmnUKTLgD
Thanks!
83” S90C is now $3500 check my community tab! This is the 83” OLED bang for the buck!
@@stopthefomothe u8k 100” is now $4000!
Just got a new 55 inch LG B3 for $800! Seems to me that the B series deserves more attention.😊
Help...🤯
I am leaning towards the s90c 65
Between a Sony A80l or Samsung S90c which one do you recommend and why? Thanks!
S90C because I do like QDOLED HDR impact better with high quality sources and brighter sports but if you stream a lot or coming from Sony TV then you’ll appreciate its superior upscaling features and A80L audio is better.
Thank you so much Fomo and keep up the great work!@@stopthefomo
I’ll take the LG G3
Trying to decide between either the 77” B3 or 77” C3. Is the processor in the C3 really worth that extra $500?
No but it’s slightly brighter, I suggest the B3 and if you’re happy YOU WIN
I like Sony but tbh when it comes to tvs Samsung offers better value because if you are a gamer the Samsung offers better runout latency which means your inputs will register faster while gaming so you'll have the advantage especially in fighting games.
Hey fomo, crazy that you can get a 77 S90C and A80L for the same or less than one 77 A95L🤷🏼♂️
S90c or a80l? For 65in, price diff I think is 300
If you stream a lot, watch for A80L discounts
@@stopthefomo we watch movies much more than play games, we don’t watch sports too, very rare.
@@stopthefomo one other concern is warranty, only 1yr for Sammy , 2 for lg and sony
@@weezysloboptions have changed. As much as I want s90c I’m hearing Samsung support is a pain in my country (plus they only offer 1yr warranty).
Choosing between 75 x90l or 65 a80l. Yes one is fall but highly regarded and bigger or the other is smaller but oled. Or go big with lg g3 (it’s not easy to find the g3 here and is 600 more for the g3
yeah samsung s90c is not my dream oled tv i have one at home 😊❤

Hi, please help me find the best 75" TV for 1400 EUR including tax. It must include IMAX Enhanced, HDR (HDR10, Dolby Vision), 100Hz, and Dolby Atmos.
IMAX Enhanced is not my thing so I my suggestions would not include it but I'd definitely look at the Sony X90L.
Guy’s Sony A80L 77” or A95L 65”?
A80L 77" if you're coming from a much older OLED or LCD TV and if coming from a recent OLED like C2 or A80J, then go with the A95L
@@stopthefomo Hello, thanks for the Reply. Actually believe it or not I am coming from a LG 65” C7! Still working really well. I just think it is time to experience the latest and greatest! I might even consider the 77” A95L!
Ohh is it? The G3 has a heat sink I believe and still this is strange
I would go for qm8 but i dont want buy new tv after 2 years
Wait and see what January CES 2024 has in store
❤Brian and Fomo are Brother from different Mother :) 😊 peas in a pot.
Fomo we need a s90 83inch review
I looked at the a80L wich is good for movies but the imput lag is 17m that's just too high for what we pay for 10 and under but also good for movies how's the a95L imput lag
77” LG B3 for $1,796 or 75” QM8 for $1,398 ? Not a gamer, just enjoy movies and streaming.
