@DanielGarcia-ss1te I had this issue. Used the kids white series s controller and the problem went away. Nothing wrong with my x controller on every other game I have. Super weird issue
Was at a location yesterday where those turkey/pig looking things just wouldn't stop. I went though so much ammo before I realized what was going on. Even after I reloaded the save it just kept going. Couldn't even loot the bodies of the soldiers I watched trying to kill them. One or 2 is manageable. But I had 5 of these things taking turns knocking me down. Couldn't shoot, couldn't reload, couldn't even use healing. I hope they fix soon because I'm not going to progress the game until then.
At the 10 minute mark when you talk about pistols and noise. If you have your pistol equipped a silencer and you have your aim on you make zero noise. The blue bar doesn’t even show up.
Also definitely install mods that reduce the health of mutants and reduce the repair cost, it feels like the repair system was never actually play tested.
Great video. One of the best tips for me was that ammo actually highlights when hover over a gun, I hadn't realized this, so I was trying to read all the different calibers and also trying to remember what names goes with which gun. Had anyone else encountered the problem with bullets not being available for the long shotgun? I just remembered that I might have upgraded it so maybe thats the problem...??? Holographic sights isn't available in the first section right?
All the shotguns use 12 gauge that I've come across (they might canonically be 10 gauge since the system in that part of the world is different but that's firearm semantics), there are different types of 12 gauge ammo, but they should all work on any shotgun unless you changed the caliber which wouldn't make much sense and I don't know if you can do that for those. They should've been fine. In the lesser zone I didn't come across a holographic sight. If you want to make a trek into the next region to the north when you clear the checkpoints, the shop owner there had one for sale, think it was around 3500 iirc.
@@MegadethTillDeth Thanks for the info. It was a facepalm moment for me, in my exitment over having coupons to upgrade I apparently apgrade me shotty barrel in a way which alters the caliber in some way so the normal shotgun ammo cant be used in that weapon any longer. And I cant reverse the upgrade any longer so I had to buy a new Toz.

Im 12 hours in on rookie and ive only died 9 times, all my deaths have been from radiation and fall damage💀, but as a stalker old time fan and similar firefight games, mutants are tanks, do approach with shotgun, utilise grenades their tactically amaizing for outnumbered firefights once you get use to, and approach all firefights thoughtfully and stacked on ammo, taking cover and thinking through your firefights slightly tacticslly will win all your fights, oh and i reccomend getting use to headshotting
it won’t let me sell yellow durability weapons literally at all. Do you repair them first then sell them? You seem to spend more in repairing than you get in selling. And this is on the easiet difficulty (I didn’t wanna deal with stupid bs like bullet sponge mutants) with a green faction like the trader and tech are green which I’m pretty sure means I spend less to repair and the trader gives me more when I sell. What I’ve been doing is finding guns I like and repairing those. While trying to save money by using my pistol when I can and picking up yellow smg and shotguns to kill enemies and using my Ak and pump shotgun when I need a more powerful weapon. I’ll usually head out with my pistol and 2 primaries the zilmar ak and a shotgun or smg depending. And I try to use the yellow guns I pickup so I can spend the cheap smg ammo and also not damage my main guns. I think carrying 2 full primaries might be too much maybe I should only carry one fully repaired and one yellow that I how away when it goes red. Any tips for what I should upgrade first? Frankly my biggest issue is weight I need so much more. Secondary is like physical and bleed resist and then like radiation and stuff.
Playing on the hardest difficulty honestly ammo conservation isn’t that big a deal. I constantly find myself putting more ammo away than I take with me to save weight knowing I’ll pick more up as I go

Similar in a lot of ways, but different in just as many. The metro series is really good at making the world feel alive in the setpieces it has, though most of it is more linear (including exodus to a much lesser extent) Stalker 2 has a lot more post-apocalyptic space magic happening, but both have those sorts of themes to some extent. However, stalker also has a lot of very scary moments that are much harder to expect (though oftentimes that's because the air itself or invisible enemies can jumpscare you). I also found the story in metro to be incredibly engaging, but that's in large part due to a fantastic writer
@glentaker metro is a great game series, well worth playing. Exodus, the most recent is particularly good. It'll be in fine condition now also after a few years of patches.
Metro developer are ex gsc crew. After stalker call of prypyat they split up. Metro choose to be more arcade, like call of duty, while stalker more to role playing and tactical. Personally I like stalker more.
A shame the hardest mode in this game is a joke. Yeah sure, it's harder than the others, but making human enemies and myself alike bullet sponges kinda kills it for me.
Ppl one shot on hardest mode. Veteran. Learn to aim. Also if u can aim, guns and ammo types matter. Use a shotty like the toz for mutants. Single shots in head for humans
I was thinking the same thing. I know I'm only playing it on the series S, but come on man, the character models are old and basic looking. The old decrepit houses and environment look like fallout 3. Don't get me wrong, fallout 3 is one of my all time favorites, but games shouldn't look like that now. It's nearly 2025. Maybe it's just me but I was really excited to play this. I have never played any stalker games before. But I'm a huge fan of the Metro series so I figured I would dig it, but I was surprised at how disappointed I felt within the first 2 hours.

This will only help when you start the game but before you finish the prologue at the last scanner spot put all your gear in the safes nearby and you can look all your gear when you go back to that spot
On pc it ate my guns
@@JappaChow nothing lost. You lose them anyway
... and discovering all this in-game is part of the experience !
It doesn't tell you if you play with controller you will have infinite stick drift.
I’m playing this on the series x. I’ve heard of people having that issue but haven’t had it myself as of yet. Supposedly there is a way to fix it but don’t remember what was said.
Have you tried adjusting stick dead zones maybe?
@codythompson9035 you're so lucky not to be experiencing that. Ive tried a couple things. Dead zone fixes, unplugging other peripherals. Nothing worked. I bought it on pc but I still use controller because I work from home and I'm on a keyboard and mouse all day.
Bro I was scared cuz my controller is brand new. Thanks for the heads up.
@DanielGarcia-ss1te I had this issue. Used the kids white series s controller and the problem went away. Nothing wrong with my x controller on every other game I have. Super weird issue
@kennyhunter4432 hmmm i should try another controller. Are you playing on pc?
8:47 no. Shotgun for mutants, Rifle ammo for Humans. Flesh and wild pigs take about 3-4 shotgun rounds. While theyll tank 3 Magazines of 5.45
The game is just perfect!
No it's not
It will in a few months or a year tho
lol
Stop supporting bugged games
The copium is insane with this game lol.
The games not bugged it's a feature @@blueboozle774
One of the best games I ever played
The boxes that show medical and ammo logos are breakable which I found out yesterday
Also the brown one with the fragile icon on the side. They contain food stuffs
Tks for the tip n.16. I didn’t what that was for!
Never played Stalker. Digging 2 so far. Very cool atmosphere.
Quick save is the best advice 😏 It will definitely help you a lot!
A lot of good tips!...thx
Mostly, it's not worth repairing a weapon to sell it for a loss
remembered a few tricks from CoP back in 2010 and applied here
What is that crouching animation at 9:58 😂
@@ahsans3277 bruh. I lost it when I first seen that while playing. 😂
It doesn't tell you about the silly enemy respawn rate 😳
Yeah that's a bug of the A-Life system that GSC has confirmed they're working on.
That because the a-life is broken
Thats fine more loot
I'm hoping it's a bug that they will fix. We can only hope. Other than that I think it's a really fun game so far
How about the quest icons on equipment. There is a little yellow symbol in the top left corner of items that are quest related. Don’t sell those
Great video.
You need the gun mod to use the sight
I'm 8 hours into the game, having finished the Azimuth mission, I ask: why is it that when I go to the technicians, no option appears for me to be able to fix weapons and clothing? That is, I only get the option on ‘’Listen to news about the Zone‘’ . Thanks I'm on SX
on pc when you start a conversation with a tech or trader you get a prompt on the right side of the conversation options to upgrade which is Q .... and a trader is E .... so whatever the button you use for your first quick slot would be what you would press to enter the upgrade/repair window
You can actually eat for health, and it does stack. I tested this with bread, meat and tuna.
My first stalker game.
Buggy… but I’ve never been happier since I’ve discovered kingdom come deliverance. This is an amazing piece of… art. This is art
@@DerDop both such amazing games
wish the stash box was bigger when you open it i had such a hard time placing them in it and keeping it organized
It's brutal on xbox, no clue why they thought making it 1/4 the size of your invent or equipped items screens. Super annoying I agree, also annoying that it rearranges the stuff you put in there no matter what, I want all my damn ammo together lol
I just figured out that if you press y while you are aiming it switches the fire type
the thing is, they made the design of their game so well, that a-life is just ...(wait..) a life!
Where can I find the silencer for the Scoper AK ?
1:10 I keep seeing in different videos that the stash is a tip? Are ppl really that oblivious to the only highlighted container next to a shop/bed?
I just can't see where I'm getting shot from sometimes and controller definitely wasn't refined before release. Other than that, I'm just ass at this game. Loving it so far!
Mistake 1: playing it before enough patches come out lol. I love the game but the performance on console is rough. Will patiently wait
So this game is like into the radius?
Im 12 hours in on rookie and ive only died 9 times, all my deaths have been from radiation and fall damage💀, but as a stalker old time fan and similar firefight games, mutants are tanks, do approach with shotgun, utilise grenades their tactically amaizing for outnumbered firefights once you get use to, and approach all firefights thoughtfully and stacked on ammo, taking cover and thinking through your firefights slightly tacticslly will win all your fights, oh and i reccomend getting use to headshotting
The detector thing is explained in the tutorial stage.
nice video!
it won’t let me sell yellow durability weapons literally at all.
3:10 the "Pig blob things" are called Flesh. Theyre mutated house pigs.
Playing on the hardest difficulty honestly ammo conservation isn’t that big a deal. I constantly find myself putting more ammo away than I take with me to save weight knowing I’ll pick more up as I go
Did you say "head detector"? What's that ?
What I want to know is there any point to reviving down to NPCs or does it just waste your med kits
it used to improve your rep with that faction - no idea if it has that effect in stalker 2
This game is giving me a hatred for dogs 😂 had like a pack of 12 on my ass
In arena when u get seva suit and the .308 i know how to keep both and they're sick. Took me 45 minutes of loading and saving but I got it to where I snuck out and kept them. I can write it here if anyone interested. 4 artifact slots default on the armor
Anyone know the solution for this? Where can i check my reputation standings with the different factions?
Anyone know how to use the other 2 quick access items on Xbox? Can't seem to use them and you have to have the items in those slots or the items slide left to fill in order.
Hold the buttons
Hold left or right on d pad.
I dont have a controller but left one is the button. Right one is hold that button
What doesn't tell you is you need a 4090 to run it properly 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@Alberto-xw8vx It is ok with 4060 (1080p of course), but what you realy need is 32 gb ram because of memory leaks. At 16 gb it is playable for half an hour then needs a restart to get back the performance.
Playing on 3070 in 1440p med/high and almost always have around 60fps. Just be sure to check out "Optimized Tweaks" mod on nexus - its a gamechanger.
that's because you don't, it's been running on 1661ti on highs for 40+ hours for me
I want 1000 things the game hasn't told me
Don't worry I am going to play this game 😊
Dont make this mistake and buy it after two years
which game's better? Stalker or Metro Exodus? they both seems so much alike!
@ wow thank you for the detailed explanation my dear friend!
Personally I Like Metro better but only bc the performance is better atm and the crafting system is peak. But I still LOOOVE S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
I hate that I have no time to play 😢 this game is fantastic even with the bugs
The biggest threat in this game are the bugs and crashes!
I uninstalled when I couldn’t use my flashlight, pressed every button
Changed the ammo type on a rare shotgun and it would not take the new or old ammo.. had to sell it for 22k coupons 😪
A shame the hardest mode in this game is a joke. Yeah sure, it's harder than the others, but making human enemies and myself alike bullet sponges kinda kills it for me.
the enemies hp levels are outrageous. not realistic nor fun. thank god there r mods that fix it
Ppl one shot on hardest mode. Veteran. Learn to aim. Also if u can aim, guns and ammo types matter. Use a shotty like the toz for mutants. Single shots in head for humans
Graphics looks bad compared to the trailers.
IGN doesn't tell you how they rate the game
They really need to fix flickering wall textures. Im at a point where i have to speak to a doctor & commander and litterally every wall inside the building flashes, seeing this stuff for the first time whilst having a 4090 gave me a mini heart attack, hope the hotfixes adresses the textures..
U have the drivers from the 12th? Im on 4090 and have not seen that problem yet
Bastard. Ive just realised ive missed an artifact in an early side mission. The one underground where you patch the guy up. Those manaic boars waiting outside for me distracted me.
“Red durability” its 45% and remember to unload ur gun before selling it
bots everywheeereeee
Save your red durability weapons if you want and you can sell them at rostok
Recent nvidia driver update smoothened my experience substantially.. but I just can’t get into the game overall!
I can see the appeal, but just can’t get into it man! The story just isn’t gripping me, at all. Seems like one of those stories that ramps up mid way though, so I’ll push through 😢
@@SilverDay17 this game isn't much about story. Never has been. It's there. But the real game comes from the world. Just experience it for everything it can offer.
@ yeah not usually my type of game, but reviews I watched spoke highly of the story, when it comes together.
I’ll probably give it a miss if the story is lacking, as that’s my main interest when it comes to gaming now.
*Story, gameplay, characters.. 🙏
@Nion8six I'd agree here, its worth pushing through.

Mistake 1: Buying this right now.
bruh ive been lugging my gear around thinking they wont transfer to a new area
20. A-Life is broken or was never implemented.
I don’t know why I’m just not fond of the game. I think it’s to me. It’s 142 GB savings space.
Mistake 1 buying the game.. all other mistakes pale in this comparison 😂😂😂
the hardest enemy ive faced in the game so far is fall damage
Im dying to play but wanted to wait a few months first. I'm tired of buying a game at release and it being all fucked up
My game goes down to like 2 FPS every 30 seconds or if i interact with any item.
Anyone else having a hard time playing on their controller while on PC?
You can find ragman in Rostok and sell broken weapons there. Dont sell anything else to him - his prices suck.
