ABOUT ME
I’m 33 years old and I’m a sheep farmer from Ayrshire in South West Scotland, which is why I have such a strong accent! I was born and raised on a sheep farm watching my dad who was the shepherd.
At 18 I went away from farming to work in the city s a Police Officer and at 23 (2013) I decided I wanted to do something for some extra money so I went on a sheep shearing course. The hardest thing I’ll ever do was learning to shear sheep. [shudders thinking about it]
I shore whilst on my holidays from work for 2 years and then in 2015 my dad died so I decided to get my own sheep so I could continue working with sheep as it was something I loved doing. From there it escalated quickly from my first 4 sheep in my mum’s garden to now running around 1200 breeding ewes.
A few years ago I bought myself a sheep pregnancy scanner and have been building up my run since then.
I watched a few farm vlogs on UA-cam and decided I could have a go and now here we are!
Since starting The Sheep Game I have met Lizzy and had two incredible boys Jock and Angus. You will see them all on this channel!

Lizzie, I really feel for you, as do all the moms on here. Nothing worse than your child being sick or hurt. With my son I used to joke that we needed to keep a reserved seat at the emergency room, but none of my kids ever had to be put under general for their stitches. So worrying for you! Maybe they just do it differently in Scotland than here in Ontario. I sure hope Jock heals quickly. It doesn't seem to have slowed him down!

Beautiful sky and fields with the sheep. Having the pens in the fields is great, as long as they stay in them. Looks like Jock is doing fine after his operation. Once the freezing is out he may feel different. Hope he recovers soon.

That comment about not knowing what the parts are called reminded me of how I learnt bovine anatomy. Spring break of sophomore year of high school, I went to the Graham School in Garnett, Kansas to learn how to preg check and AI. Each morning, we would say the Pledge of Allegiance the instructor would the point at a diagram of a cow and as a class we would recite the name of each part and what is function was. I still remember “the clitoris is the female feeling” being recited by a bunch of Gomer Pyles.
Keep churning out the lambs and the kids, we need more of both.

I’ve had as many as EIGHT ADS in a video, and that’s during the time UA-cam had blocked Cammie’s revenue because he shows reality, not just cute bouncy wee lambs.
Always lots of ads but they're usually under 2 minutes. Recently I've been having ads that are 30 minutes long per ad. Was wondering if it's just my algorithm or if it's more youtube foolishness.
