I got caught out during an emission while trudging through the swamps. The only nearby buildings were ran down shacks that provided no protection. Supplies were already low and only had 6 medkits left. Didn't even have time to use them all. Such is the way in the Zone. It was my first legitimate death in the game after some solid hours of gameplay. I Immediately put on "He was a good Stalker" and took a little break. This game is incredible.
I mean. It doesn't kill you instantly like in old games. You still can heal yourself. So does it mean you technically can survive emission just constantly healing yourself?
@@datseb997 does food healing stack? If so you could spam click eat tuna though the inventory. It only plays the animation after you close the inventory, but the healing starts anyway. Cant remember if it works with medkits though.
Its so magical that they removed integral mechanics that 15 year old games had. Like A Life. The mechanic that makes the world feel alive and constantly moving without your presence. Where npcs are persistent and not spawning randomly. It's sad what's happened to games.
Bro just sacrificed himself so that we can witness the beauty of an emission 😭

Impressive. I've died a ton. It's unfortunate, but it is the way.

The health loss begins to speed up to a point where you can't heal fast enough, ultimately leading to your death.

@@-TBH- no sadly, it's % based so eventually you'll die.
There's a kill trigger I think
Such is life in the zone.
