- At the Drive-In performing "One Armed Scissor" from their album "Relationship of Command" live on the Farmclub.
I don't own this video, just sharing it because I couldn't find it elsewhere... enjoy :)
thank you for posting this. the crowd is so confused they keep trying to dance
19 seconds in and omar already loses his guitar
fucking radical these guys are the shit
I come back to this video for exactly this moment 😂
How Omar and Cedric never broke their god damn ankles and legs is a miracle in itself.
because they both got that latin blood in them.
I saw this on tv, but was too young to understand who they were.
Then in 2007, I found this clip online and realized the band I just fell in love with was the same band I saw the first time. My mind was blown.
It was on after WWF, for some reason I can remember that. I can also remember there was usually just fucking garbage on that show as far as bands (some sick rappers every so often though). I was amazed they were playing on national television. It was literally the only time I had ever went out of my way to watch USA Network.
I remember seeing this on USA too. I remember going into school the following monday asking people "did you guys see that band At the Drive-in on USA? they were pretty awesome" Everyone was like "...who?"
Use to watch this show everytime it aired when i was like 12 or 13 years old. I loved atdi performance so i bought the cd the next day.
Wow... I rember seeing this live on TV too. I was a bit in shock but not as much as the crowd! Nice to find it back on the tube. Thanks!
I clearly remember watching this on USA the night it aired. So crazy how multiple things in this video are no longer relevant: USA Network, AOL keywords and Matt Pinfield.
there cant be any other band with more energy on stage than ATDI
I couldn't remember the name of this show until today. I remember watching this one afternoon at my friend's house and it blew our minds. From that day forward, I was a fan of ATDI.
This is a really showman performance.
I love how you can sense this attitude of "Lets just do this fucking thing and tear the shit out of it in front of live television" Love at the drive in.
I love bands that have that punk rock, don't give a shit attitude.
Cuz I’m a million miles away, will you get this letter.
Flawless
Never heard Jim scream like this before. Sounds fucking awesome.
I love his bass tone
I love the way he throws the mic, at the end !
I used to watch this show all the time
Thank you for posting this. ATDR is my favorite band!!
1:45 weirdest thing ever in history of rock
hahaha
@@djabthrash I came looking for this part exactly
Totally agree, bro.
@@seba_85 I made this comment 10 years ago...about 3 years ago I was in a really shitty EDM club because of my friends and suddenly out of nowhere "RATM - Killing in the name" started to play in the mix and the whole dance floor started to dance like this chick including my friends....I was the only one jumping around and head banging lol good shit
they are back! THIS STATION IS NOW OPERATIONAL \o/
dude do you have the jools holland one? i cant find it any more...thanks for the upload too
Thats a music man bass for ya the perfect tone I wish I had :(
Daniel Moore You can get the same tone with a Fender Jazz bass with either pickup configuration
Bass sound BOOM BOOM BA BA BOOM BOOM
Amazing.
awesome
I just cant handle these jumpcuts. i dont understand why. its okay. love ATDI
Now that's how u f*** ken do a performance, ATDI hell yea!!!!
LOL dancing to this.
2:02 LMAO. Fuck yeh.
such wonderful crowd made of a silly corporate youth, they must have found that "loud rock band" like cool and totally awesome good fashion style and stuff
What's funny is that this is an anti corporate band
Apparently that entire audience wet their beds that night after witnessing this.
Omar's opening-move is dropping his guitar and being out of tune for the whole song. When I first saw this it was like "What the hell is wrong with these people" but they became my favorite band
It's punk rock, it's rock n roll. fuck it, I love when he does that.
He does a SWEET Donkey-Kick @1:10!
lol at 1:45
Trying to type in the AOL keyword and nothing is working
there was quite the number of double d's in that audience. wtf
SOOOOOOO much better than Mars Volta
@lacowie it's called woman, dude
Send transmission!!! One om snipsore¡!
Send transmit to the needle one arm!
Cut drug weigh! Cargo BAY
>lousy cliches
>"silly corporate youth dancing to MY rebel music!!!"
keep on calling me a kid and patronising me, maybe you'll sleep better
I think the joke is lost on you.
This is why you shouldn’t sniff too much coke before going live
Cedric is not so messy when playing live with The Mars Volta... this is always something i didn't like with ATDI live.. they fuck their own songs with that...
yes Ross, but still, in this case, it's too messy and it doesn't sound! you can play your riff in a messy way without doing shit
you think cedric sounds messy? listen to omar rofl.
