Is that a Spanish guitar with steel strings? The high E seems a little low

It's a 1909 Levin parlor guitar made for steel strings. There is no high E string in the video.

@@AndreasBrink I mean the sixth string at the bottom. High E in standard tuning. In open G it's a high D, and it sounds a bit low. I'm a blues artist too.

Or maybe when you slide to the fifth fret ( high G note ) you're not going all the way.

What strings gauge are you using

Newtone Heritage 012 low tension. With normal tension I would use 010 on a guitar like this.
