First time I took this onto the field, I fell in love with it. Once you understand the mechanics, it's fairly easy to avoid killing your allies with it... as long as you don't get desperate and try to use it when the fighting gets close-quarters. Something I wish my teammates knew. When a single teammate is responsible for 5 deaths and 7 accidentals, I REALLY wish I could take this away from them.

That's why the Sickle is my favorite weapon. Uses laser, don't waste bullets. Also, no reloading for a long specially in cold weather. I'm making General Brasch proud!

The "tracking your exact location after you throw a red baseball" is bullshit, I'm glad they fixed that, but the enemies surveilling and investigating the area where a drop pod or blue baseball landed is totally within reason. I mean, if a bug or any faction in general sees a giant blue beacon of light and something falling out of the sky near their nest or location, they'll probably go check it out.

I mean, good honestly. It makes sense. Why would bugs know where you are if you throw a baseball near them? Let alone be alerted to what seems to just be an inanimate object falling down - stuff falls all the time in nature and it's not a cause for serious alarm.

I wouldn't expect this to stay. This is just them turning off of the noise aspect of these stratagems because they don't know how to fix it. Titans and chargers were instantly homing in on blue stratagems the moment they hit the ground for the past month. I had to do something about it but they didn't know what to do. Similarly how gas damage used to spread really far around things like the plague but for whatever reason it interacted with the fire the same way and things were on fire would light you on fire as well from about 10 m. They didn't know how to fix it so they just scrapped it

nah, you don't understand. bots were homing in on players that had set down mines, 20 minutes prior, on the other side of the map. that's absurd. that's why it had to be fixed. because people gave up on using anything but a specific loadout as a consequence which arrowhead themselves has admitted is something they try to design the game against encouraging. there are meant to be no "bad" options in this game and if the community is saying "mines suck" or "all these stratagems suck because they alert the enemy too much" that means AH failed at their job. a lot of people have reduced this game down to one afternoon/evening of farming once a week for months prior to the illuminate update due to stuff like that.
