Is product complexity the only explanation to delay in production ramp up between gigafactory (producing batteries) and teslas factory ?
if you consider the factory for the product also a product, then sure ;~)
Is the Tesla computer basically a TPU?
YES.
All such dedicated hardware are simply dedicated ASIC's for trained networks to do inferencing (real time prediction for new data within the landscape of a trained data set).
So Tesla is basically making their own very tightly domain constrained ASIC (which is what Google's TPU is) for housing trained inference networks.
Nvidia was providing something as a hybrid between a general purpose CPU and a fully matrix operating GPU ...TPU's engage optimizations that make their execution of tensor calculations to be more efficient compared to either a CPU or a GPU which adds some performance gain from either of those approaches (as Google has also seen with their TPU).

There are more people that like him , than don't.
this is a strange god that has attracted even stranger acolytes.
He can handle the spotlight, there are several others who cannot yet.
These not-showers, do they have a reason to be silent?
Beeing a god he is not :D (whatever words mean doesn't matter in a yt comment section. remember that. take care young padawan ;~) (i.e. define what "god" means and what properties a "god"-being would have. it's called imagination)
he has taken on a god like persona in the effect that there are two camps,
those who absolutely adore him,
(...without ever having met him,.)
and those who absolutely despise him,
(..without ever having met him...)
............he creates a response, in other human beings, that normal people, cannot.
