I was watching a soap and a guy was telling someone to get out. First he said '¡Lárgate!' Then he reiterated it but the second time he said "Te me largas" im so confused. How does this translate? Is it "Get away from me"? Please help!

@@essjay3051 This is a native format that is used when you mean business. When you are really scolding someone or telling them to do something again. It means the same thing as lárgate, but is more emphasized. Both mean get away from me / leave me.

The first time I watched this video, at about one third from the beginning, I was so confused and was thinking how could this guy claim he would leave us zero questions... Totally frustrated. But after I kept on watching the whole video, it became totally making sense. It helps alot understand the Spanish lyrics. Thank you. It doesn't leave me zero question, but it helps tremendously for me to learn Spanish lyrics.
Some months ago, I would have had no idea what this sentence means. I understand exactly what it means now, though it takes me a little over 1 second to understand each word. My Spanish is improving
C. F. I had to watch it more than once , it really sunk in the second time and it triggered me to ask a question that I didn’t know I had. Definitely watch more than once and try forming your own sentences. You got this!
This video is going to help my students a lot. There is just one little problem, that they probably won't notice but maybe it will help you to know. On the chart on what the direct object pronoun replaces, it doesn't replace a mí, a ti, etc. The a is not a personal a here, it's a prepositional phrase that equals the indirect object pronoun. The direct object takes the place of a noun. I probably wouldn't have known all this just from speaking but I had a student who teased it all out!

To a person new to Espanol I think this is one of the most difficult aspects of the language. English is my first language but because of my grandparents my second language is Russian. If the indirect is directly directing the direct directly then directly direct the indirect directly to the C- you’re going to get this semester. Count the number of times the word “-direct” is used in an explanation. If it’s more than once or twice the explanation is too confusing to follow. How can I learn Spanish if I can barely follow the English explanation?! That said, this is still one of the better lessons I’ve found.

Just so you know, at around 15:57 in the video, I spotted a typo in the English translation of the sentence "Le quiero preguntar." Instead of "ask", it says "eat". That was also kind of funny!

Amazing video! I feel like you should mention that sometimes Le is sometimes used as direct object in professional writing and used very often that way in Spain!
Yes but that is Leismo (the wrong use of le) and The real academia española allow using "le" asía direct object only in one specific case. That happened because many people in Spain are leistas and because it's Spain otherwise it wouldn't be allowed if that happened anywhere else. People shouldn't learn that unless you want to live that.

Excellent video and very helpful because it's something I struggled with for years. Great segway into your next video which should be about the different uses of "se" in Spanish. You just covered the substitution for le/les. Of course there are many more like the impersonal "se" and the reflexive "se" and so on. Just a suggestion because I know it would be helpful to a lot of your viewers.

That happened because many people in Spain are leistas and because it's Spain otherwise it wouldn't be allowed if that happened anywhere else. People shouldn't learn that unless you want to live that.

Excellent video and very helpful because it's something I struggled with for years. Great segway into your next video which should be about the different uses of "se" in Spanish. You just covered the substitution for le/les. Of course there are many more like the impersonal "se" and the reflexive "se" and so on. Just a suggestion because I know it would be helpful to a lot of your viewers.
