- The Huawei P30 Pro has a pretty awesome Periscope camera on the back with 5 times optical zoom and 50 times digital zoom! The P30 Pro has some pretty intense hardware. Lets appreciate it from the inside. This is the tool kit I used: amzn.to/2VeU3Ee
Taking apart the Huawei P30 Pro is easy enough. The whole thing is glued together. Like most smartphones these days. But with enough heat and gentle prying we can get the back cover off the P30 Pro and get access to the internals. Like the 4 rear cameras, internal battery, and underscreen fingerprint scanner.

I've had my P30 pro now a year since it's launch and it's still hasn't failed. battery is as good as new, the camera is still way ahead of 99% of the current 2020 flagships. Think about it.. Huawei are way advanced. So much so, Samsung and Apple depend on trump to up their sales. 😉

It's not that hard to completely tear down a TV remote control and reassemble. I find I have to do that process at least once every few years. If nothing else to get all the darn dog hair out from underneath the contact membranes

Did everyone forget about the Asus Zenfone Zoom? That actually has a moving periscope optical zoom, compared to a fixed zoom like this one.
nuigurumisama I’m pretty sure it’s nowhere near as good as the hauwei. From what I know, no 50x zoom and if so it’s way less in the quality department. It’s a phone from years ago, there’s no way it’s photos are as crisp as the hauweis

Love this phone even now after having it a Year.
I had some slight issues with phantom touches and eventually my screen failed. Huawei actually repaired it for free in warranty (although I was 2 weeks outside the "1 free screen repair" window), gave me a new screen protector and complete screen. All of this was set up via the Support App and completed within a week.
BY FAR THE BEST REPAIRS TEAM.

@ateb3 please watch some actual shot of scenery , not a moon. I've tried some shots with the zoom, and it is amazing. Note10 and apple 10 couldn't get a clear night shot zoomed in like I did at a live performance.

JerryRigEverything I have the same Huawei p30 pro and I tell you I'm satisfied and the camera is amazing
I can see pretty much improvements have been done in P30 PRO as the battery can be removed easily with NO ADHESIVE like P20 PRO, everything is perfectly aligned.
Samsung refuses to send Galaxy Fold to you because they know that you're gonna rig it apart in less than 10 seconds...Edit: Omg thank you so much for over 400 likes! I've never got so many before!
Actually reviewers are forbidden to drop-test the Galaxy fold at the moment, this is why you still don't have any drop-test yet

On most Android phones, it will just crash the app and/or give a popup error "Camera failed" or something along those lines. Slight variances for different manufacturers, but nothing very exciting.

I accidentally poked the SIM ejector tool down the mic hole on my new p30 pro. Glad to know nothing was damaged
