Pretty good video! For Super Mario 64 specifically, I would recommend playing the native port of the decompilation as opposed to emulation, but it's nice to see that it's possible.
I remember this emulator from the PlayStation Portable. What the PSP benefits from is that it uses the same architecture as the Nintendo 64, however, it too has sound bugs. I tried Mario Kart 64 on there and was surprised to see it works in the first place.
Many N64 games like the system’s Zelda games were actually limited to 20 FPS with frequent frame drops. Mario 64 and most other first party games on the system are the exception to the rule, most of the time running at 30 and the occasional 60 FPS game like Smash.
Feel like its been better than it was in the past. Though I would imagine your talking about old 3ds, not new 3ds, which definitely sucks that it'll be worse
Double check that there aren't 2 Daedalus 64 folders, if there is move everything into 1 folder and make sure Daedalus is in the 3ds folder from the root. That was my problem, now it works and I can play
Neither 3ds or Ps Vita is very successful with Paper Mario. Laggy and graphical glitches in my experience. Your best non-PC solution is if you have a Wii U(inject VC-version) or Nintendo Switch(Online subscription or mod it in).
@@Mer0lk man that sucks if only nintendo ported super paper mario/64/ttyd to the 3ds along side sticker stars that would have made the 3ds alot better but whatever
It's cool that it can play n64 games, but the 3ds already has a much better smash bros and mario kart, and there's a native mario 64 port on the hshop which plays the best. It's just not worth the glitchyness for most 3d n64 games.
same here, and I wanted to play it with the 3D effect too this emulator had the 3D effect enabled at one point in the beta builds but then I think they removed it but I haven't followed the scene in so long that I am not sure if they ever brought it back, I wonder if it has the 3D effect enabled now that it is in stable builds. he never showed the options and I saw that the 3D slider was set to off the whole time during the video
why? you can get the port and you can even get the port with the 3D effect, it's awesome This emulator had the 3D effect at one point but they stopped including it but I haven't been following the scene so I am not sure if they added it back, but either way the port running native will still run much better I am sure, I just love playing it with the 3D effect on
@internetivan on the new 3ds xl you usually have to remove the case to get to the sd card, but this person made a hole in the case so they can get it without going through that hassle
@@internetivan On the New 3DS XL, the standard design often requires you to remove the protective case in order to access the SD card, which can be quite an inconvenience. However, this resourceful individual has taken matters into their own hands by modifying the case. They've skillfully created a hole or an opening in the protective casing, allowing them to retrieve the SD card without the need to go through the typically bothersome process of taking the case off each time. This modification enhances the overall user experience by making it more convenient and accessible to manage the SD card without the added hassle of frequently removing and reattaching the case.

That's EXACTLY why I came SPRINTING to the comments
its not running in widescreen its just stretching the 4:3 image sideways to fit the screen
This is truly one of the ways to play Mario Kart 64 of all time.
Buck bumble works and that's obviously the only game you need
I want ph on 3ds and it's rickroll which makes it better but download doesn't work anymore

I'm playing Dk 64 now on my New 3DS 😊
Runs well?
Im going to give it a try too
I have a problem, when I start any emulator game the 3ds just freezes. someone help me with this?
Is there an option to not stretch out the image?
It's full screen, but not in a good way...
I would buy a 3ds right now if n64 ran natively
My 2DS XL just keeps crashing whenever I click the app D:
Are you running the latest 2DS XL system update?
You should use the new 3DS models for N64. As for the crashing, try loading the N64 roms into the correct folders if you have a new 2DS model.
Would be tight if the 3D worked
My emulator keeps freezing in 3ds XL
Huh, might try this for dk64 and banjo kazooie
Hey man, have you tried it? I wanna do it for dk as well, comments ?
I wonder if harvest moon 64 works il have to test it
It works really well for me on the new 3ds xl
BRO SAME MODEL OF 3DS (The galaxy pattern)
i'm half sure you're using the ph application to get people to make comments
it worked!
When I load up a rom it crashes
A lot of fun software is only aveleble on the new 3ds is this the case? (Im planning on buying a new 3ds anyways but for noe i have the 3ds)
In the face of everyone who always say “it’s impossible 🤓”
is it just me who has tried to emulate MM or OOT on 3ds then found out that its gonna stay this way with not fix

hi! Can you test tony hawk pro skater 2 plz?
Does this only work for the new 3DS or can it run on a 3DS XL?
It’s original 3DS compatible but runs at low frame rates and crashes the system if you try exiting out of the emulator, not a game though
