I'm building a Dart block 363 w/AFR 195s, 10.8:1, an RPM AirGap, custom grind cam and Stealth EFI for my '85 4 eyed GT hatch (original owner)...along with a Magnum 6 speed and 5 lug Cobra set-up.

People today think shifting this fast isn't even possible with a traditional 3 pedal manual h pattern gearbox but I beg to differ. This video is proof of the contrary. That sounds way better than most coyotes I’ve heard. The 4” or larger piston sure is hard to beat the sound. That’s why I went 351w from a 96 f250 hydraulic roller camshaft was a good place to start.

Towards the end of the video, when the in car video is shot. Can anyone plz help. The car is missing the rear ceiling trim piece that goes from rear left pillar to rear right pillar. What would be the correct name for that piece?

My old 5.0 with edelbrock heads loved timing. I think I ran 18 or so initial which I think is 34 total timing

i regret selling my fox 5.0, it was my dream car as a kid, it was the reason i am a car guy, i love this one, and hope i can get one in the future, nothing sounded better than that old push-rod, on another note this dude shifts it like he stole it, beast mod shifts right there.

I want a t56 magnum so bad for the way I drive out the box they are said to take no throttle lift shifts easy even at 7200, I have a dart block 363 with a set of renegades 195s and a custom cam from bullet also have a t trim but I'm looking for approximately 500hp high 4s cause power steering ac compressor still on the car so much money tied up in it already wanna sale my tko and get a magnum but cant find any used and also think about the stealth fuel system upgrade as my car is efi...great video I enjoyed and subscribed

I get the Coyote allure, but IMO anything 1995 and older, THIS is what the first choice is. It's just FUN.

Over 500bhp is very nice, am I to assume that is on 93 octane ?
I have a BMW M140i (straight 6 twin-scroll turbo), it makes 412bhp but 576nm torque, not too bad for a small hatchback ! We get 99ron/octane petrol though, which helps power a lot.

It’s just a standard dart shp 8.2 deck block. This 363 is uses the same stroke and rod length as a 347. Only difference is the 347 uses a 4.030 bore and the 363 uses a 4.125 bore
Great car! Cool video too, and I do speak Ford, but I am wondering something about these " 363" small block strokers? From my understanding you can make a " 363" from a 351 Windsor, what fun is that when you can build a " 363" from a 302 block. From my research, they say that the 302 " 363" is made with a Boss 302 block! If this is true, wouldn't one want to put " Cleveland" heads on it instead of " Windsor" heads? I'm not made of money, but if I ever am, a " 363" stroker " Boss" is right up my alley, any insight, or things that I should be aware of when it comes to these engines would be more than appreciated? I haven't watched all of the video yet but I will lol. Thinking about a 363 for my 94 and through Prestige and the rated 500 flywheel HP long block what is it 15 % of that should be your wheel hp? Well maybe I can expect around 400-425 ish. I reached out to Doug and awaiting his reply. I'll likely either go Prestige, ZSR, or Ford Strokers and maybe even CHP. No track car just a nice weekend mostly streetcar.
I’m running 363, afr185, rpm2 intake, 224/232 cam, GeForce t5, 1 3/4 BBK long tubes w/3” collector mod, xpipe, 3.55 gears, EFI, peak 420rwhp at 6k. In your opinion, where am I leaving 80 hp on the table? I would have guessed 500hp for your combo but at a much higher rpm- 6800(?). Is that a solid roller cam? How much vac at idle? Your car is a monster for sure!!
The AFR 185 heads arent as good as the victor jr IMO. I feel like the carbureted setup is good for more power over Factory style injection. it made peak power at 6900 rpm. the rpm reading wasnt acting right that day. The cam is a custom 235-243 .575/.585 lift cam on a 112 lsa

Ppl act like ford 302 based engines cant do work na. I beg to differ 500 rwhp is no joke for 363 cubes imo. Not the greatest power per cube ever but very respectable numbers. That is on a mustang dyno through drag radials (both will cause lower numbers...on a dynojet on street tires it may be closer to 550)

Nice build, 363 is a potent SBF. 195 AFR heads with trick flow box r intake is my ideal setup.
Go with at least afr205 heads.

@@coyoteslugger3936 not sure your i would get with comp cams and tell them what you have and what you want to do with the engine. They have hydraulic roller cams specifically for efi so maybe one of those. Yeah the cam is a critical piece of the puzzle.

Also sir what special part do I need for t56 magnum fitment in my foxbody to make sure clutch and all works properly and I can shift like u in the video....u have a 2.97 1st gear?
Lakendrick Cantlow yes I have the 2.97 first gear. Only thing I had to modify is the clutch fork to work with the longtube headers and the 7’oclock fork position QuickTime bellhousing. Find me on Facebook and messenger and I’ll be happy to answer any questions you have. Thanks
Might also need a shorter driveshaft. The t56 case is bigger.

So I’m currently running TFS 11r190s on my 302. I’ve come across a dart block, but read on lmr and the dart 363 they sell states will not work with TFS twisted wedge heads. Is this true? Why? Or is it just the pistons that come in that one they sell? The block I’m looking at is the 8.2 4.00 bore sportsman a guy locally is selling brand new for a good price, that is want to stroke to 347 or possibly a 363.
Have to have pistons specifically for the twisted wedge style head. The 363 LMR sells is for a factory inline valve angle head. The block is no different

I got the rotating assembly I just need the dart block, there so expensive...
Check the ford 302 boss blocks there not as bad and have been proven to make 1500+
The dart block is cheaper than a decent rotating assembly
Decent heads cost half the block.boss blocks are decent but the shop or sportsman is worth it for a few pennies more
I mean, there's a company doing aluminum 9.2 decks.. can evidently go up to a 460 with em.. world products I think. But 8k for a block that needs some finish work is steep.
